Anybody know if there will be any FFS World Cup-related leagues or other goings-on?

We played the Euro U21 game last summer so I assume there'll be a world cup league 🙂

        Did many people get involved?

I imagine this place will be pretty active for the WC.

Gotta be Evra. Don't think we'll see Buttner again this season so Evra is nailed on. Jones could get rotated.

With Rafael back? But he could play in central midfield/central defence as well because I dont fancy the old stalwarts to play both the games

I don't fancy the two oldies to play all the games either. But Rafael/Smalling could come in at RB and Evans/Smalling could fill in at CB. Cant see Jones being deployed at CM as all our MFers are fit now. Besides there isnt really any need.

I agree but the feeling of confirming transfer(s) on a Saturday night after the fixtures is to hard to ignore for many(myself included). It was logical early in the season to catch price rises, but now it sounds stupid because you can throw team value out of the window at this stage of the season

I had just enough cash to make these changes as YAYA was rising and Mata was threatening to rise + I would want to make these changes anyways after Monday barring injuries.

Earlier this season I brought in Aguero for the subsequent GW and he pulled his hammy about 30 minutes later in the current GW game. And that was the second hamstring injury of the season for him, so I knew there was a risk. Still... I felt great for 29 minutes.

    Current team:
    Mannone* (Harper)
    Ivanovic Azpi Sagna (Olsson Ward)
    Mata* Nasri* Eriksen Mutch (Colback)
    Suarez Aguero* Dzeko*

1ft and 1m itb. Looking for a way in for Rooney.
    A. Suarez -> Rooney, then reverse in gw 38
    B. Dzeko + Eriksen + Ivanovic - > Rooney + Amalfitano+Jones (-8)
Leaning towards B cos it allows me to have Rooney and Suarez for run in and slightly worried about Dzeko playing time over the 3 fixtures.

I think Liverpool vs Newcastle has a reputation of high-scoring game. Anyway, Gerrard’s playing position is very low compared to Eriksen.

          Spurs vs Villa
          2013 .. 2-0
          2012 .. 2-0
          2011 .. 2-1
          2010 .. 0-0
          2009 .. 1-2

          Liverpool vs Newcastle
          2013 .. 1-1
          2012 .. 3-1
          2011 .. 3-0

How much fund left after Baines -> Jones?

Salah might have Norwich (H), but I may consider to upgrade him for someone likes AJ if Sunderland still have a hope to survive after today game.

Another option would be to retain both players I already have in those gaps (coleman and puncheon). That would make:

I'm eyeing Amalfitano. He's returned in four of the last five weeks (2 goals, 2 assists, 2 cleanies -> 31 points, average of 6.2 per game). In absolute terms, only six players have betters those returns over the same period (rooney, mata, puncheon, bony, poldi, eriksen).

    A - Lallana to Yaya

B - Eriksen to Nasri - this way I will have 7 same players like him and block him. Main differences would be him (Gerrard, Lambert) and Me (Ramsey, Aguero)

    A) 4.3 Def + Nasri for DGW37 and GW38 (benching Cork and Burner both weeks).
    B) Jones + Amalfitano for DGW37 dropping to the bench for Coleman and Puncheon in GW38.

RMT says B, by two points. What say you?
