We go up against Paddy with a tenner in hand once again and seek inspiration from the Scout Picks and Differentials in our attempt to bring home the cash.

We start at Loftus Road where QPR welcome Sunderland later this afternoon. Scout Pick Steven Caulker has already registered six attempts inside the box in just two appearances, and with Paddy prepared to offer 20/1 on a Caulker goal and QPR clean sheet, we’re willing to place our faith in his attacking instincts and shell out £3 for the Loftus Road encounter.

Next stop is the Etihad, where champions City take on Stoke. Having scored twice from the bench in recent matches, we’re going to stick our necks out and back Sergio Aguero to deliver yet again. The Argentine is pushing for a start against the Potters, and with Paddy offering 6/1 on Aguero to score two or more and City to chalk up a clean sheet, we’re making this our bet of the Gameweek, throwing £4 their way.

Our final £3 is kept for West Ham’s home match against Southampton. Summer signing Mauro Zarate grabbed a goal on his first start last weekend, and with Kevin Nolan injured, looks to have nailed down the role in “the hole” for Sam Allardyce’s side. Paddy are offering a massive 50/1 for the little Argentine to score two or more and for the hosts to keep a clean sheet – we fancy a punt on this one and part company with our final £3.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

It's tight in the big work league with just 13 pts between myself in 11th and top spot.

Only 1 person above me also has Rooney(c), so a double figure haul today puts me in with a good shot at winning Manager of the Month.

I've just realised that Man United will have signed three left backs this window in Shaw, Rojo and Blind!

I know they're versatile players but naturally they're all left backs aren't they? United should just play their players in their default position!

Rojo is a centre-back & Blind spent all of last season in defensive midfield...

I have no idea about Blind although Van Gaal favoured him at left back in the world cup... As for Rojo I refuse to believe he's a centre back, he's about as much a centre back as Micah Richards or Andre Wisdom as far as I'm concerned!

What do you mean you refuse to believe it? He's a left sided centre back... He played there for his clu. Blind played at DM for Ajax for a good chunk of last season. Believe the unbelievable

    Man Utd -1 at 7/5
    Rooney hattrick at 25/1
Di Maria to get an assist at 5/2
    Mata to score at 13/5

I'm staking my FFS points on this game, might as well have a few pennies on it too as I'll be watching.

Arsenal have tabled an improved £21.3 million bid for Carvalho & are increasingly hopeful of signing him before Monday
(Wayne from Goal.com ) but hope its true

I'd think Rabiot is more likely at this stage.

Rabiot is off to Roma I think

I saw someone post that he is off there, but I've had nothing more than interest from what I've seen. Di Marzio is good. Especially with Serie A. His agent, his mother, was in London yesterday apparently as well.

Only time will tell, but getting nobody is probably most likely. 😆

Sometimes I wonder if these goal.com writers even think before they write

People still dismiss Ramsey even now, what more does he has to do to prove himself?

Guilty conscience over captaining this sounds like.

not in the slightest. He's been my captain all week. I've just heard stuff like Rasmey doesn't score, Ramsey is too risky, Ramsey has no upside

It seems like even now, people are still not wanting to accept what's plainly obvious. Ramsey has stepped up a gear to try and emulate Cesc

Dismiss him for what? He's my captain!
