As always, our first members article of the week delves into the data from the previous batch of fixtures. This time around, the displays of Chelsea’s wide men, Liverpool’s lone forward, Southampton’s new playmaker and the Hammers’ attacking improvement all come under analysis.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Example - first paragraph of Malky article is an awkwardly punctuated run on sentence. Try to avoid that.

Example 2 - the FA could take a "retrospective" look at suspected diving incidents but bans would then be "retroactive"

That's true, this doesn't work. The only one who receives votes is basically the first one and the other people will just go along with the flow. They should do something to give everyone a chance to be "the champion" and to receive votes.

Yes, that's the point. I'm saying that the scouts should do something to give more visibility to their post and therefore to the comments with the users' picks.

Its not really the first one. Its the first one who is a 'popular' member of the community. Which at first glance doesnt seem bad, but in fact just serves to make this place even more cliquey than it currently is.

It would be much more useful to have blind submission of entries to be voted for, for example.

Eriksen and Ivanovic should not be there

      1. The Sarjeant
        • 12 Years
        11 years, 4 months ago

Why shouldn't they? Eriksen's got some great stats and Liverpool have a poor defence.

Chelsea can keep clean sheets against any team, plus he has a lot of attacking threat.

Good long term options for that gameweek there are better options. Othere defenders more likely to get CS and better picks than Eriksen. Liverpool defense is not the best but not the worst either. Anyway those 2 players are the reason I cannot upvote your team

61 which is decent considering I got the square root of bugger all from my strikers.

Brought in Jovetic for Diouf last night. Plan on Bego>Forster as well.

        Stoke ruining my team. 🙁

I had 49 only, things didn't go as well 🙁

Great changes. Doubling up on the Soton defense? Krul tempts me as well 🙂

I dumped Mutch and Studge for Sterling and Jovetic 🙂

Ah well. Onwards and upwards, eh. 😀

I don't have Clyne which makes Forster that much more enticing.

Like your moves but still think selling Studge and keeping Costa might bite you.

I would definitely pull the trigger then, no brainer really 😎

The problem is I'm not sure how the Balo factor will effect him. If he goes berserk, I could downgrade DDG to Krul and get him or Balo in for Costa 😀

So after another GW, what are your thoughts about Costa as a captain choice? So far he's lost me some ground with his single goals, and I'm thinking of avoiding him as a captain. That said, I didn't watch the last game, did he look like he could've gotten a couple?

    1. XhakaCan
      • 11 Years

He could be fairly consistent though, which could make him one of the more reliable captaincy options.

it's always annoying to see another player in your team (or worse, in you opponent's team) score better than your captain, but to get a single goal from your captain shouldn't be disappointing. if you can keep that up for the season you will surely end up with a good score

I started the season pretty well, I'm on 123 points but made a stupid snap decision sunday while I was bored and subbed Jovetic and Bojan out (thinking neither would be scoring/getting 90 mins!) for Aguero (who I thought was fully fit now and replacing Jovetic!) and Naismith.

Stupid stupid decisions that will cost me!! ah well.

It was silly to do it when you did, the day before the match, but I actually think that is a decent transfer. Aguero + Naismith > Jovetic and Bojan

He is a bit of a permacrock TBF. Sakho is absolutely awful though. Find it so ironic when the ABUs talk about our CBs.

Check Varane - Sakho. Sakho is Liverpool's best defender, by far.

Yeh say 20 assists and 4 goals in 30 matches thats 80 + 20 + 60, so 160 points. Points are about 20 per million over the season so 8.0 is about right.

fpl wise though he had a much worse season than sanchez.

          sanchez 34 games 19 goals 10 assists = 106 attacking points
          di maria 34 games 4 goals 17 assists = 67 attacking points

I suppose, but Di Maria at United is a much more important cog than Di Maria at Real. Whereas at for Sanchez at Arsenal/Barca it's closer as Arsenal have a pretty class squad (at least in attack).

This is quoted from another site ...The person behind the FISO price change tool said that FPL has now hidden the data needed to predict price changes.

When asked when it is likely to go back to normal he said he doesn't expect it to.

He also said that the current TFPL data is not accurate.
