I was reading some articles on the Barcelona Football Blog (a blog I really enjoy) and in one of the articles they describe Alexis as an assister- not really a number 9. I tend to agree and see him as more of an attacking technical winger than a forward or a striker. Barcelona played a lot of football last year, where they lacked attacking edge and, based on the way they play, a lot of the responsibility for this is on their wide forwards like Alexis. I think people who think he's a bargain because he's oop will be disappointed. Walcott is more of a goal threat imo.

Had Baines from the start last year, but spurned him for a cheaper defence this time around....
Now mithering over stiffening my defence.
Just done Chambers to Clyne and thinking Ivan might be worth squeezing in sooner than later.
Had a better start than usual so tempted to burn the 4 points. Last year I had to WC early to realign my team, but going to get away with a few hits and holding the WC this time around.
