I think I'll do the same. But may play Zab against Arse in 4-3-3 over him this week, though he should be far and away the choice.

It's a lovely feeling looking at a team that's likely to score over 150 points in a gameweek.. but the likelihood is that most of the people we're competing against have posted similar scores. Hopefully Gerrard and Chester get a nice score tomorrow night and we should be doing quite well.

they will act and I believe he will be sacked..

There's no way Ferguson and Charlton are going to say anything negative about Moyes until he's sacked (if he is). That would just be stupid, there are still 7 PL matches and 2 CL matches to go after all. No point further disrupting an already sinking ship. I personally do not think Moyes will be the manager come summer (could be wrong), but we won't hear it until mid-May at the earliest.

southampton are structurally tighter than sunderland, they just keep screwing up with individual errors. boruc barely has a save to make all match then a ludicrous back-pass creates a goal. i'd go with mannone just because that seems to be working, his quite frankly ridiculous upsides are higher than boruc's 6 and 7 pointers

in fairness after winning the minileague with friends the main priority is finishing with highest rank, not necessarily highest points.
In 2010/11 I got 2150 points and finished in 3582. The previous season I had gotten 2167 points and finished in 109k.
This year I'll be happy if I make into the top 100k, jumped nearly 50k this week up to 158k. Have only had 8 red arrows all seasn but this is my first time inside the top 200k this season - its a weir one

Been in a mini league last 4 seasons so always tried to look at rivals but with no mini league this season (for money) I feel my OR will improve and hence I would be ahead of mini leagues (which I am but no money involved). To cut my theory short, pick the best player and don't look at rivals teams (I know it's hard to do!)

I believe as the years progress the more and more people take FPL seriously, and the more young guns with their analysis have come in and made it even harder for us with ambitions of making it into the Top 1k club! I see much like the Viking invasion into the poker scene last decade!!

Always intrigued by people who play in money leagues, how many are in it, how much do you all put in, when do you put it in, is it not awkward asking people to pay up etc? Sounds amazing in theory but in practice how is it. Would be great if FPL set up a function where to enter the league you put the money in and it's all done automatically, the idea of taking 50 off a dozen people bit by bit sounds more embarrassing and hassle than its worth!

I was in a work league last year. 2 quid entry. People started getting kicked out if they hadn't paid by about GW3. I think there were about 80 people in it. Some guy just sent an email around and you had to get the money to him if you wanted in.

I won it because that's how I roll.

      A nice idea would be..
      20 people each enter 50 euros/pounds
The year is divided into 4 quarters.
The winner of a quarter will receive 200 euro/pounds with the runner up getting his 50 euro/pound back.
After each quarter your scores are returned to zero in the league and the same little competition starts again.

66 points needed from 5 (counting Suarez captain as 2 players) to break the mythical 200... That's a CS from Adrian, a couple of goals from Stevie, a couple more from Studge and another Hatty from Suarez.... A boy can dream.

Nothing ruling out a 30+ point Suarez captain haul.
