Sunday serves up a trio of Gameweek encounters, with Thursday’s Europa League ties pushing Hull and Tottenham’s home fixtures alongside Man United’s trip to the Stadium of Light.

Events begin at the KC Stadium and White Hart Lane, with Steve Bruce’s Hull hosting Stoke and Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs facing a London derby clash with QPR. Fantasy managers will be focused mainly on the latter, with Christian Eriksen the top owned asset on show from the early kick-offs.

Attention then turns to the North East, with Louis van Gaal’s United outfit taking on Sunderland in a bid to get their season underway following the opening day defeat to Swansea. With a staggering 48% ownership, Wayne Rooney remains the headline act, while Juan Mata’s 19% ownership will be holding out for returns in order to stem a tide of sales that have already seen the Spanish playmaker drop in price.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I think another Man U loss would cheer a few people up! 😀 C'mon Sunderland!

Not when mata is coming in for a brace today. Actually nah, they can lose 3-2 - that would cheer me up 🙂

Very much involved in all of this. Chances left and right, although the ball seems to be getting eaten up in his feet when the attack is on the move (which is often).

Spurs must be devastated the got rid of 'Arry. They were a much better side. Too late now. You can't have him back. He's ours. #QPR

          12 years, 2 months ago

well according to my good self and nothing else really.
Harry had a good season with Spurs, but I think what Pochettino achievewd with Southampton was more impressive, and he looks to be a step above AvB and Sherwood with Spurs.

Redknaop proven himself over 30 years, Pochetino had a good 18 months
Bit knee jerk to day he's a class above him as a manager cos he's 3-0 up right now

The Chester red card is so annoying. Not just the points, but I was going to watch the Hull Stoke game on my phone and now with Begovic conceding already there's no reason to bother.

Who do you think, barring injury, will be the mainstays in your team throughout the season, I know it's hard to predict now, but I know everyone has their favourites.

      Rooney and Ramsey

Eriksen vs Lamela is exactly like Hazard vs Fabregas post GW1. Just because he scored better today, quality FPL managers know that Eriksen will significantly outscore him long-term. 😉

    1. VougieDipond
      12 years, 2 months ago

Lamela is a fantastic player. He has more goal threat than eriksen as well

      1. vice
        12 years, 2 months ago

No he's not. He's shite. Eriksen is class.

    2. LouKay
      12 years, 2 months ago

I'd like him to grab some of the points today simply to absorb his share of the TOT incoming transfer fest.

    3. mosiki
      12 years, 2 months ago

Lamela is class, very under rated simply because he had a bad injury prone previous season, he'll shine this year. Obviously safety approach would sway people towards Eriksen, very similar scoring potential I think. Not much will happen at spurs without one of them being involved.

Chester red flagged will see the memories flooding back. 😆
