We've had very similar seasons. Including a big rank drop in GW 11 and slow fight back. If I picked better captains I'd be up in the 100k with you again.

I really didn't do well with the captain decisions over the first half after GW11, and I probably took too many hits to try and compensate. My team has now settled down a lot, I'm taking less hits, and generally making a good call on the armband apart from when I picked wrong between the Liverpool two twice.

Only way I can get in Silva or Yaya is to do the following:
Evra > Distin
Oscar > Silva/YYT
for a 4 point hit.

Silva, but Yaya did player in the hole today. But Silva plays especially well when Aguero does. Distin is a better choice than ever anyway imo. But maybe even to Smalling?
