New member here, kinda lost on the members page. What are you usually looking at when analysing players? Just to get myself familiar easier...
-
RMT, other peoples tables (too lazy to make my own and the community does a fine job anyway) Comparison tool is excellent. It is what had me bringing in Pelle for this week.
Season ticker is what I am on most though -
Look at the 6 week projections.
Check / sort players by the Creativity & Threat index to help pick players. -
Comparison tool is what I find most useful. For example, if you can't decide between Clyne and Bertrand.
I use the members ticker a bit too.
Apart from that , not much else but happy to contribute the few quid. People post "members" tables all the time with stats etc, but I think they're all bolloxxxs . If you watch enough games you don't need stats tables to make a good decision.

Does someone have any idea about who is going to rise tonight?
-
Impossible to know these days with Fiso and Total FPL being wildly inaccurate, they dont seem to have figured out the maths this yr yet.
-
-
My life is over I didn't captian Costa, unless
Rooney scores at least 2 goals tomorrow.-
if your life is over purely due to that then you wont be missed.
Get some perspective -
"My life is over"
Get a grip, lad. -
Maybe try holding off on the suicide until next week. FPL is a fickle mistress.
-
Good idea 🙂 f**k this Rooney gone get 4 goals tomorrow
-
-
There's always next season 😉
-
FPL is not a matter of life and death relax. it's much more than that
-
Rooney could easily get double figs tomorrow, relax and enjoy the game 🙂
-
Exactly this - but with Costa as vice captain a minor injury in the warm up wouldn't be a disaster
-
-
-
The Big Bang Theory or How I met your mother? Already watched Modern Family and Arrested Development.
-
they are both terrible compared to those two
-
Any other recommendations?
-
curb your enthusiasm, 30 rock, two guys a girl and a pizza place
-
-
they are terrible? I love those two shows.. this happens to me sometimes when i would love a show but it has like a 30% Metacritic score.. what am i am missing?
-
-
How I Met Your Mother.
As long as you ignore the ending... -
first few seasons of HIMYM are amazing
-
Second that
-
thirded, up to about season 6 is good
-
-
-
Himym
-
How I Met Your Mother (by a long way)
Especially up to about season 5 or 6 -
Id recommend both Community and Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. How I Met Your Mother is fun for the first few seasons
-
Ty all.
-
how i met your mother is amazing the first 4 or 5 seasons
-
I always enjoy it.
-
tbh there almost no comedies that can keep a steady level past season 5( friends, seinfeld)
-
-
-
-
Having the keepers for the bottom 2 = not good.
-
Dropped to 15th in Central African Republic 🙁
Still beating Mull 😀 -
Best 4.0 mill defender. Is duff a bonus point magnet?
Burnleys fixtures look decent so possibly a good option..?
Thought lads n lasses
Cheers -
Welbeck or Pellé?
-
I'd go for the goalscorer every time
-
-
A cry for help here with my WC defense! Anybody fancy helping out?
I have Manone and Guzan in goal and need 3 defenders who rotate pretty well over the nxt 6-10wks to partner Baines and Clyne. Budget is 13.7m, who would you have??
Been messing with permutations for a while now but unable to decide, any input would be greatly appreciated-
Ditch Guzan imo
-
I looked at that but Villa are defending really well and after these 4 games he's great until GW 22.
I think Manone will cover him OK for the nxt 4 wks as well...
More worried about the defenders, want to get it as right as possible with WC cos I prefer using weekly transfers on attackers...
-
-
Chambers, Rose, Duff/Moore.
-
-
Moreno -> Shawcross
Knee jerk or inspired?-
KJ
-
Ha, almost certainly..
-
-
Absolute waste of a transfer
-
Cheers
-
-
-
A. Welbeck and Aguero
or
B. Pelle and Falcao-
A
-
A
-
A
-
But I prefer Pelle and aguero for the short term
-
Can't afford, unfortunately.
-
-
-
Aguero and anyone is fine
-
B is Falcao looks like he could even come close to scoring as much as Aguero (ideally at least a brace tomorrow).
Pelle over Welbz for me.
-
-
Best replacement for Debuchy? I'm thinking a Burnely defender at the moment.
-
Not the best week for me. Did Mata -> Sterling and Chambers -> Morena for -4. 😳
Rooney to save my gameweek please!-
Did Jones ➡ Bertrand and Mata ➡ Sterling, so far so good.
-
*also need to Rooney to save my GW 😉
-
-
Not bad transfers in the long run, no immediate gains but hey-ho
-
Mate.
Last week I did Cesc, Hazard & Costa to De Jong, Ramsey, RVP for (-4).
Think how I feel after Chelsea ripped apart Everton & Swansea?-
😯
-
-
-
If utd come out tomorrow play great and score a few goals then Rooney/Falcao will automatically become the number 1 captain options. If they lose 1-0 goodbye utd players from my team.
-
Personally, I think QPR will get some sort of result tomorrow. Man.U are an absolute shambles and I couldn't entertain any of their players in my team as things stand,
Falcao WAS bloody good but is he the same player he was? Rooney is probably a reverse OOP proposition.
-
-
Does sterling being benched mean the bib theory is true? 😯
-
it means it should not be ignored that is for sure
-
Liverpool bib theory has always been the most reliable.
Am pretty sure Lovren wasn't involved though and Balotelli sat out through illness. -
It's a mistake I'm sure Rodgers will not make again.
-
-
Here, I've done 5 or 6 episodes of Sons of Anarchy. I heard it was good, but is it just me? It's feckin awful.
The main guy... His head and face are just too big to be taken seriously.
The wife ... Can't get beyond the fact that she's Al's wife from Married with Children, and her voice is completely annoying.
All their "bikers" jackets are pristine and look like they've never done a mile on the road. The same goes for their jeans and trainers.
The whole thing just stinks of "trying to hard"-
*too
-
I really enjoyed the first season...
-
It's ok, but not essential by any means.
-
-
Any ideas here? Think ill hold the FT
Begovic
Ivanovic; Clyne; Moreno
Fabregas; Sterling; Siggy; Tadic
Aguero; Costa; Welbeck
McCarthy; Boyd, Wisdom, Moore-
Your team's in great shape mate. Stick with Moreno, you bought him for his good fixtures afterall 🙂
-
Cheers
-
-
Nice, lacking ManU, lets see how tomorrow goes.
-
Cheers both - United could be problematic but it is still unclear who to go for
-
-
nice team, cant see any issues atm
-
Looks fine
-
-
As a Rooney owner. Do I want him to get 10+ points? I didn't captain him
-
Yes as not many captained him
-
yes 350k people shipped him out
-
you always want your player to get points....
-
I guess. But I bet costa owners who didn't captain him would of rather of seen him get 5 points then 17 points.....
-
in those scenarios I always tell myself I will get them people back another day. More points the better always
-
You lose out to the guys who did captain him...but at least you still beat non-owners.
Which is 50% of people in FPL 🙂
More points is always better, even though it doesn't seem like it sometimes.
-
-
-
-
What would you do?
Krul (Hammer)
PVA - Naylor - Chambers (Hutton, Moore)
Fabs - Ramsey - Siggy - Sterling (Marney)
Aguero - Rooney - Costa
2 FT - 0 ITB.-
wait til tomorrow
-
That team looks great. Maybe shift Chambers for another 4.5 def to fit on with your def rotations, and save the other FT.
Chambers might seem attractive with Debucy injured but I don't like Arse fixtures or defensive form. -
tough one, your defence looks like a 2 points max from any of them. I would downgrade somewhere but no idea on which. Rooney if utd flop tomorrow
-
-
I'm selling Jones, would you do
A) Baines
B) Chambers (will he play now that debuchy is injured?)
C) Other (i got Clyne, Moreno, Chester and Hutton)-
baines if you can.
-
Get duff. Burnely look solid at the back, Everton still look poor defensively. Get baines after there fixtures clear up
-
-
did anyone watch the Soton game? how was clyne? is he worth a transfer in for debuchy? the cash will be useful. or should i go for moreno considering the good fixtures pool have
-
Bertrand a better pick
-
based on yesterday's game alone? cos the weeks i saw, clyne was quite adventurous
-
Stats say that Bertrand has been more attacking then Clyne since the season started. He is also a good differential
-
-
-
Big Clyne fan here but he didn't look anything special. I'd still pick him over Moreno when considering both their prices and fixtures.
-
debuchy injured. clyne to bertrand is sideways. stick with clyne.
-
thanks
-
-
Really hope Rooney does well so I can hold him another week and tweak my defence a bit instead
-
+1
-
Need to sell one of Ferdinand/Kelly
-
-
-
I have this front 8:
lamela, ramsey, fabregas, siggy, sterling
naismith, rooney, costa
who would you bench next week? or should I be looking to ship out one of the mids?-
I'd bench Fabregas. I would actually ship Lamela though as fixtures turn for the worse after next week.
-
bench lamela
-
Sell lamela for a cheap fifth and use the money elsewhere
-
-
Welbeck or pelle?
Scherderlin or dyer?-
Pelle
Dyer -
Pelle dyer
-
-
Crikey -- a red arrow with 51.. What would be the minimum for a green arrow??
-
I know. 🙁 red arrow with 50 here. I thought Pelle was a master stroke. But alas.
-
well, when the most popular captain choice gets 34 points...51 isn't so great 😉
-
-
Tough crowd in here tonight - 2 requests for help with a WC and 1 reply, I gotta call it a night
Until tomorrow all-
sorry bud - maybe make the format of your posts more aesthetically pleasing...e.g.
I have Baines and Clyne - pick 3 defenders who rotate well over next 6-10 gws.... (13.7 budget)-
Naylor Bardsley and Duff/Moore would work...
-
-
-
big fan of aaron lennon's average position
-
😀
-
-
Has anybody mentioned that Liverpool could not score against a deffence of
Hutton Senderos Baker Cissokho?-
just 1 shot on target too. bad day at the office
-
They need more game time together
-
-
Ivanovic's shots on goal and touchs in the penalty area are simply incredible!
-
I'm thinking of doing
Coloccini -> Ivanovic
Hazard -> Di Maria-
First one is a major upgrade. Wait on the second to see how united and adm perform. Maybe look at Cesc
-
