Clichy over Kolarov for pace. Could go either way though
Look about right?Open ControlsDemichelis over Mangala if he isn't fit..
Open ControlsFernando over Fernandinho as well
Open ControlsIs Fernando or Fernandinho first choice? Not that it really matters
Open ControlsWould be a slight surprise to see Kun get the start after just 10 minutes the other day. I would think he is more likely to see either a sub on at halftime or get 30 minutes off the bench than receive a start. I think Jovetic has one more game due to him as a result. Also would anticipate Mangala to walk right into the side as I assume he has been fit and in training before the transfer went through.
Open Controls
Triggerlips scored 79.
He started Chester.
And he owns Fabregas.
I give up.Open ControlsNothing new.
How'd you do Tina?Open ControlsOuch Chester first sub.
Onward and upward. I benched Michu for his GW1 haul 2 years ago... 15pts as well I think.Open ControlsAt least you get the price rises.
Open ControlsBurns my ring. Saturday morning trannie....

Feck.Open ControlsBTW, what you think about our Senegoal friend Lateriser not playing FPL?
Open Controls
Am I the only one who thinks that Sterling is a better option that both Fab and Mata? He played as a supporting striker the other day and could cause mayhem against City and Spurs given their counter attacking play
Open ControlsThan*
Open ControlsFor the season or for the next game? I think he could outscore both over the season, but tough game in GW2 against city. He played in a very attacking position at the weekend and was higher up the pitch than Sturridge on many occasion (one being when he scored the goal).
Open ControlsOver the season yes, next two games not sure
Open Controls
Fixtures aren't that great. All three are good options and are in my team.
Open ControlsI'm seriously struggling deciding between him and Fabregas. Why did you vote for Fab when I asked a few pages back then? 🙂
Open ControlsI just saw his stats
Open ControlsBecause he's talking shite. 😉
Open ControlsGive me a break 🙂
Open ControlsLooks like it, check midfielders stats in the members are and sort by penalty are touches and attempts on goal.Sterling beats both hands down
Open ControlsArea*
Open ControlsOh I know. I watched the match. Was bigging him up last night. It's a shame Fab had to throw a spanner in there. His dribbles, like Hazard, will also make him a BAPS machine. At least I have one more day to decide I guess.
Also, check me out. First on the scene...

Hey guys first time commenting on here all the way from vancouver canada just wanted a quick rmt and any suggestions for gw2 thanks
Krul
koscielny collocini cahill
noble silva ramsey fabregas
rooney costa giroud
thanksOpen Controlsi have unlimited transfers aswell as my pool starts on gw2
Open ControlsInclude your bench for a complete view.
Noble is a bit of an odd-ball in your lineup. But if he converts his penalties (!) it may be worthwhile.
I generally would not want to double-up of the Newcastle defence, bit it's probably fine for this week. Last season, Villa had a worse record at home than on thd road.Open ControlsOh, unlimited transfers?
Then definitely avoid the Newcastle double-up. There are many other options at 4.5 (Chester, Rio, NTaylor, Kelly just to name a few).Open Controls
Getting away from the Fab/Mata discussion for a second, which two to play?
A. Chester (STK)
B. NTaylor (BUR)
C. Caulker (tot)
D. Pieters (hul)
Thanks!Open ControlsArsène Wenger hopeful that Arsenal will complete a £6m deal for Greek defender Kostas Manolas from Olympiakos. (Various)
Open ControlsCarlo Ancelotti admits Angel di Maria could leave Real Madrid this summer
“I don’t want to enter into this theme so I don’t lose focus on tomorrow’s game,” Ancelotti responded when asked about Di Maria’s future.
“Di Maria is available like all the others. He may or may not start the game and has opportunities, but like everyone else.
“What I won’t do is put out the same team in both legs. One team will play tomorrow and on Friday I will change it a little.
“I don’t know what Di Maria has decided. But I know that he’s training and that he could help us in tomorrow’s match. Until August 31 it will continue the same way and after that everything will be cleared up and things will return to normal.”Open Controls- Mata to Fabregas?
Here is my take on the Mata to Fabregas debate.
Last night I was planning to stay patient with Mata as he has the easiest run of fixtures all season coming up but I'm swaying towards making the change and here's why.
Fabregas will rise by 0.1m and Mata will fall by 0.1m definitely by Wednesday/Thursday night. We can expect another rise/fall on either Friday or Saturday (from transfers before the deadline), remember United play on Sunday so no way that Mata will be bought back on Saturday whereas Fabregas plays on Saturday and could rise even more. This means at the start of GW2 Mata will be 8.8m and Fabregas 9.2m definitely. So lets asses what could happen
1. Fabregas has another good game on Saturday after rising on Friday/Saturday. He will definitely rise again on Saturday/Sunday. If Fabregas rises on Friday he will also rise on Saturday in this instance before you even get to see Mata play. That will make Mata 8.8m and Fabregas 9.3m on Saturday night.
2. They both have a quiet game. Expect Fabregas to either remain the same or possibly rise. Expect Mata to fall as the punters feel knee-jerky, especially after seeing the gap on price which will be minimum 0.4m. Remember how many people look at Total Points, they will see Fabregas about 10 points ahead of Mata
3. They both have a good game. Expect both to rise but Fabregas more so as he will have a much higher Total Points, this is key to transfers
4. Mata does better than Fabregas. This can only happen on Sunday by which time the price difference will definitely be at least a 0.4m shift.
In the first 3 instances, it's obviously better to go for Fabregas. Even the 4th instance isn't too bad as you will have 9.1m to sell Fabregas and be able to buy Mata at 8.8m if you really want to.
Option 4 is the worst case scenario (bar injury/sending off) if you make the switch, at most a -4 hit and banking 0.3m. But think of the reverse, what if Fabregas has a blinder on Saturday, he will be 9.3m overnight whilst you're still waiting for Mata to play. That's 0.5m already, meaning that if you have 0 in the bank it will cost you 2 transfers to switch Mata to another 9m option and you've just lost out on valuable TV.
On top of this, United aren't going to transform in one week from the rubbish performance against Swansea, whereas Chelsea are full of confidence against possibly the easiest game of the season.
This is football and anything can happen but you need to look at the percentages and for me it seems like a no brainer making the switch. Worst comes to worse and Mata will score a mximum of 15 points more than fabregas (highly unlikely) and you will have just made 0.3m and maybe a -4 hit if you decide to buy Mata back. For me, that is worth the risk.Open ControlsBloody hell. didn't expect it to be that long. I should've just submitted an article
Open ControlsBut I shit with Hazard.
😕Open Controls*sit
Open ControlsShit was correct 😉
Open ControlsWhat about all the weaker links on your team. Shouldnt you be worrying more anout them rather than taking out a proven fantasy player like Mata?
Open ControlsI hope you are not talking to me?
I never said anything about Mata my friend.Open Controls
Great write-up - but you're not properly considering an equally important consideration: do we expect Fabregas to score better than Mata over the following game-weeks, not only GW2. Don't forget ManU has a very nice run of fixtures also after GW2 - and one could also argue that Brunely probably was an easeir match than Swansea.
Open ControlsLeicester is going to be much much easier than Sunderland though...
Open ControlsI have considered this but let's just look at the implications of GW2 first.
Open ControlsI do, personally. Haven't got either but the only 2 players I'm trying to work out how to get into my team are Fab (now) and Aguero (in a couple of weeks or so).
The only way I can do it is with a wildcard. I've got a pretty good squad but still I'm thinking of it, basically just cos of Fab. Did you see the pass for the 2nd goal? If you did, you surely wouldn't be asking the question.Open Controls
Nice analysis.
Watching the bloody price rise/fall tables is taking way too much of my time.
Was intent to save the FT, but the idea of making a quick 0.3 is pretty appealing.
Will have another day or so to stew on this.Open ControlsIts a long post that is only good if your team is otherwise perfect, i suspect nearly all of us have greater priorities than Mata to Fabregas
Open Controls
i'm debating the same, but mata for silva/ramsey. not so much for points, but for the price rice/drop. both will be out of reach if i don't act before the price changes
Open ControlsSilva won't rise. He's only at 19% right now. Rambo at 58.5%, likely to rise 0.1m. Sterling could rise 0.2m and Fabregas is on for a 0.2-0.3m rise.
Open Controlssounds about right. anyone rising anything will be out of reach, but i think i'll stick for now. promised myself not to take as many hits this year unless it was absolutely needed.
luckily i have sterling and fabregas 😀Open Controls
Mata to Ramsey or Fab is, I think, a no-brainer. Mata to Silva, not so sure about.
I think the ideal midfield at the moment looks something like Fab, Ramsey, Siggy, Sterling, Silva but of those I think Silva has the least appeal. Mata will surely come good over the next 4/5/6 weeks and regain any price fallOpen Controlsit's a tough one. i think silva is gonna do much better this year. he was wasteful last year, but he's pure quality. i doubt ramsey can keep scoring the way he has been, but i kept saying that all of last year too. i'll probably stick with mata as i feel he will score at least the same as silva/ramsey over the next 7. just hope that LVG feels like he needs to change things up and places mata on the bench
Open ControlsI think Silva is class and I'm sure he'll have a great year. There's a lot of quality in midfield this year though and it's going to be a question of picking the right mix. I decided to leave Fabregas out, but after yesterday's showing I'm regretting it now even though my midfield is pretty darn good.

thanksOpen ControlsWho are your subs?
Can you find any spare cash to upgrade Noble to Sigurdsson? For example swapping Cahill or Kosc for someone a bit cheaper? You'll get more benefit from a Siggy + Clyne, say, than a Noble + Cahill/Kosc, I think... not that I've got a crystal ball or anything. Who knows? We're all just guessing!Open Controls
Few quotes on what Marcos Rojo has supposedly said on the radio.
Marcos Rojo: "It's a dream to play for Manchester United. It wasn't easy leaving Sporting Lisbon."
"Juan Sebástian Verón told me about what it is to play for Manchester United. Tomorrow I travel and join the squad"
"It's a dream to come to Manchester United. A luxury that van Gaal will coach me".Open ControlsDid Veron have any good times at ManU? I only remember him being completely rubbish and over paid!
Open Controls
Hey,
Any thoughts on what to do here?
Just stick I think yeah?
De Gea (Gilks)
Naylor, Clyne, Cahill, (Wisdom, Pieters)
Lamela, Mata, Sigurdsson, Ramsey, (Marney)
Jovetic, Rooney, Costa.Open ControlsFabregas will be 9.3m on Sunday regardless of performance.
Open ControlsLooking to bring in Siggy and have 1.0m ITB......options are:
A) Hendo
B) Mutch
Thoughts appreciated guysOpen ControlsSo, what? You want to sell one of those two to bring in Siggy or want to bring one of those 2 in as well?
Whether you want to Buy or Sell is an important thing to clarify when asking for recommendations.Open Controls

Open ControlsWell looks like I should've just gone with my gut fro the start and not listened to you guys here 🙄
Hazard out Schurrle inOpen ControlsCraaaaaaazzzzyyyyy.
Open ControlsSchurrle's a top option IMO. Should've gone for him from the start but compare his stats to hazard's.

Are you the wife of the guy who posted a few pages back ? 😉

I'm just messing, my fault for not having the balls. Ultimately my decision, and I just made the wrong one! 🙂Open Controls- Open Controls

Open Controls
If you follow your gut you'll just end up with shit.
Open Controls
I need a 5.5 million midfielder would you go noble or arteta considering they both take pas?
Open ControlsI'm sorry but did someone just submit a long post about the Mata to Fabregas debate? I'm sure you're still reading it hence the lack of replies
Open ControlsHello Dead Zoners,
Start Bego or Krul??Open ControlsBego is the slim fav for CS so him perhaps.
Open Controlsmmhm... i thought NewC did well defensively vs city...
Open Controls
In the same predicament. Bego just for me as Hull will play on Thursday night and are without Long and maybe even Snodgrass. I can't see them scoring in open play without them two.
Open Controls
It would cost me -8 to get in Fabregas as I already did Mata > Silva early to get in City coverage.
Transfers would be:
Lamela > Fab
Bojan > 4.5
Worth it?Open ControlsLong time lurker first time poster, need help getting Siggy in
Foster,Krul
Ivanovic, Debuchy, Caulker, Wisdom, Duff
Ramsey, Mata, Eriksen, Young, Wanyama
Rooney, Costa, Giroud
zero bank, was going to do
Caulker to Clyne
Young to Siggy
but Siggy rose already. Any ideas, cheersOpen ControlsOr drop Ivanovic. Drastic, but what can you do?
Open Controls
So much for no hits to start the season....
It's so hard when the players you were agonising over and then left out are the ones who score well week one (Siggy, Fab).
Was trying to be patient and do
Mata, Erik, Haz, Zamora -> Fab, Siggy, Albrighton, Aguero
Over say 4 weeks, but looks like I might have to do it over 2 given price rises...
UrghOpen ControlsThoughts on shurrle for a cheaper option imot Chelsea midt han fan. How much will he play?
Open Controlshe could be a cheaper alternative ofcz if he retains his place... He did well yesterday, so will retain his place for the next few matches i guess... but willian, salah all are threats... could get subbed off early too if things dont go well..

Open Controls
Just GW1 and i dont why is everyone starting to tinker there teams as if there current team players wont be performing in any....its burnley againt who fab got points....atleast wait for few
Open ControlsFabregas showed enough quality to tell me he can do it against anyone. Did you watch the game? Chelsea first half were brilliant and Burnley were no push-overs.
Open Controls
Pre-season bandwagon failures? Obviously they aren't fully failures yet and could get massive hauls in GW 2, but yeah 🙂
- Luis
- Young
- Bojan
- Jovetic
CheersOpen ControlsLuis was a bandwagon?
Open ControlsNot a massive one, but I'd say so.
Open Controls
Austin mega-fail. Could have been the hero.
Open ControlsAh yes, forgot him. Thanks Acqua. Remy looks a top option up front for QPR.....unlucky not to score against Hull.
Open Controls
I've been warning people about Luis for weeks, says he with his own defensive issues waiting to happen 😆
Open ControlsNo Mata? No Hazard?
Open Controls
Should i take -4 hit for Mata - Fabregas ? I held off on him because i wasn't sure where he would be played but assuming he played CAM right ?
Already did Marney - Siggy.I know problems may come up with points on the bench but i'm happy to do this trade then Eriksen or Henderson.
