Thinking of WCing this team:
Begovic 4.0
Terry Caulker Blackett Wisdon Bruce
Fab Ramsey Sterling Siggy Albrighton
Rooney Aguero Naismith
Not a whole lot wrong, but want a new back line and rid of Naismith and Rooney.
Madness to WC?-
Take hits
-
no not madness.. you need to sort the back line like you said.. who you getting for the front? costa and? the mids are the finest.
-
Aguero or Falcao for Rooney and then maybe Welbeck or Pelle for Naismith is what I was thinking.
-
downgrade albrighton also for a 4.4 mid
-
-
-
-
I had Sterling as captain in UFPL with Costa vice. I just took Sterling out for Di Maria, ADM becomes captain but Costa is still vice.
If i bring a player in that won't play tomorrow and make him captain, will VC Costa become my Captain?
Surely not, right?-
no because you need to assign a captain I assume?
-
Yeah, i'll bring Zamora in and make him captain. When he doesn't play i'm wondering if Costa will take the armband as he's still my VC. 😆
-
Wish i could do this all my subs will play. Di Maria capt for me tomorrow
-
-
-
Na, once you've made manual substitutions there are no auto subs and vice cap doesn't count for anything.
-
Ah, cheers. Thought it was too good to be true 😀
-
-
-
Who should I replace Debuchy and Schurrle with? (Take 4 point hit, and currently have 1.8 in the bank).
-
Might go Adebayor (c) next week
Pains me to do it as i'm a baggies fan but we really are awful at the moment 🙁-
I'm definitely going Ade captain then!
-
Good choice
-
Eriksen's final week with me.. may end up captaining him too
-
-
Dependent on the game tomorrow; I'm contemplating the following:
OUT:
- Rooney
- Debuchy
IN:
- Aguero
- £5.4 Defender-
Any suggestions for the defender? Thanks!
-
Chambers?
-
Southampton have a nice trio of defs if you dont have any
-
I have Bertrand (and Terry)
-
-
-
Soton def look solid
-
Duff/Shackell and pocket the change
-
-
I guess I'll just watch Sleepy Hollow until 22:50 then...
Is it meant to be a horror movie? -
want a soton def. clyne will be 5.2 soon. would he be worth the 0.2 over bertrand?
-
Nope
-
-
Any ideas for a Jones replacement?
Have Clyne - Moreno - Wisdom - Moore - Jones.
Cheers 🙂 -
Just logged in to see my GW rank of 1.4 mill :O
Zaha, Sterling and Aguero in this round.
Huge OR rank drop down to 308k.
My lowest overall rank last season was in GW1, where I started at 260k. This does not look good..
Chester and Rooney to The rescue.. Whoa! I'll have a beer -
Was about to kneejerk Debuchy out for Duff in anger(also own Terry.. grrr) and then realised that Debuchy will prob end up falling by just 0.1 by Thursday morning which is when the burnley press conference is and the UCL games will be over too. Phew.. can just go to sleep then
-
*sleep now ... I'm gonna have the lowest TV of them all soon enough with this patience game 🙂
-
I'm trying to be patient as well this season. It's easier this season with less price rises though
-
-
-
Alan Pardew @AlanPardewNUFC · 2h
I'm still here, forever. #nufc
😀-
-
-
must be.
-
-
-
-
Pelle replace Balo or Ade ?
-
Krul - Foster
Terry - Clyne - Wilson - Chester - Hutton
Sigurdsson - Cesc - Sterling - Rambo - Marney
Rooney - Costa - Jovetic
1 FT... not sure who to bring in for Jovetic, but I suppose I need to get him out.-
Jovetic > Welbeck
-
Reckon Danny can perform over the next few though? Quite difficult fixtures until GW8 and Champs League as well...
-
-
-
@Why is Pardew for Kinnear
If you dont think it's this site spoon feeding the masses just check your list against the watchlist on the right, notice anything ?-
-
There is a link from FPL to here, they do the previews for the site and surely mention the same players. It aint price changes that made the template its this site.
-
-
Rooney and Naismith are the best picks ? really ?
-
-
-
-
As good as this place is, I would be surprised if their monthly traffic was a huge proportion of the 1 million people who've bought Sigurdsson since the game started. Truth is, most people who are active early on make simple decisions correctly and it pays off.
-
There's certainly something in that.
-
-
Best replacement for Terry? I was thinking Lovren or Moreno until today's result..
-
Soton defenders
-
-
If you're having a bad gameweek, it could be worse. You could be a Newcastle fan realising that Alan Pardew still has 6 years on his contract
-
😀 made me lol
-
😆
-
-
Bojan to drop again?
-
-
Won a double today Pelle AGS & Chelsea -1.5 AH so decided it's time to finally become a member. 😉
-
-
Wow..I am still in top 200k 😀 Thanks god
-
Overly dramatic?
-
-
Sell or keep?
Cahill
Hazard
Chester
Thanks in advance-
Ditch Chester
-
Any suggestion Declan?
Rest of my defence is Cahill, Caulker, Moore, PVA-
Saints defender
-
Clyne most likely, cheers
-
Bertrand 😉
-
-
-
-
-
Keep
Fabregas
Keep-
Oh actually maybe ditch Chester.
-
Sounds a plan - thanks Lucy.
-
-
Spot on Lucy. Though Haz will go mad at some point..
-
-
Hazard was brilliant but still blanks.. My (c) this round, not sure what to do with him
-
Great player, ultimately not getting the points at the moment
-
-
-
@MJ - Glad we're having a conversation about 900 pages back? Yeah, me too.
-
Ha ha, yeah Ms Bell
-
Someone's been spying. 😛
-
Can't believe you actually had to resort to proving your gender! 😆
-
Yup. I can't either. 😛
-
-
-
-
-
RMWCT
Krul - Mannone
Moreno - Bertrand - PVA - Wisdom - Moore
Fabregas - Navas - Ramsey - Sterling - Siggurdson
Falcao - Costa - Naismith -
Cahill owners.... stick or twist?
-
Sticking as I had to get Aguero instead of Rooney for FT first
-
Rooney's season starts tomorrow!
-
-
Sticking for now I think...
-
-
Begovic, Hamer.
Terry, Jones(i), Ferdinand, Hutton, Wisdom.
Hazard, Sterling, Ramsey, Sigurdsson, Albrighton.
Agüero, Diego Costa, Naismith.
1FT .5 IN THE BANK
WC available...-
Pretty same as mine 🙂
-
Yeah, defence is utterly useless.
-
-
-
Jones to Clyne
Following GW Hazard to Cesc -
Wouldn't wildcard.
Maybe Jones > Chambers?
-
-
grrrr couple of questions:
1) would you do eriksen >> fab...VERY tough one, fab will rise in price but has city away next while erik has qpr @home
2) taking dzeko out priority? welbeck or pelle?
3A) dzeko + eriksen >> welb/pelle + fab (-4)
3B) do only one of the moves above-
1) no
2) I'm stuck with this too. I'm leaning towards Pelle...
3) Just do the Dzeko bit. -
Eriksen has WBA at home.. i'm defo keeping him. Next sunday night i am gonna take him out for Fabregas.. cry a bit at the fact that i've to buy him @9.6.. and then never look back
-
thanks gents...leaning to the same conclusions....just a pity i will have to buy fab at 9.6
-
-
Todays MOTD is later...
-
22:50
-
-
BBC Scotland is useless. MOTD on at 10:50 in England. 11:10 is the time for BBC Scotland in case I make anyone miss it with my earlier post
-
Cartoon Cavalcade on first?
-
if Scotland votes for independence, will they keep BBC?
-
Alex Salmond was asked specifically if we will keep MOTD and he said yes. No idea on BBC. I am just hoping it doesn't happen
-
-
Could be no BBC for you at all soon 😉
-
-
RMT for GW5
De Gea
Clyne, Coloccini, Hutton
Di Maria, Siggy, Sterling, Ramsey, Fab
Pelle, Costa
Hamer, Weimann(ARS), Terry(MCI), Wisdom(TOT)
Worried about lack of City cover.
Suggestions? -
Is it just me, or does it seems that mostly casuals captained Costa? Apart from FFS, almost none of my rivals (the top 5) in my MLs had Costa as captain.
-
My ML leader did. 72, 69 & 71 the past the past three GWs. 😡
-
-
On the back of a wild card all players played , 53 points 🙁 thank fu*k for Fab and Costa over 50%of my total, gonna be hard tomorrow watching man u, Had Falcao cap took him out straight swap for Balo, never in my life will Balotelli be in my team again
