Sunday presents two further Premier League encounters with a variety of Fantasy heavy-hitters on show.

Events begin at Anfield, with Liverpool starting life without Luis Suarez with an encounter against a Southampton side ravaged by a summer exodus. It’s a fascinating scenario that’s set to feature an-all start case of assets, including Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling – players burdened by big Fantasy ownership and expectation. The Saints, meanwhile, arrive on Merseyside looking to gel quickly after a flurry of new arrivals under the guidance of new boss, Ronald Koeman.

The day concludes at St James’ Park, as Newcastle host champions City. Manuel Pellegrini will likely field a much-changed side to the XI that suffered a Community Shield reverse against Arsenal. Even so, Fantasy investment in the City ranks has been tempered, with Yaya Toure remaining the top target, finding his way into 20% of Fantasy Premier League squads. Like Southampton, Newcastle present us with an array of new signings to assess, making Sunday a vital opportunity to scout talent.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

De Jong, Tadic, Lallana, Henderson (if he rockets), Johnson, Siggi, Barkley, Eric, Lamela, Townsend, Coutinho..

SO many options to consider over the next GW for a potential bargain!

That's the point - U don't know that - Only got Eric, but de Jong and Tadic could explode considering their price tag - Henderson too. Even Barkley. I'm not saying they will, but the potential is def there. Remember Michu.

Michu came from Spain as the highest scoring midfielder in La Liga in the previous season.

Lamela has done absolutely nothing in the PL to suggest he is worth 5M let alone 8. Barkley is not only injured but an average FPL pick, Lallana is hurt, Townsend is shite...I could go on.

De Jong and tadic come as high scoring midfielders from eredevisie. Not the same as la liga but have proved themselves in holland. Just whether they can make the switch to England. I think cabella is better then any of them other then siggy and possibly coutinho if he starts firing.

Hence I didn't comment on them, haven't seen them play much and not sure how they will go. I don't think all the players on the list are shit, fwiw 🙂

All though he gave the ball away quite often he still looked the most likely to cause a problem for the opposition until Townsednd and Holtby came on.

Also it was obvious to see he was clearly carrying out Pochetinos famous high press tactics.

I expect him to keep his place as the number 10 for the next match
