So just how many hits are encouraged and deemed necessary for the forthcoming gameweek? Surely, if you are taking a number of hits, wouldn't it be wiser to share them across two gameweeks (both GW30 and DGW31) instead of taking -8 or -12 in a single DGW31?Open Controls-

Guys what would you say is an insurmountable score to overcome at this stage? My rival is around 60 ahead and I'm not too worried about that but just wondering how much of a points difference would make you feel as if you couldn't come back

All depends on how similar the teams are. You may think the DGWs are the place to make ground but most cores of DGW teams will be similar. Defenders will be where the difference is.

Very true, by this point everyone knows who is scoring well and who isn't. I'm hoping my extra team value will allow me to get in one extra player that he maybe can't afford but if he's shrewd with his money he could still get in a cheaper player scoring points. I always break it down into weeks remaining, e.g if I'm a 100 behind with 10gw left I convince myself it's no biggie because all I need is 10 more points than him each week

Is anyone starting to take UFPL more seriously than FPL? My FPL season has never got going and I've been hovering in mediocrity for ages now. But I'm 79th in UFPL and at least have a chance of achieving something out of it. Though no doubt all the players I pick will become injured after I can't do transfers, just like in the main game 🙄

I possibly prefer UFPL to FPL, but I'll always take FPL the most serious because that's what everyone plays. I'll no doubt put some extra effort into UFPL next season if after a few weeks I find myself hovering around the top of the rankings. But I think it's gonna be hard as you'll be playing against people who have paid to play.

It's come down to Lallana or Mirallas out, and for either AJ or Nolan in. AJ has the better fixture this week but imo Nolan will outscore him in the DGW. Lallana has Norwich at home and my nearest rivals have him, Mirallas has Cardiff at home and a double and only I have him, but his minutes are not 100% assured. I'm leaning towards Lallana out and AJ in. Trusting Mirallas one last time!
