    2 FTs, 0.5 itb

    Begovic
    Taylor Clyne Cahill
    Eriksen Mata Ramsey Sigurdsson
    Dzeko Rooney Costa

    Subs: Given Chester Albrighton Moore

Any suggestions what to do? Begovic is the one I'm thinking about as he has City away next and hasn't been a top pick so far, but has nice fixtures afterwards and can't see any better choices at the moment. Wouldn't like to upgrade Given just for the next GW either..

Who's more nailed on? Duff or Wisdom?
Think I'll replace Chester with a 4.0 (which will leave me with 1.5) , then I can do Mutch -> De Jong or Rooney -> Aguero next week.

    Green
    Jones, Naylor, Coloccini
    Mutch, Sigurdsson, Ramsey, Mata
    Costa, Sturridge, Rooney
    Murphy, Ward-Prowse, van Aanholt, Chester

Do you expect Rooney/Mutch to drop this week?

I have made a spreadsheet that analyses players and helps you identify which are the best players to pick regarding form and value for money. It also shows you all scorers and assisters and what team they done it against. In addition it has all the results to date and all goals conceded.

It is totally upto date and I will try my best to keep it that way throughout the season.

Please feel free to use my spreadsheet and provide feedback or suggestions on how it could be improved or any errors you may find. I am also happy to answer any questions if you are unsure of something.

      1. RabMac

If you go to one of the calculations tabs you will see these tabs:

PPG - This is points per game (the higher the better)
PPM - Points Per Million - this indicates who is best value for money ( the higher the better)
PPMPG - Points Per Million Per Game - This is a better indicator of who is best value for money.
Points 4 Weeks - This shows how many points the player has scored over last 4 weeks - so helps you see who is in form
Performance Indicator - This checks a players points over last 4 weeks and compares it with a key performance indicator - it can have 3 values = low, average and high. You want to make sure all the players in your team have high performance indicator, which will increase the chance of you getting a high score each week.

        Hope this helps.

      Noob question here:

What's the best way to use the FWD/MID/DEF calculations?

      1. RabMac
        • 12 Years
        11 years, 11 months ago

I usually check a players form using Points 4 Weeks and Performance Indicator to identify who are the best players to get. Once I have highlighted a pool of good players I then check their fixtures to help me decide who to get.

The idea is you want someone who is currently on form and has a nice run of fixtures.

The performance indicator column also allows you to check if your current players are performing below average, average or above average which shows you who you should be transferring.

    Wild card time.

    5 changes:

Begovic, Chester, chambers, bojan and Rooney

    To

Mannone, dier, dummett, Naismith and aguero.

Begovic has great fixtures after city. Chester only a one game ban, Rooney has great fixtures with RvP back, di Maria on the way. Chambers and Bojan yes, get rid.

Dier, don't fancy personally, aguero is made of glass, need convinced he's not gonna limp off after twenty mins before I'd invest.

Not convinced by your picks tbh.

Chambers to coloccini and Bojan to Naismith. Save the wildcard.

Quite a lot of people seem to use their wildcard now, tempted to do the same...

Don't use it just because others are

True, but I've been wanting to use it, and seeing others doing it as well makes it extra tempting

You'll see quite a lot of people using their wildcard every week. Use yours depending on whether your team needs it or not.

"Quite a lot of people"...I've not checked the numbers but if 250,000 people use this site I wouldn't be surprised...unless your team is a total wreck save your WC until after the transfer deadline at the very least

Okay, think my team its fine for now - so I'll try and save as long as possible

I used my wildcard at this stage last year.

Not even near using it this year just yet.

Holding on for that DGW... this will be tough.

Thanks, hopefully he does well tomorrow, though it is Liverpool.

Imo he is nailed on until Negredo is back. They won't play both Jovetic and Aguero at the same time.

Thanks, I think that's right.. looks like JJovetic might get the shaft then... Dzeko probably likely to get most minutes too.

Young & Chambers -> McGeady & Dummett? Good idea or not?

    Team atm looks like this:

    Krul, Bego
    Debuchy, Chambers, Chester, Hutton, PVA
    Sterling, Ramsay, Mata, Fabregas, Young
    Bojan, Rooney, Costa.

    Cheers lads

Dummett is nailed until November and Martinez has apparently said that he's backing McGeady to do really well and is only helped by Pienaar being injured.
