Morning deadzone.
I don't usually like the 'woe is me' Sunday morning messages but I thought you'd enjoy this.
Just worked out that, after spending 2-weeks picking the perfect WC team, my preWC team will score more than my post WC team this week!
I also had Sterling C and Costa VC so Sterling's appearance cost me 17 points!
Now I just need Mata to score a hatrick to complete my misery!
Why do I bother!-
On the bright side I am top of the page (small victories)!
-
-
I have Di Maria C and Costa VC. maybe i'll look like a genius, probably not.
-
siggy or chadli?
-
Siggy.
-
Chadli will get more goals, but Siggy is the main man at Swansea - everything goes through him. Will get plenty of assists over their nice run, nailed on, and you don't want to miss out when he explodes.
-
cheers
-
-
-
Best def to replace Debuchy??
-
Clyne/Bertrand
-
I'm thinking duff. But if you don't have a Southampton defender then I would get Bertrand/Clyne
-
-
Should I go Naismith to Welbeck yet?
-
I have 2 FTs. I definitely want to take Terry out this week (wouldn't start him at City on current form), so I'm feeling tempted to do it tonight in case he drops, with the safety net of an extra transfer if there are any midweek injuries. If we could reliably predict price changes, there wouldn't be the element of a gamble, but is this a silly decision for the sake of a potential 0.1 gain?
-
United QPR predictions?
Come on, give me some hope...-
3-1
-
3-0
RVP hat trick.
Happy? 😉-
Yes, thank you 🙂
-
-
2-0 Rooney double
-
2-1
mata double 😉 -
4 goals for Rooney 🙂
-
2-0.
I really can't predict it though, could well be five players making their Old Trafford debut - half the outfielders! -
8-0
Mata 8 goals
Rooney 8 assists
DDG peno save-
I'd prefer RVP getting the points tbh.
-
-
5-1 Rooney and Falcao both with braces, Di Maria with the other and three assists 😀
-
Austin scores

If Mata plays and gets something later today I'm quitting this site.
I may be in a foul mood after yesterday's game but it's how I feel right now.
😛-
I hope Mata gets something.
-
Aww shame.
-
If it makes you feel any better, I dropped from 800 to 600k in 2 weeks.
-
I dropped from 65th to 400k+ 🙁
-
Same, 41k to 410k...
-
-
-
I hope you're right
Kept Mata 😀-
You were first in with a reply you tosser.
🙂-
Woah easy with hindsight 😛
I already had Sterling anyway
-
-
-
A Katie meltdown so early in the season 🙁
-
Don't go. 🙁
-
I did mata to sterling. But tbf, it gained me about 0.4-0.5 in a week
-
It was mighty difficult not doing the Mata > Sterling transfer, 2 weeks of resisting a tidal shift. Not being clever, just didn't fancy it for a -4 as Costa was the priority.
-
-
So darn depressed.
Im one of those poor chaps that took out Costa after Mourinho told his first lies about his fitness before GW3. Didnt bring him back in this week for the same reason. Now im 30+ points down because of it. With an Overall rank of 900k-
I hear ya.
-
I'm the same. Except I didn't bring him back this week because I was trying to be clever by waiting until he played City before bringing him in...
-
same 🙁
-
-
Dzeko to The Welbz done. Boom! Mums the word though ffs 😉
-
Why Welbz over Pelle, Timbo?
-
I don't really know yet 🙁 money probably. Gets me aguero later.
-
Ahh ok. Stuck between the two myself.
-
-
-
🙂
-
Well don't know that bird bird bird is the word, mate.
-
-
best trio pls? thnx!
1.aguero - naismith - sterling
2.aguero - welbeck - chadli/dyer/or schneiderlin
3.falcao - welbeck - mirallas/or lamela-
1 is template.
3 is flair.-
i like your 3 w/ flair 🙂
-
-
Probably 2 with Chadli.
-
2 with chadders
-
cheers. i was leaning towards 2 ONLY after today's games, but before the game #1 would have been the winner i gather.
any risk w/ morelimited time for sterling you reckon?
shneiderlin making a case for the french national team, this southamptom team could deliver w/ him tadic and pelle maybe...still chadli?
-
-
would you have both fabreags and costa if on WC?
-
100%.
-
100000%
-
-
yes
-
No
-
Yes you will be getting 7 points for every Chelsea goal
-
11* 😉
-
-
-
Sorry for asking but is there a reliable source for price rises/falls yet??
or does anything know/think if Fab & Pelle will rise tonight??-
None of the sites are reliable yet.
-
-
Any price changes for Jovetic and Costa tonight?
-
on FISO costa is 25% while Jove is -95%
logic would suggest no but strange things are happening these days...
-
-
So are we all going to jump on the Chambers wagon? It seems Debuchy could be out for a while.
-
ive been on it since day 1 😎
not sure about buying him just yet though - are next three fixtures aren't that great (villa in form) and we are a shambles at the back atm...-
I think you got a bit lucky with the Debuchy injury. Fair play though, sometimes you need a bit of luck.
Thinking I might save a transfer, Villa are in form so its not an urgent trade.-
what? how did we get lucky?
-
no I got lucky from an fpl perspective - chambers was just bench fodder until this injury 🙂
-
-
-
-
I will, but it's gotta be a decent amount of time
-
Depends how long Debuchy is out after GW8
-
Good point
-
-
I don't think we will see many on the chambers wagon due to their fixtures.
-
-
have a crazy plan to do Terry, Rooney & Mutch ---->>> Dier, Fab and Pelle for a -4 hit but if anyone of mine fall of who I want rise I can't do it....
not a fan of transfers before gameweek finishes but looks like a mighty fine transfer to make -
does hazard still have pens for chelsea?
-
Thinking about Moreno>Clyne to complete the Saints trifecta I balked at on my WC.
-
Seems pointless tbh. Moreno has looked good.
-
Pool D is dire and he looks to be on his way to a suspension sooner rather than later.
-
-
looks decent but patient is the order of the day imo 😉
-
-
Jovetic, the forgotten man.
I thought you guys knew he was the next Tevez? Bargain City forward...-
would rather have aguero
-
Obviously, but for 4m more?
-
i did have jovetic for this reason but he hasn't shaken off the injury concerns yet. and he could be dropped for dzeko anytime
-
Absolutely
-
-
-
You getting him for the Chelsea match?
-
Chelsea haven't exactly been tight. It's a stereotype I thought they'd have lost by now...
-
-
If Pelly only had faith in him. The boy is class.
-
He does have faith in him. I've read nothing but praise from Pelle. Not just pre-season but after the Pool match.
-
He can talk all he wants. His actions disagree.
-
Really?
He's played him in every match he's been fit... :S-
Was the first one to get the hook when things went wrong against Stoke. Want no part of that nonsense.
-
Hey Muppet, fancy having a cash competition this season between you and me? Whoever gets the most points takes the pot.
-
What's the stakes?
-
Dunno, we can sort it tomorrow when I'm sober 😀
-
Fair enough 😆
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Already had Jovetic for 3 weeks this season... Owning him had more ups and downs than an elevator.
-
I think aguero or no one
-
Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
-
-
-
Have to say having watched bits of the Chelsea match i'd hold onto Hazard if I had him, he was brilliant but just so happened not to grab ff points today. Can't see any reason not to have Cesc, Hazard and Costa with how hot Chelsea are right now.
-
Chelsea were lucky. I hate CHELSEA........................
-
I know you don't want to talk about it but I hate them too. 😀
-
-
He's looked like that every match so far but barely gets a shot off, never mind on goal.
-
-
Which is the best price changes site to use now?
-
Possibly this: http://www.fiso.co.uk/crackthecode.php
-
-
Next week's lineup is currently
Krul
Cahill Duff Wisdom
Siggy Hazard Sterling Eriksen
Costa Rooney Austin
Begovic Jones Young Dummett
Not too bad, but with that bench lots of work to be done. So do I WC now, or hold off another week?-
Tbh, I'd WC.
-
I counted 10 players I would sell. WC.
-
You're probably right, though it's tempting to just take a -4 and leave myself with a pretty decent XI for the week. I guess I'd only be putting off the inevitable.
-
-
-
Which of these you reckon will rise tonite?
given yesterday Total nor Fiso had Naismith to rise.
1.Aguero
2.Welbeck
3.Schneiderlin
4.Chadli-
I don't think any will, but welbz probably the most likely
-
-
Stick with Hazard over Fabregas?
-
I would
-
im in same boat. tough to make move now. got to sleep over it
-
I'm tempted to swap. Would need to be done soon though before their prices equal out.
-
It has been quite disappointing, particularly watching him play well but with no fantasy product.
After last year, I'm adamant on Hazard paying off patience against Fabregas, despite the continuous points gap (and it hurts as everyone in my league has Fab and I captain Haz this week)
I wouldnt stop people from trading Haz to Fab but personally I'm being patient and sticking with him
-
-
Balotelli was in my team for about 12 hours 😆
-
lol
-
😆 who you planning to replace him with?
-
Agueroooooooo
-
Can't argue with that!
-
-
-
😆
-
😆
Moreno may be the same for me. -
haha.
-
-
Eriksen: no chance he fall right? he scored today + 3 bonus
total at 101% to fall
fiso 70% to fall-
I doubt he'll fall but nobody knows
-
absolute insanity if he falls. yet sterling still showing a net increase.
-
-
-
So is Chadli the real deal then? Didn't watch the game.
-
He seems to have more of a striker's instinct than the other Spurs mids in terms of getting in scoring positions. Should be guaranteed starts for a few weeks, but will probably be subbed off. Worth a punt at that price but I wouldn't expect returns every week.
-
Hmm I have Lamela. How'd he look today?
-
-
-
Anyone considering Ulloa? Looks a classy player so far and only £5.5m. Would consider him before Welbeck
-
And most certainly before Naismith... i'll never understand the Naismith love-in here 🙂
-
Don't dis dat guy.
-
He's an awkward one for me. I don't do attacking rotations but I wouldn't want to play him every week.
-
he never played well in argentina. and fixtures are not the best now.
-
-
I could shoot myself right now......why didn't I listen to Doosra and my stupid Hot topic......bloody hell.
No costa....Sterling in for Mata, Moreno in for Debuchy -4.......Im taking an 8pnt hit this week. 🙄 😆-
Schurrle as well 🙄
-
I hope you're okay with my decision to bench you now :shy:
-
😆 Always was!
-
-
Sterling for Mata was good for TV. Now we just need him to stay quiet
-
Mmmm....I hoep so....
-
-
apologies in advance, but seeing your gw score made me chuckle 😆 😉
maybe its time to wc?-
Maybe...
-
-
Bloody scout picks failure as well 🙁
-
-
I really want to WC ay.. Mainly just to get Kun and Cesc in. Temptation is so strong
-
Nike.
