Is chadli nailed on?
-
Until he starts playing badly
-
Difficult to say with the amount of options they have, although he looks the pick of the Spurs players at the moment. I'm certainly considering him.
-
He's on form so I would think so. Spurs have EL this week though so might get rotated as Spurs play WBA.
He's certainly ahead of Townsend and Lennon in anycase-
Personally I think its worth paying an extra 1.0 to get Tadic who is more nailed on and is on set pieces and pens as well.
-
-
-
Are there any incoming trades that need to be made urgently tonight before rises or drops?
For example:
- Avoid Caulker drop
- Catch Baines, Welbeck, and Pelle before they rise.-
I guess Debuchy drops.
-
Not sure if anybody knows !
-
Does anyone know if rises/drops have happened on Saturday's or Sundays immediately the same night?
As far as I recall they're quite evenly spread, but I want to avoid missing out on players because i was slow to act.
-
-
-
Is Rafael a certain starter?
-
He caught my eyes too.
-
awww
-
-
Depends on the formation they use I guess? Valencia becomes tougher competition if they switch to three at the back.
Also depends on Rafael staying fit. -
i reckon so, yeah
-
-
Can we trust FISO now?
-
Nope
-
No not yet. Work in progress, same for Totalfpl.
-
I'm worried whether Debuchy will drop or not.
-
Do you think they'll have it up and running for GW7 or GW8?
This is my first year so not sure what to expect.
-
-
-
Wisdom Terry Wilson Hutton Jones
I have 1FT, who should I get in for Jones?
Thinking Duff?-
1 goal conceded in last 7 halfs of football, not a bad choice.
-
Lovren-Bertrand
-
-
I haven't been this excited by watching a player in the EPL since Bale. When Di Maria get's the ball you expect something to happen. Great addition to the league 🙂
-
And my FPL team 😛
-
He is worryingly good. But then again so was Ozil when he came from Real Madrid. 😛
-
not as good as the argie lad
-
-
I agree.
-
Indeed. We need to go 433 to get him up front.
-
I'm sure a professional Premier League manager has a better idea of the most effective tactics. Especilly one as experienced as LvG. It's why they get paid so much.
-
Especially*
-
Which is why we're nailed on to do it. 😀
-
-
we have three decent strikers though, a one up top system surely wastes two of them?
-
No, we don't. RvP is finished and Rooney can play in the hole.
-
-
-
Better addition to my team 😀
-
-
How well did Rooney play earlier?
I was clearing the junk room of my Walkman WM-EX610 and Panasonic SJ-MR200 so only had the radio to go on (in spurts).-
Pretty decent, wonderful passes, in the box, quite a few shots.
All good.-
Cheers for the reply, appreciate it.
Apart from the goal, all I heard was Rooney's weak effort that led to the 2nd goal and some bad ball control. I'll have to get a new radio.
-
-
Well... Hard to be objective with Rooney, but many will be happy.
-
Cheers.
Certainly feels like he saved me from WCing.
This year, I'd like to have been able to play a 3-6-1.
-
-
-
Thanks, Scout Picks, for Pelle. In six years I've been following this site, it's the first one that's actually come through for me.
-
How come so much love for Krul and Bego given that Newcastle are absolute pony and stoke have struggled against week opposition?
Any thoughts on alternatives? Rotate or just go big on say Hart?-
Forster looks like a good option
-
this.
alot of people have bertrand or clyne though so wary of doubling up. thats atleast the position im in.
-
-
Guzan?
-
-
Krul/Elliot
van Aanholt, Clyne, Jones, Taylor, Wisdom
Ramsey, Hazard, Sterling, Sigurdsson, Marney
Welbeck, Rooney, Diego Costa
1.7 ITB, anything worth a hit ?-
Fabregas is essential. Get him in however you can, even if it is for Hazard.
-
even for a hit ?
-
no
-
I have a personal rule where I never make hits ever, I just don't see the point of them, too much of a lottery. But if you are comfortable with making hits then yes, that is worthy of a hit. Fabregas is a season keeper.
-
-
Im considering benching him at City.... have 4 other strong mids and naismtih has a great fixture...
-
-
-
Rambo + Naismith ---> Welbz + Di Maria
-
I would just do Rambo > Di Maria for now, don't like Arsenals fixtures
-
Cheers. How about Pelle then?
-
I'm not convinced just yet, would wait another week - Swansea (A) is a tough one with their form
-
-
-
-
No one going for Remy?
-
Chelsea already brought him
-
😀
-
-
The thought scares me.
-
Have you not heard of Diego Costa?? He plays centre forward for Chelsea.
-
He's a back-up for Costa. Might get on for a few mins and score like yesterday, but his playing time is limited imo
-
Why would they? Costa will start every game and get the majority of goals, Remy will be left the scraps in the final 10-15 minutes, if you don't mind sporadic 5 pointers sure.
-
🙄
-
Waste of a forward spot
-
yeah could get picked now due to costas poor run of form
-
So that's a no then.
-
-
Any UCL managers around? How's your team looking?
-
Better than my FPL one, that's for sure.
-
Haha..you on Bale+Ronaldo?
-
Yeah, going to have to replace Carvajal though.
-
Carvajal injured?
-
Looks like it.
-
-
-
-
-
The same as yours
-
😀
-
😉
-
-
-
Pretty good, dropped to 618 with Cavies to play. Don't think I'll be captaining him 🙂
-
Oops, read that as UFPL 😳
-
Wrong game 😉
-
This. 🙂
-
-
-
Bit of a mess tbh
-
-
Was planning Rooney to aguero -4
looking at fixures next weekend this would be a crazy swap correct?
0.2 spare for swap-
Aguero scores against anyone
-
but I wouldnt do it for -4
-
Wait for a week more
-
-
Sterling Captain here.
Need to pick myself up, would be pretty good if you advice me a middie for under 7.0
Siggy-Ramsey--Sterling--Albrigton
--Roon---Costa--Balo-
Suppose the obvious ones would be Schneiderlin and Wilshere.
Wilshere in a more advanced role, playing regularly and fit could be a consistent provider of points, but relies heavily on assumptions.
-
-
Pretty settled on this for my WC now...
Begovic
Rafael - Clyne - Taylor
Sterling - Fabregas - Siggy - ADM
Aguero - Pelle - Costa
---------------------------------------------
McCarthy - Boyd - Duff - Moore
£0.1m ITB-
Activated ?
If so, I would get Welbeck in for Pelle.-
Yep it's active...Welbeck just screams "good pick on paper" to me...not sure if the points will materialise 😯
Despite that I'm still considering him
-
-
strong team like it alot
-
Ramsey?
-
-
I like it.
-
-
Best mid for 5.7 or less?
and best 4m ish defender?-
I like Zaha at 5.4 and Boyd might be a decent option
-
-
Is my dislike for United overpowering logic to get Di Maria in for the next few weeks?
Great player but I expect United to get back to old habits from next week. QPR were so shite, giving them too much space to pass the ball around and build up attacks.-
Haters gawn hate.
-
Ha ha..
You think the form is going to continue? Just convince me to get Di Maria in..-
I think so. Not really arsed to do any convincing though.
-
-
-
he is an absolute workhorse will always pick up bonuses if united do well. That is not including his goal and assist threat. Plus they have thier tails up now with great fixtures. He might even top the captain poll next week.
-
-
Slipped up to 59th in UFPL. 🙂
See that FFS Paul (sir Paulos) is a heady 6th.-
howd we do mr gnu?
-
Hi,
A steady 65 in FPL, 2 behind you I believe 🙂-
what about team belgium.... i missed the deadline
-
Oops sorry, we're just ahead but a real mixed bag with too many points on the bench but hopefully we'll be all in better shape next week.
Check the link.

nice one
😀

I know everything is up in the air with price changes, but Haz dropping this week is quite likely isn't it?
Haz>Fab transfer seems slightly wasteful, but missing the Fab points is punishing me heavily in my mini league. -
hate not havin players on mnf 🙁
-
Yeah. Just be comforted by the fact it's two average teams
-
more dropped points tho
-
-
-
Dzeko to
A) Pelle
B) Adebayor-
ade
-
-
For those wondering about Sterling being benched, Markovic is suspended for the CL game on tuesday which could part explain it
-
Di Maria having no UCL is a huge plus over Sterling.
-
thanks for that. So sterling might not be a bench threat before each CL game so?
-
Definitely not. BR mistake
-
-
After yesterday's result Sterling isn't gonna get benched anymore. BR learnt his lesson.
-
-
2.0 ITB which I was going to use on Rooney to Aguero... not sure what to do now
Bego mcCarthy
Moreno Clyne PvA Moore Naylor
Hazard Mirallas Siggy Sterling Zaha
Roo Costa Welbeck
Should I do
A) Haz to Rambo
B) Haz to Cesc
C) Rooney to Kun
D) Nothing-
D

B

6 in the world in the ultimate game.
To the top guy with unpronounceable name I am going to get you!-
Nice rank! I'm up to 466. Having to rely on the same squad for 4 months is going to be interesting
-
to be honest I got very very very lucky in my first week so it set me up. I am really enjoying it so far. Big changes can happen quickly if your not afraid to take risks I think.
It's like the fpl version of rugby league to normal fpl rugby union.
I found it great for showing which are the good players to get in the normal fpl game-
Yeah I think its a bit more forgiving, with the subs changes etc. We'll see come Dec when all the players are crocked though!
-
haha yeah I tried to pick guys who are not that injury prone (ramsey exception to the rule)
You have less excuses when you leave points on the bench in the game as you said.
It makes it less annoying then the normal fpl
-
-
-
-
-
@Giggs Boson
Is that really your team linked? You did 18 transfers? Wtf?-
WC
-
The last two weeks have been my worst in FPL history. I had such a promising start...
But yes, I'm WCing, but haven't pressed the button yet 😀-
dont despair mate, im on the same points as you, had a bad week and used my W/C too. Took out Rooney and Costa for Falcao and Balotelli. Not the best moves ive ever made. you have to laugh
-
Lol oh. I didn't realise that it's possible to do transfers before activating your wildcard !
Unlucky mate. Good luck for the rest of the season.-
i know, brought in Mirallas, Di Maria and Baines so not all bad news but should have stuck with the front 2. A perfect case of trying too hard
-
Cheers mate, and you.
-
Thanks. Not a great start for me either 🙂
-
-
-
ah everyone has one of those weeks or even years! Last year everything I did went wrong.
Go with your gut and keep making the transfers you think are right it is all you can do.-
thats it, theres a long way to go.. just got to keep chipping away... 😉
-
-
-
Nothing wrong with a -68 hit every now and then 🙂
-
-
What are your first thoughts on Mata??
A keep
B get ADM
C get Fabregas
D get Sterling
I think due to Champions League, Fab and Sterling would be rested in BPL at some point.-
I'd prefer Di Maria over Mata - he might be dropped next week as well.
Can't believe that you haven't got Sterling or Fabregas! :O -
I would get ADM if I were you. Also chadli is a good option to get because I think spurs will field reserves in the europa league for a while yet.
-
-
You guys seem to like Pelle alot after his brace. Did he play well aside from that? Watched the goals and I'm not yet convinced he is one to get.
-
What's the verdict on captaincy next week? Thinking of going for Costa just for security....
-
could work.... great form
-
one of the united players, everton players, liverpool players or swansea (siggy) are the other options
-
-
Thinking Naismith > Pelle but Welbeck would be cheaper and give me cash for Rooney > Aguero after Rooney vs Leicester.
-
wait on that naismith is playing palace. You could do it the week after that though
-
