Gameweek 3 gets underway with a lunchtime encounter between Burnley and troubled United. Having lost their first two matches, the Clarets are desperate to get points on the board and will certainly be buoyed by the current form of today’s opponents, as Louis van Gaal’s side stumble from one poor result to another.

With Angel di Maria poised to make his debut for the visitors, though, Fantasy owners of United’s attackers have a renewed sense of optimism for the Turf Moor meet. Captain Poll favourite Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie are all more than capable of delivering in emphatic fashion and could be set to benefit from the Argentine’s arrival.

Following this one, we have five matches to savour at 3pm before Everton host Chelsea in the evening kick-off at Goodison.

          Exactly! I'm not a Man U fan but this is disappointing to watch. I hope LVG is given the time to make the players fit his philosophy and style of playing. Unlucky he has so many injuries which doesn't allow him to play his 433

      Di Maria's long ball to RVP reminded me of the old days of Song over the top to RVP. Except then RVP would have scored.
