let's say suarez played up front for fulham today instead of dembele (who put a good shift in but finishing wise had a bit of a brenteke). holtby probably would have got a good 3 assists with exactly the same performance. and 12 tackles for a midfielder is pretty extraordinary, happy it has been rewarded. 3 best players on the pitch imo were naismith, holtby and deulofeu. stones was close but i think his class on the ball is masking not being the best defensively recently, no coincidence newcastle and fulham peppered the goal in the last 2 as far as i'm concerned. the sooner jagielka is back the better.

Delofeu seems like a frustrating player to own. He does all of the hard work and squanders it, by either running into cul-de-sacs, or not getting his head up to cross and gifting it straight to the keeper or missing everyone completely. I felt Lukaku's frustration today.

City and Pool are quite similar in some regards. Both able to perform capably without their star man up front but are an entirely different beast when Suarez or Aguero are back in the side. City have had the misfortune of Aguero's constant injuries, if they weren't a problem I feel that the league would be City's already.
