Alongside that, we’ve an enthralling encounter at the Liberty Stadium as Swansea and Southampton prepare to press and weave patterns around the South Wales pitch.

Elsewhere, Alan Pardew will look to extend his stay of execution at Newcastle via a winnable home clash with Hull City, while Burnley go in search of their first three points back in the top flight as Gus Poyet’s erratic Sunderland unit pull up to Turf Moor.

We may well be discussing some very meagre Fantasy points tallies by 4.50, as we prepare to make our way to East London to check in on West Ham’s progress, as they host Brendan Rodgers’ title pretenders, Liverpool.
