With Gameweek 1 concluded, it’s time to delve a little deeper into the data in our first “Big Numbers” article for members of the campaign. We analyse the display of Arsenal’s new wide man against Palace, the QPR front pairing at home to Hull, Liverpool’s ever-improving youngster, Southampton’s delivery under Ronald Koeman and United’s weekend scorer in the 2-1 home loss to Swansea.
If Liverpool don't sign another ST I can see Rodgers developing Sterling into a ST. Not bad for 8.5M.
Open ControlsI would say Shh but he is owned by over a million people anyway so what's the point.
Open ControlsSterling will never be a 9
Open ControlsI agree, although it is hard to argue that his positioning on Sunday was not as advanced or even more advanced (at times) than Sturridge.
Ridiculous that a midfielder can get that far forward, although I'm not complaining 😉Open ControlsI'm not sure if that will continue though. The Saints completely cut off the central line, and Clyne was bombing on, so that's where the space was. I just think that was a tactically astute Brendan Rodgers, rather than something that might continue.
Open Controls
They are currently trying to sign Falcao from Monaco.

a) Luis -> Azpi
b) Take 4pt hit
DDG & Luis -> Cortois & Clyne + £0.5Open ControlsWhat's the best option?
A) O'Shea -> Chester
B) Save FTOpen ControlsAtletico Madrid are stifling Real Madrid fairly easily in this game... all that money...
Open ControlsWho to bench out of this lot for this GameWeek?
Bojan (hul), Ward (WHU), Jones (sun)Open ControlsJones cuz United are shit.

How about this for an idea....
Rambo (Everton & City)
Fab (Lei & Swan)
Transfer Rambo for Fab for those 2 weeks, than back in GW4 (City v Chelsea) ?
Prize rise caught and better fixtures ??Open ControlsAssuming Chambers start against Everton (Mert wasn't even on the bench tonight), would you start him over Hutton?
Open ControlsHey EVs-welcome back to another season!
I've got a Fabregas shaped dilemma. Currently have Mata, Haz, Zamora (benched)-and think I want to turn that into Fab, Marney (or whoever), Aguero.
Will require 2 x 4point hits though plus means losing mata this week.
Thoughts? Forget the plan and stick with Juan?Open ControlsStick with Juan. Decent fits plus you have Hazard.
Stop that knee from twitching....Open Controls
cheers, after tonight there's a chance he might start. He had a class game.
Open Controls
I'd fancy Newcastle to score.
Open ControlsDebuchy Mertesacker Koscielny Monreal
Will be the likely back four.Open ControlsI'd be very surprised if everton don't score.
Open ControlsArsenal defence looks sharp, barring your weekly Koscielny blunder.
Open Controls
Should I feel good having mata and fab?
Open ControlsThinking of 4 pt hit already.
Johnson to Siggy and Gerrard to Fabs. Mind you after this week Liverpool have got lovely run of fixtures.Open ControlsMata performance vs Swansea:
1 header
1 tackle
1 shotOpen Controls1 gameweek, Chris.
Could be completely different tis weekend.Open ControlsCould be, but I'd rather use the facts I have to hand, than the made up thoughts we create to suit our needs.
Open ControlsI don't have Mata so I have no reason to favour him over Fabs.
My point is that you got Mata for a reason and he has nice fixtures. For all we know Utd might go out and completely rip up Sunderland this weekend.
Fabs will get points for sure but Chelsea strike me as being a team who will be happy to win games 1-0 or 2-0 whereas teams like City and Utd like to score a shedload when they're on top.
No one knows what's going to happen this weekend, that's why they play the games.Open Controls
Still - one header and one shot more than Fabregas. Its useless picking these random individual stats out, they serve as no basis for a true comparison.
At least this one provides more of a complete picture Chris:

Any tips on improving ?Open ControlsEarlier today, someone asked who will score more points over the season between Hazard and Fabregas.
The replies were all Hazard with one saying Hazard by 50 points gap at least.
Not saying it wont be Hazard but in his last full FPL season, Fabregas scored 15 and assisted 15 with 214 points. 2 seasons earlier he got 205 points with 7 goals 20 assists.
Hazards best score so far is 202 points. Sort of makes a mockery of the 50 point gap comment really.
More realistically, how do people predict these 2 will score over the season? As in,points total.Open ControlsFabregas has a very different role now though...
Open ControlsNot too far apart.
However, its about timing. When you own them.
For example, a couple of years back, Hazard started the season strong and was in great form. Then, Mata hit form and Hazard dropped off a little. You would get much greater points owning then during their purple patches.Open Controls2010/11 1880 3 13 8 20 0 0 1 5 0 0 28 0 0 £11.7 128
Try and get it right.Open ControlsThat was a full Season. Wenger was starting to understand what a prat he is.
Open Controls
I think Cesc will get very close to 200, but not quite IMO
Open Controls
Right; think I've narrowed down what I'm trying to do:
A) Mata & Hazard
VS
B) Aguero & Fabregas
(Over the medium term)Open ControlsSo did everyone decide on Cahill v terry?
Open ControlsEmotions running high on here tonight. I'll hideout in the members area for a few days until the topic of discussion is actually fantasy football.

SOME1 PLZ ANSWER!Open ControlsCaptain for gw2?
Open ControlsDzeko to start at the weekend and destroy Liverpool?
Open ControlsI expect he will start . He was the man last season and Aguero has not started a game all year . Capable of anything on his day and don't forget he is even better off the bench . In conclusion well worth the risk
Open Controls
Whos captaining siggy over fab?
