With Gameweek 1 concluded, it’s time to delve a little deeper into the data in our first “Big Numbers” article for members of the campaign. We analyse the display of Arsenal’s new wide man against Palace, the QPR front pairing at home to Hull, Liverpool’s ever-improving youngster, Southampton’s delivery under Ronald Koeman and United’s weekend scorer in the 2-1 home loss to Swansea.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

If Liverpool don't sign another ST I can see Rodgers developing Sterling into a ST. Not bad for 8.5M.

I agree, although it is hard to argue that his positioning on Sunday was not as advanced or even more advanced (at times) than Sturridge.

Ridiculous that a midfielder can get that far forward, although I'm not complaining 😉

I'm not sure if that will continue though. The Saints completely cut off the central line, and Clyne was bombing on, so that's where the space was. I just think that was a tactically astute Brendan Rodgers, rather than something that might continue.

Hey EVs-welcome back to another season!

I've got a Fabregas shaped dilemma. Currently have Mata, Haz, Zamora (benched)-and think I want to turn that into Fab, Marney (or whoever), Aguero.

Will require 2 x 4point hits though plus means losing mata this week.

Thoughts? Forget the plan and stick with Juan?

I don't have Mata so I have no reason to favour him over Fabs.

My point is that you got Mata for a reason and he has nice fixtures. For all we know Utd might go out and completely rip up Sunderland this weekend.

Fabs will get points for sure but Chelsea strike me as being a team who will be happy to win games 1-0 or 2-0 whereas teams like City and Utd like to score a shedload when they're on top.

No one knows what's going to happen this weekend, that's why they play the games.

Still - one header and one shot more than Fabregas. Its useless picking these random individual stats out, they serve as no basis for a true comparison.

At least this one provides more of a complete picture Chris:

Earlier today, someone asked who will score more points over the season between Hazard and Fabregas.

The replies were all Hazard with one saying Hazard by 50 points gap at least.

Not saying it wont be Hazard but in his last full FPL season, Fabregas scored 15 and assisted 15 with 214 points. 2 seasons earlier he got 205 points with 7 goals 20 assists.

Hazards best score so far is 202 points. Sort of makes a mockery of the 50 point gap comment really.

More realistically, how do people predict these 2 will score over the season? As in,points total.

          Not too far apart.

However, its about timing. When you own them.

For example, a couple of years back, Hazard started the season strong and was in great form. Then, Mata hit form and Hazard dropped off a little. You would get much greater points owning then during their purple patches.

Cheers. Yeah great result for Rambo owners with no concerns about an injury next week

He was picked on by a corrupt ref.

          Poor Aaron 😥

Ah this is brilliant. Atletico and Real are just kicked the living hell out of each other now. Definitely fun to watch if anyone's interested.

I expect he will start . He was the man last season and Aguero has not started a game all year . Capable of anything on his day and don't forget he is even better off the bench . In conclusion well worth the risk
