I think he means "you can't win them all". The underlying stats are there, it just didn't come off today... that doesn't mean it wasn't a good decision in retrospect. If you choice is between picking on the basis of in depth analysis instead rather than Yolo or Suarez every week, then don't be too disheartened by the odd blank.

But on the other hand, a team with young players need some experienced players with them. I think what England is doing is good in the long run. Just look at the likes og Ox, Wilshere, Shaw, Walcott, Barkley, Sterling, Sturridge and so on. While there are experienced players such as Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Cole and so on.
