i think there's a place for it, when there are bad injuries or a DGW where the players you're removing are deadweights anyway.
i've done some silly ones though, the ones you have that gut feeling before knowing its probably going to fail. but i've done some where i've been very confident of and they did work out. its those iffy ones that need to be removed.Open Controls

all my rivals have Suarez and Rooney. Only one doesn't have Kün, he has another injured forward. They also all have Ramsey. This means they all will both have and most likely captain Suarez last GW. Seen that I'm chasing a lead, desperately, will I do wise to choose Dzeko over Suarez as a differential? I would then have probably completely different front 3 than any rival.

I would maybe take a punt on Schurrle, Hazard or Eto and captain them. It is risky but may just work.

My current big differentials are Wickham and RVP. Think I'll keep them, but not getting Suarez in, right. Maybe Studge though. Or Dzeko. And Gerrard. That Chelsea punt may be a bit too risky. You really think they're still playing? Can't win anymore.

I just think the Cardiff defence is very poor and I can see Chelseas scoring a few. Obviously I cannot say for certain where the goals will be this weekend.
I would stick with RVP and Wickham and replace Rooney with one of these guys: Sturridge, Dzeko, Eto (risky) & Remy (if you think Pool will leak more goals)

About Chelski, I can see your point. But I already have Salah, who's not doing anything. I think, if anyone in that team, it is Schurrle who will score. Maybe doubling up with Ramsey -> Schurrle is better than Salah -> Schurrle though? But I think Gerrard may be essential too... tough one.

This is my first season so I don't know first hand what it is like but going on what has been said and what happened over this GW, it looks like picking XI players is a bit of a minefield.
I think the 2 teams you can most rely on to field strongest team are City and Liverpool.
