Why did Match of the Day have a piece of analysis on Diego Costa? Found it strange myself as he was largely anonymous today yet Alan Shearer was going on like he was setting the world alight. It was only when Gary Lineker reminded him that Jose Mourinho himself had said he didn't have a great game that Shearer then backtracked.
Had they really watched the game they'd have noticed the likes of Ivanovic or Hazard and pulled together a piece of analysis on them instead, especially the former.
