Gameweek 3 gets underway with a lunchtime encounter between Burnley and troubled United. Having lost their first two matches, the Clarets are desperate to get points on the board and will certainly be buoyed by the current form of today’s opponents, as Louis van Gaal’s side stumble from one poor result to another.

With Angel di Maria poised to make his debut for the visitors, though, Fantasy owners of United’s attackers have a renewed sense of optimism for the Turf Moor meet. Captain Poll favourite Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie are all more than capable of delivering in emphatic fashion and could be set to benefit from the Argentine’s arrival.

Following this one, we have five matches to savour at 3pm before Everton host Chelsea in the evening kick-off at Goodison.

    Very disappointing that Burnley failed to score.

    Why do I keep benching defenders with good scores? First Clyne, then Coloccini, now Jones and Duff.

    But at least I didn't captain Rooney. Ramsinho ftw!

    What's the max number of transfers you'd need to make to justify a WC? I was hoping to hold out until the next international break, but with Mata going down, Dzeko losing his place to Aguero, and United on the road to relegation... let's just say I'm getting an itchy trigger finger.
