Best short and long term replacement for Debuchy?
Assume he's going to fall tonight or tomorrow evening.
Considering Lovren or one of Clyne/Bertrand.-
calum
-
Think time to go back in for Arsenal defensive coverage is GW8 now, going to swerve for the next few weeks.
-
Here here
-
-
I think it's Baines time. If u can get the cash..
-
Clyne
-
Hmm. Tempted by Bertrand for differential.
-
Confused why people think Bertrand is good differential. Both will get the same CS points and Clyne is the most attacking defender.
-
-
-
-
A Rooney brace tomorrow would do..
-
Couldn't agree more
-
my captain..would do good to me.
-
-
Prediction for tomorrow 's game
2-0 (Rooney brace)-
😉
-
1-0 Falcao
-
your prediction is my prediction.
-
-
MJ. Thank you for your sanity. Clyne in. WC delayed.
-
Could you take a hit to do Naismith to Pelle as well? If you fancy it.
-
Yeah I could. What do you reckon?
-
If you think it's worth 4 points over the next few weeks. I hate taking hits but that might be worth it. Be nice to cheer for one of your own to score...
-
I am probably far too relaxed about hits. And that was a very fence-sitting response 😉
-
I know! I just don't like to advise people to take a hit unless it is blindingly obvious cos they can so easily come back to bite you.
-
They can. If I'm using my sensible head, maybe I should wait one more week as Pelle is away at Swansea and Naismith is at home to Palace?
-
Yeah, maybe
-
Maybe? 😉
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Bertrand was the move 😉
-
Still fancy Clyne more. Think they'll both do well.
-
Not much in it.
-
-
-
Not in the stand unfortunately - in the north so only make it to some away games.
I'm going with Clyne for TV.-
-
Yeah I banged on about Clyne and Bertrand and went for Moreno. We live and learn 😉
-
-
Close enough 😉
-
-
-
-
-
-
Whose in the pic Lucy?
-
Erwin and Ronald Koeman. 🙂
-
Koeman brothers
-
-
-
Balotelli - what a disapointment in overall 🙁 was constantly fearing him doing something stupid when Senderos was teasing him.
-
Nobody in that Liverpool team looked like scoring, it was just a bad day at the office. They're still in the top 3/4 best attacking teams in the league and if Sturridge stays out Balo will get goals
-
So you wouldnt do Balotelli -> Welbeck?
-
God no, relax Liverpool have great fixtures
-
-
-
-
Considering doing Rooney, Hazard, Dzeko for Aguero, Fabregas, Pelle tonight because I guess the prices of all 3 I'm bringing in are gonna rise although nobody really knows? I only have 0.1m to play with, do I have time to wait for Rooney's game?
-
Begovic - Krul
Clyne - Lovren - Pieters (Vlaar, Wisdom)
JWP - Hazard - Sterling - Ramsey - Fabregas
Rooney - Naismith - Bony
0.8 ITB
Should I WC? -
@Valargentina: (if you didn't see)
Hey man.... I'm at work, so only on off, anyhow... He will lose his place to Keane, but when is a different question... Seeing as we''ve just kept two CS in a row, Dyche will/should stick with Duff for now... I would think if Keane proves himself, he'll be eased in-
ah cheers! thanks for replying.. too bad my budget allows for a 4.0 else i'd get Shackell. Gonna just get Moore in now i think. Sorry for troubling you mate.. back to work 🙂
-
No problem... Trust me I'd rather be on here lol....
Shackell is who I'll be getting, ironically to replace Trippier
-
-
-
Get rid of Terry or Hazard first?
-
Terry.
-
-
Oh FFS God Save the Queen. *switches off*
-
I don't want to point fingers. But I've played FPL for 5 years and finished well each time, in the top 5 of my main (30 strong) mates league relentlessly and two years ago broke into the top 2500 overall. I joined this site as a member this year... and have had my worst... start... ever.
Granted my decision to not select Costa may have well... cost me. But seriously, five goals after two doubtful injuries? My rule has always been NEVER to select someone who isn't 100% nailed on (unless you have to).
I've torn that up. And already transferred him in...-
I will now be making him captain even if he's out for a month.
-
It is a little lucky he's started both times. But the thinking behind keeping him was that the injuries were never gonna be more than 1 game and for a player who most consider to be a serious contender for golden boot it's worth keeping him
-
I benched him last week, but took him out for Mario this week with then plan to bring him back. It's ok though, because with my other two transfers I took out Baines and Eriksen...
-
Should've played him last week and then let him get auto subbed out. Best of both worlds, if someone's injured it's unlikely they'll come on as a sub
-
-
-
-
What's this about Costa and a possible ban ( something to do with elbowing I think)
-
Infinitesimal chance that it will come to pass.
-
-
Dzeko > welbeck tonight?
-
Pelle
-
I think yes dzeko left my team 2 night aswell but I went with pelle
-
-
Begovic Krul
Coloccini Cahill Clyne Debuchy VanAanholt
Siggy Ramsey Sterling Zaha Fabregas
Costa Rooney Naismith
Suggestions? I'd like to get Aguero and a Swansea defender in. Other issues are Bego, would like Forster instead, and Coloccini.-
zaha to boyd, bego to mccarthy, cahill to duff, naismith upgrade?
-
-
for ufpl- play austin against united (i will play a utd defender), or hang on to adebayor's 4 points? playing austin makes sense doesnt it
-
I think I'd keep Ade's points personally. I'm bringing in Zamora to get rid of Terry's -1!
-
haha, you cant lose with that one
-
Meanwhile I'm stuck with a string of 0,1 and 2 pointers with Falcao my only other sub. I have a very strong non-playing bench today - Hutton, Moore, Chadli. Not a good UFPL day for me!
-
yeah tougher gw with just the two sunday/monday games. better get used to it i think, bigger bench= more lost points! how many did you manage today?
-
-
-
i think the risk of losing 4 points isnt that great and austin should be at the centre of whatever qpr manages to do so you never know
-
Fair enough. See above for reasons not to listen to me for selection advice today!
-
-
-
-
Welbeck or pelle?
-
w
-
As above
-
-
😀
-
Your grav as well 😀 😀
-
-
-
So what have we learnt?
Ive learnt there is more to bib theory than i thought
Ive also learnt that i was right, too risky for rodgers to bench sterling the same week sturridge out. Shame rodgers couldnt see it. No points for me bing right about that though 😡 -
sucking them beers down to get courageous for wildcarding.
-
I hear ya
-
"oh no, what i have i done", in the morning..
-
-
-
Chance that Pelle will take Southampton's penalties?
-
yip, think i read somewhere he took them for his last team
-
So did Tadic and Tadic had a better record.
-
ok but to answer his question there is a chance that pelle will take them
-
-
-
There's a chance but I still think Tadic.
-
Cheers Lucy.
-
-
-
Arvin on 16 this week. Curse of Community Picks.
-
Yeh, poison chalice that.
-
-
Begovic Gilks
Jones Clyne PVA Naylor Wisdom
Fab Sterling Ramsey Siggy Davis
Rooney Costa Naismith
1FT and 3.5 mill in the bank.
Am I going mad in Thinking: Rooney to Aguero?
Or should I do something different?-
wait till tomorrow, see what wayne does
-
Yea was thinking that should be done! Jones might have to be moved out too.
-
-
jones to baines/ivan, naismith to pelle
-
-
Terry > Naylor
Haz > Fab
Dzeko > Falcao
Worth -8?-
yes for Haz -> Fab. Wait till Falcao plays for the other two.
-
-
Just wrote this after Costa's show tonight - check it out if you like!
http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/toby.bryant/1278034/what-makes-diego-costa-unplayable-
Elbowing people in the face.
-
havent seen it yet so cant comment 😉
-
-
decent. second sentence reads a bit funny imo
-
yea the commas are a bit off, fixed now
-
noticed you have done a fair few articles. how does it work with them? do you get paid for any?
-
sorry for the late reply - no, the site just publishes them if they feel like it, no money involved
-
-
-
-
-
UPFL related.
Have Eriksen as first sub. If I were to swap Aguero to Zamora and hope he doesnt play, Will Eriksen come on?
cheers-
No.
-
thanks
-
Would make it a silly game if you could. May as well have 2 non players on the bench.
-
-
-
na i dont think so. i think for automatic substitutions to happen you cant make any substitutions at all
-
No. No autosubs if you make a change
-
Once you use management substitutions, no auto subs.
-
-
Debuchy and Bojan to chambers and Pelle?
Yay or nay-
Yay
-
y
-
yay
-
Don't rush with the Chambers transfer. Debuchy's injury is still just a sprain.
-
Thanks guys! Ah ya this is my worry if he is rotated again after like two weeks it will be disappointing. Any other 4.5 mids worth it?
-
-
-
Did I oversleep? Is it NYE?
(If you're watching BBC1)-
no, worse
-
-
When Mario Balotelli goes bad... he goes real... real bad.
He was absolutely stinking today. I honestly felt like he was pointing and laughing at my captain choice.-
🙂
-
Golden Rule of fantasy football, all your players hate you and want to make your life a misery. For every Costa there's a Balotelli...
-
He's sh1t
-
-
Feeling quite relaxed about my team for a change. No doubt something will change that though.
DDG Gilks
Clyne Chester PVA Colo Wisdom
Hazard Fabregas Ramsey Siggy Marney
Rooney Costa Welbeck
1.7 bank
Any obvious changes?-
That exact change for Rooney > Aguero would be tempting me... No issues with it, though.
-
I have spotted that! Would want confirmation he was OK after he went off looking a bit suspect though.
-
-
No obvious ones but I'd be slowly chipping at that defence 😉
-
Thanks. Yep.
-
-
May be Hazard -> Sterling but not too much else.
-
Not yet convinced whether that is an obvious upgrade. Would free up more money though.
-
-
colo out
-
Hmm, maybe. Thanks.
-
-
-
Captained Sterling
VC Costa
-4 Sturridge to Balotelli
and still made 41 points and have Mata and Falcao to come.
My team is awesome... blame the Manager -
Worth a mention...Average position for Baines and Coleman...
This weeks clean sheet http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/matches/755342/
Last weeks drubbing http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/matches/755325/-
-
Yeah..nonetheless..I'll post it again at the next Everton article.
Mirallas almost always plays ahead of the striker. Mirallas, Tadic, Hazard, Walcott and co..all get pts..They are in effect strikers..or be it wide ones. Better than the role in the hole most of the time.
