We target a trio of players with plum home matches on their agendas this weekend in our attempt to get the better of Paddy.

Our first stop is at Selhurst Park as Neil Warnock prepares for the first home match of his second stint at the helm. Having grabbed a late equaliser off the bench in the last Gameweek, Wilfried Zaha looks poised for a start as Palace entertain promoted Burnley, and with Paddy offering 8/1 on Zaha to score and the hosts to keep a clean sheet, we’re willing to throw £3 their way.

Next up we head to St Mary’s, where Ronald Koeman’s side go in search of their first home win of the season. The Saints’ 3-1 victory at West Ham in the previous Gameweek certainly suggests they are finding their form, and with a goal in each of his last two in all competitions, Graziano Pelle has caught the eye. Paddy are offering 16/1 on Pelle to score two or more against Newcastle and the Saints to chalk up a second clean sheet in succession in front of their own supporters – we fancy a punt on this one and shell out another £3.

We leave our final £4 for Liverpool’s Anfield clash with Villa. The absence of Daniel Sturridge will be sorely felt by the Merseysiders and instantly hands Mario Balotelli the chance to shine in front of his own supporters – with Paddy willing to offer 6/1 on Balotelli to score two or more goals and Brendan Rodgers’ side to bag a clean sheet, we place our faith in the Italian and make this our bet of the week.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Last gameweek I sold Costa like a good few people on here so deciding not to listen to the Sterling rumours.. Have Siggy to come in for Ramsey, Diouf or Sterling if they dont play!!

    Begovic (Myhill)
Lovren // Terry // Chester (Moore // Naylor)
Hazard // Sterling // Ramsey // Lamela (Siggy)
    Diouf // Rooney // Welbeck

Even if we did get to see them it would be madness going for Pelle/Mario 2 goals + a CS.. dunno any gambler who'd fall for this. just getting an AGS is tough as it is.. Add another goal and a CS to it and it's pure madness

For those unsure wether or not to get Boyd and that he'll be first choice.

Been reading some articles on Boyd and wether he's a likely starter. He was bought for his creativity and league experience, and equals the club's record fee paid for Steven Fletcher (£3m). Dyche has been full of praise for him and stated that he always wanted the player and had he known Boyd was available earlier, he would have completed the deal before deadline day.

Whilst other new signings Keane and Chalobah aren't certain to start due to a lack of training, Boyd has spent a longer time training and seems the only likely to feature against Palace. Dyche added:

“The two young lads have only just got in so obviously I'll be thinking a little bit more flexibility with them.
“But Boyd is a mature player and has been around for 10 days now so he's got a real feel about how we operate and what we do.”

Sounds like Boyd might make his debut today and seems a viable option as our fifth midfielder considering he's only 4.4 mil.

It's not madness... Just risky. There's no doubt he gets the chances and I think he'll continue to get them but it's whether he'll put them away... I'd fancy a big hitter instead.

      1. BigManBakar
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Thanks, the point is I don't really fancy my big hitters this week

        -Rooney,out of form
        -Costa/Sterling, doubts
        -Fabregas, not enough goal potential
        -Ramsey, tough fixture

Hence, I'm tilting towards Pelle. His stats are incredible. He is nailed for 90 minutes and has scored in the last 2. Do you reckon Saints will score at least a couple against Newcastle?

        1. Lucy.

If you're referring to Milwall as one of those last two, he missed a bucket load before that went in. His conversion rate was diabolical and he won't get the same level of opportunities against any PL side.

If you don't fancy anyone else, go for it. I think we have a great chance of 3 points today!

I don't mind him missing a few chances as long as he scores eventually, which has been the case in the previous two games....

I think that should be enough to convince me, Pelle (C) it is! I'll be wearing Red and White today!

    For my WC team:
Balo or Rooney - already got Balo for 10, and he might rise again - only worry is 3 Pool players then, and no United?

    captain rooney
    vice captain begovic

sounds stupid but i want a vice capptain that nailed, and hardly anyone in my team seems to be

There are a lot of doubts this weekend limiting the secure vice captain options. Ivan(vc) here

Guessing we have no further Costa news? Trying to settle on my UFPL line up and since I only have one outfield sub to come in I can't afford passengers this week. Currently have Costa playing and captain but could play it safer by picking Dzeko/Welbeck/Ramsey (will know the Ars-Mci line ups pre deadline)
