We delve into the data once again this evening and assess some of the standout statistics over the weekend gone by. Arsenal’s fit-again midfielder, Chelsea’s Brazilian schemer, Sunderland, Swansea and West Ham’s frontmen, Palace’s defence and Everton’s raiding right-back are amongst our main topics this time around:

    evening chaps,

used my FT to get Ramsey in, now considering shifting silva to nasri and adebayor to rooney, for -8

I'm leading one ML by 50+ and chasing in another.

    is it worth -8?

    Ramsey, Mata, Nasri, Sterling

    Mannone (Davis)
    Baines Coleman Bardsley (Chester Dann)
    Gerrard Silva Nasri Eriksen (Puncheon)
    Lukaku Kun Suarez

    For -8

Gerrard Silva Lukaku > Mata Ramsey Rooney

Bad idea? What would you do??

A few saying Rooney next week but I think it's inevitable I will be taking a hit next week so won't save me any points doing it this week imho and see Rooney as a better prospect than Lukaku this GW!

    v liverpool

    schwarzer
    ivanovic - cahill - luiz - azpilicueta
    mikel - matic - lampard
    salah - ba - schurrle

    v atletico

    schwarzer
    azpilicueta - ivanovic - cahill - cole
    ramires - luiz - willian
    oscar - eto'o - hazard

it's clear mourinho would rather not have to play ivanovic at CB but mikel, lampard and matic all out the 2nd leg means he might be forced to with luiz desperately needed in midfield

    Who's gonna get the job?

I thought Simeone first, put money on it, regretting that move now. Would absolutely love Gnev to get it, so much so that I just tweeted him asking him to take it!

Van Gaal seems the only option.

Because hard as it is for people to believe United aren't the biggest club in the world and bar a sacking I don't see Ancelotti leaving Real or Klopp/Simeone leaving their clubs.

It does exactly. There's no pull.

If Barca or Real came for Klopp or Simeone would they say no? Not many do and I think they'd go in an instant not the same at United.

I am not sure you are right about that.

Whatever you think of Man U it is hard to deny that they are one of the biggest and most well-known clubs in the world.

The idea of coming in and taking the club over when it is in a big slump and building the best actual team in the world could be a huge temptation. The money is there and the brand is there.

To be honest time will tell.

Last year Mourinho/Guardiola's names were bandied about United got Moyes.

              So we will see.

I like Conte of Juventus but again I can't see United getting him.

He was a highly decorated player at Juventus now very successful manager. Be interesting to see how Giggs does but he won't get it long term after the last balls up e.g. Moyes.

It is a hit, but I will do it next week with other transfers so -4 this week or -4 next week makes no difference. If my rivals didn't have Mata I'd stick with Gerrard this week but the fact they all have him, means I might bring him in. My gut says Gerrard scores this week to win Liverpool the Premiership but my head says get Mata and block differentials from main rivals with the season so near a finish.
