Dugout Discussion – Everton vs Arsenal

Saturday’s schedule concludes with the headline act. Arsenal make the trip to Goodison Park looking to build on the stuttering 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on the opening day. The Toffees meanwhile, will also be looking to improve on their first showing, having been pegged back to 2-2 by newly promoted Leicester a week ago.

Arsene Wenger rings the changes with a few surprises. He welcomes back two of his German contingent as Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker return to the starting lineup. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also starts, while Nacho Monreal comes in for Kieran Gibbs at the back. Santi Cazorla and Laurent Koscielney drop to the bench, with Calum Chambers retaining his start at the back. Olivier Giroud again starts from the bench with Alexis Sanchez set to be fielded in a central attacking role.

Roberto Martinez also tweaks his lineup with Seamus Coleman and Kevin Mirallas drafted in – John Stones and Aiden McGeady make way.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Di Maria price if he signs for United? £10m?

    Who would bring him in?

Only after I see a turnaround from United. Sanchez has taught me a valuable lesson 🙁

I'd definitely wait before buying him. But if he's anything like he was in La Liga, I'd get him

Giroud gets so much stick on here. He's an excellent footballer.

Schurrle is just a pain to own. You know he will get subbed, or that he won't be a starting choice for Jose. And still he scores the odd goal... but probably not enough to warrant owning him for a season.

Krul looks like a good Gk to play every week for about 7 weeks.

Gotta downgrade Bego to a 4.5 to get a Southampton defender in. Likely chambers to Clyne.

2 FTs. May be a good solution.
