Any Stoke owners on here? You got any decent returns?
Open Controls*Owners of Stoke players not people with vested interest in Stoke City FC
Open ControlsBrief flirtation with Charlie A, but he was fickle partner, so we went our different ways.
Open ControlsDon't call us we'll call you 😉

Got a red card form Adam, and a three match ban which I had to keep him for
Open ControlsI'd have taken the hit to lose him Todd.
Open ControlsWith you on that one ILF.
Along with Aguero in & out for -8 last week 🙄 …...Adam's decision to sit at home for a few weeks meant getting him in early with a nice couple of fixtures to the DGW became another "hit to remove" epic fail...Open Controls
Loved owning Arnie, got decent returns
Open Controls
Adrian
Distin Azpi Chambers (Kolarov) (Ward)
Yaya Gerrard Mirallas HAzard (Snodgrass)
Lukaku Sturridge Suarez
0.0 in bank
OK to save?Open ControlsYep, bar Adrian imo, not impressed by their defensive potential over the run in.
Open ControlsMirallas should start vs. FUL since he was rested last night. Also, I'm happy to hold on to him for the DGW34. I would only sell Gerrard if he gets a YC and I did consider Adrian to Speroni but a bit short to do it as a straight swap with FT.
Open Controls
chester goal tonight would be perfect
Open ControlsDo you think with Everton pushing for a top 4 finish having already narrowed the gap, Lukaku and Barkley will step up even more?
Open Controlssturridge hat trick coming up..........c'mon Daniel!
Open Controls*Hat trick of assists for Suarez 😉
Open Controlsperfect! as long as danny outscores luis....
Open Controls
I can live with that, with Suarez and Skrtel assists of course and a CS.
Open Controlsdon't care about the cs...gerrard goal would be good too 🙂
Open Controls
so its decided then....Sturridge hat trick, gerrard 3 assists, no CS and a blank for Suarez 🙂
Open Controls
Yaya Toure has a 100% Clear Cut Chance conversion 😯
Just to put it into perspective, the other top goal scorers:
Suarez : 58%
Sturridge 59%
Aguero : 40%Open ControlsConversion rate*
Open ControlsImpressive eh?
Open ControlsDefinitely 😯
Open Controls
Most of them are pens.
Open Controls5/16 goals were pens.
Still pretty decent.Open ControlsHow many FKs? not that it matters
Open Controls4 free kicks scored, only 5 taken at Jan 22, now maybe more, but conversion rate must still be outrageously high in free kicks. Note, though, that very few shots from free kicks, so clearly counting his chances are good when he takes it.
I read an article where he told that he has a kind of scientific approach to football that he learned when he played in Belgium. He had this coach who taught them football as a science and he got into that and started to look at the game scientifically and develop his own performances accordingly. And the result is this immensely efficient machine of a man. He is kind of incredible. He seems slow, clumsy, a bit fat actually, his all shots and passes look quite sloppy. And yet he almost every time succeeds in what he tries, not only shots, but those long dribbles, passes, marking, what not. Strange player. I bet he would make a great manager too, one day.Open Controls
Yeah, but 5 of his 7 big chances were pens, so it's only 2/2 otherwise.

That's another good point about his conversion rates. How many clear cut chances has he had. I re-post this here, because it is related:
When we consider YaYa's unbelievable conversion rate, we should take into account his penalty duties and set pieces that rise his conversion rate massively. Has anybody counted his open play conversion rate this season? I would love someone to do that, and also to reduce the clear cut chances from that, just to really see is his conversion rate as unbelievable as it seems. If he would convert his open play chances with 50% rate, we would be quasi guaranteed that his scoring would drop at some point. But if that rate is below 25%, he can very plausibly continue it.
Average conversion rate is around 81% for penalties during match, YaYa's is 100%, and for free kicks it has been almost 10% in PL this season. Of course, that is pretty high free kick conversion rate. It generally is a bit lower and this is an anomalic season, largely due to one monstrously anomalic YaYa, who until January had converted massive 80% of his free kick shots - so a YaYa free kick has been like an average top professional's penalty! The general rate should probably be somewhere between 5% and 6%. See here:
https://www.bsports.com/statsinsights/football/premier-league-free-kick-liverpool-man-city-utd
Anyway, his overall conversion rate is 35,4%. I'm not sure if he still has that 80% free kick conversion rate or not. He probably does not have, because I'm not aware he had scored another free kick since then. Suppose he has tried another direct free kick and missed it and now has converted 4/6. And still those 5/5 penalties.
So, if you remove his 9/11 from set pieces, you will get open play conversion rate of 8/37, which is 21.6%, still good, but not outrageous. It probably is a bit higher, I don't know how many free kicks he really has taken since January 22, but still, it is completely plausible that he continues this scoring. Only thing I doubt is his free kick conversion rate staying as high as 80%. Although that also tells he takes a direct free kick quite rarely, so he must be sure of his chance when he does that. Which may keep the rate high.Open Controls
What do you think the best GK combo or single GK if your 2nd GK doesn't play is?
Currently got Adrian and Harper but WHU fixtures don't look too good!Open ControlsH2H games are weird. Currently drawing one 149-149 both 153s with a hit. Probably be my best ever score and in serious danger of losing the match. 🙂
Open ControlsGuys what's the shtory with Nasri?
Is he going to get many minutes? Is he a viable option over one of Silva/Yaya?
Is he worth it?Open ControlsThink he could be an alternative to Silva. More of a goal threat I think. But defintiely not over Yaya
Open ControlsIs he worth it over Silva with the 1.3m you save though..? I'm not sure..
Agree, definitely not worth it over Yaya.Open Controls
I don't think he is an option to match Toure, but he is certainly worth consideration.
Pelle clearly likes him and is getting the best out of him, and he was taking lots of set pieces last night.Open ControlsMidfields are looking difficult atm. Only a few really nailed on and fewer still worth having.

Whilst I will gladly accept Dzeko's brace, it just makes me sad to consider what he might've done for me if not struck down by illness for Fulham!

In New vs. Eve there is one player that sticks out for average playing position and touches inside the penalty box. Great differential.Open ControlsWas very surprised he actually got some assists. Didn't think he realised there were another 10 players on his team. 😯
Open Controlshaha, haven't seen the game but assumed he was shooting and it was an accident
Open ControlsI think he's shown his class and desire to do well, not many are hitting form at this time of the season and even if he's not getting 90 minutes he looks like he could make a real difference in some Mini-leagues.

Nasri --> Lallana
for -4 hit?Open ControlsThinking back over the last couple of seasons and the lessons that can be learned.
Some basic assumptions that were near enough to facts around these parts by all of us "experts" over the last couple of years would include...
Suarez couldn't hit the side of a barn, stay away.
Yaya is a deep lying mid, stay away.
RvP is made of glass.
Ramsey? You are thinking Ramsey? Are you crazy?
Mata is essential.
So, are these the only rare cases or can a leopard change its spots?Open ControlsRepost Do you think with Everton pushing for a top 4 finish having already narrowed the gap, Lukaku and Barkley will step up even more?
Open ControlsCmon sturridge get a hattrick today.
Open ControlsLukaku/Sturridge for the run in? Already have Suarez and Rooney.
Open ControlsMemo for Moyes:
- Drop Evra for the rest of the season, give Buttner a run in the team and the chance to show he is worthy of keeping.
- Never play Tom Cleverley again, he is NOT good enough, end of story. You may as well play a youngster or two and take a look at them.
- Mata needs to play centrally, but he needs players around him who can 'plug into' his playmaking. The lieks of Valencia and Young etc.. run away from him when he gets the ball instead of coming short for triangles and quicker moves.
- Rooney should never play in central midfield, especially when 2-0 down and needing a goal.
- Welbeck should be instructed never to shoot unless he is within 10 yards of goal, any further away than that and the shot will 100% be scuffed and pea roll wide or to the keeper.
- If Rio was a horse he would be retired to stud immediately (or sold for glue).
- Sign De Gea up to a long term contract ASAP.
- Offer Phil Jones some basic advice on 'positioning'. He's got the raw materials, but he needs them moulded.
- Play Fellaini as the anchor man, or not at all.
Peace out.Open Controlsagreed! (not a united fan)
mata had the worst game ive ever seen him play. doubt he has given the ball away that many times in his entire chelsea career. looks totally lost .
De Gea, united's player of the season by a mile
my god, remember the days when fellani was FF gold??
WTF happened to himOpen Controls
I did Dzeko --> Rodriguez earlier this week. Already feel like im going to regret that for GW 32....
