If Rooney doesn't play tomorrow my captaincy will pass to Sterling an fabregas comes off the bench.
With that in mind, does anyone know any gangsters in Manchester I can get in touch with to do me a favour? 🙂-
Or you could hope that rooney gets a brace?
-
Falcao
-
why wouldn't Rooney play?
-
Yep. JK. 😉
-
Rooney is my captain, I want him to play
-
-
Rooney has the privileges
-
LvG said Rooney is his only guaranteed starting striker.
-
-
Thinking of wildcarding from this to the team below. Thoughts please?
(One of haz or fab would become walcott eventually)
Krul*, Eliot*
Debuchy*, Pieters*, Davies*, Hutton, Moore
Haz, Ramsey*, Sterling, Siggy, Marney*
Rooney, Aguero*, Jelavic*
Forster, Heaton
Bertrand, N.Taylor, Hutton, Duff, Moore
Hazard, Fabregas, Sterling, Sigurdsson, Boyd
Welbeck, Rooney, Costa
(1.9 in the bank)-
Use that 1.9 to upgrade your defense?
-
what move would you do?
-
Aguero over Rooney?
-
aguero's hamstrings worry me. as well as rotation in the league due to CL. don't have to worry about rotation with rooney. may upgrade to falcao if he starts tomorrow
-
-
I'd get in Calum Chambers (the cheapest top club starter), play him against Tottenham and bench against Chelsea. Get some extra power in the team with another top team defender and switch from Boyd to Cork.
-
cheers
-
-
-
-
-
if you didn't have siggy would you get him in now ?
-
I don't and I'm seriously rethinking him to replace Mata.
-
If you don't have siggy by now, there was no serious thinking done by you this season.
-
-
No. he might be making way for someone else as well.
-
Even I don't own him and am considering getting him in this week but just figure out at who's expense...Ramsey or Mata ?
-
-
31 points. Aguero,ADM,Mirallas and Rojo left. An average week. Hope Mirallas and Aguero prove to be my differentials
-
Aguero (C),Costa,Haz and Naismith left here

Our "rubbish" scales on different levels
From worst, to not so bad.
1) Mignolet, Lovren, Lucas and Johnson.
2) Skrtel, Sakho, Gerrard and Borini.-
Mignolet 9m
Johnson 17.5 Lovren 20 Sakho 18 Moreno 12
An incredibly expensive set of defenders as well. Moreno has been good to be fair.-
When I look around, Chelsea have the best defence. Arsenal have a great defence apart from the big games. City's defence rely on Kompany.
-
-
Turned on Lovren awfully quickly I see...
-
Initially thought he'd be our best signing. He's been at fault for most of our goals though. Basic school boy errors.
-
Twas said before unfortunately, he's a good CB but he makes a lot of errors. Should've been him and Agger playing together I feel.
-
Both left sided centre halfs, bla bla. Our defense is more than worrying.
-
Have heard that alright, don't really get it. Aye, CDM position a real issue as well.
-
-
-
Incorrect. Look at Gerrard ...
-
Gerrard isn't prone from criticism. He's been just as poor.
-
True enough, cannot play CDM.
-
-
-
-
-
Early opinion needed -
Lamela ➡ Fabregas and Coloccini ➡ Bertrand for a hit
Should I be considering this move or not?-
-
Cheers Welbz..though I'm tempted to get you in for Naismith as well 😉
-
-
-
Maybe just Colo, keep Lamela for a week.
-
Nice
-
good especially for next week
-
You still have Lamela? Lamentable. 😉
-
Most probably his last game in my team tomorrow 🙂
-
-
Thanks for all the replies guys 🙂
Going to keep this move in mind..
-
-
We looked dreadful today. I'm keeping Sterling though but losing Hendo, he's not carrying much threat to be honest.
Saints on the other hand have form and fixtures. Hendo > Schneiderlin a good bet. That would then also give me the money to do Naismith > Pelle.
Do one, both or neither? Cheers.-
One, Naismith > Pelle. Scheniderlin is not one to rely on for points either
-
Cheers. I would need to do the Hendo transfer to free up an extra 0.3m. Then could afford the Pelle transfer. Would cost me -4 too. Do both? I'm tempted, Pelle against QPR could be a decent haul.
-
Probably would then, if you need the extra £. But would prefer an alternative to Schneiderlin. Maybe Boyd?
-
My position would be Hendo and Naismith out to Pelle and 5.8m. Boyd definitely on the radar. Downing, Larsson, Diame?
-
-
-
-
I won't put my bet on Schneiderlin.
-
One. Pelle.
-
Here's a tip for some
"That would then also give me the money to do Naismith > Pelle. "
😉 -
They havn't got fixtures with Spurs away GW7. V.tough fixture
-
Did you expect any different?
Sell a world class player in Suarez and spend his money on a load of Southampton players who finished below you.
It's interesting to see them riding high after investing their lottery win from Liverpool so well while you have slipped into a mid table position.-
Tough to replace him, that goes without saying - perhaps we should have bought Costa summer 2013 when we had the chance.
We have a young squad and young players need confidence (look at Sterling). I trust Brendan to get the best out of the squad over the course of the season and get them playing with confidence.
Pains me to say it as he is the best LFC player I've ever watched, but Gerrard looks particularly slow and under-motivated this season.
-
-
-
People who own Everton players. Are you holding the likes of Mirallas for the next two weeks for the good fixtures or getting rid because of the next two fixtures?
-
Next two are good fixtures for attacking returns imo
-
Holding Naismith because he's cheap. He's also scored a goal or two against the top 7.
-
He seems to do better against the good teams. I think he's a good shout v Liverpool.
-
-
Keeping Mirallas, only Everton player atm.
-
-
A) Ramsey -> Siggy
B) Naismith -> Pelle
C) Both for -4-
B
-
-
I've got two transfers and I'm looking at doing Mata > Fábregas and then which one of Coloccini or Kelly should I get rid of? And for who? Got 5.2 to spend.
Begovic
Cahill Clyne Coloccini Kelly Wisdom
Mata Sterling Ramsey Sigurdsson Marney
Costa Rooney Welbeck -
-
Already own 3 Southampton players but Tadic may have to go soon. Pelle is a beautiful man.
-
That he is
Watchlisted in case my bog 3 up top experiment fails-
*big
-
-
-
Aguero >> Costa
ADM >> Silva
Balotelli >> Rooney/Falcao
For -4 hit. Worth?-
Wait til after tomorrow's games and assess...
-
-
I have always been terrible with taking hits in previous seasons and have often felt it's my major downfall. This season I decided no more and I've really pushed myself to not take any at all. I'm now considering actually losing one of my two free transfers this week, is that just crazy?
-
Not a big deal. If your team is actually good, no need to change it
-
You seem to be doing pretty well this week, so I'd say it's paying off. I'm the same, trying not to be so knee-jerky, but I can't say it's going as well as you. I'd replace Cahill, but other than that you're looking good.
-
-
Bonus points added.
-
Balo owners, what now?
-
Shoot him. Or shoot yourself.
-
Great fixtures to come stil, seemed ok relatively today, but team is a bit kak. So?
-
He is pretty awful.

-
Baps out.
-
Darren Bent, Nathan Baker and Ashley Westwood. didn't make the game due to a stomach bug.
Westwood withdrew in the warm-up. Weimann was sick half time and substituted, while Guzan and Delph were also ill despite playing.
Sounds horrific.-
Diarea?
-
-
Di Maria worth 9.7??
He's an assist man I get that but is he gonna get more points than Sterling or Ramsey? I doubt there'll be much in it... Thoughts? -
Pelle
I want him, but sadly for him, I think I want Aguero more-
-
it's true but having done Hazard to Chadli specifically to fund Aguero I feel obliged to stick to it
-
-
Oh I sold for free, wouldn't have done it for a hit
-
-
-
-
You and I will diverge, now. 🙂
-
I suspect you will end up better off
Pelle looks incredible value-
Injuries permitting, Naismith to Pelle.
-
sound move
-
-
-
-
-
caulker 2 baps 😯
-
shame really, crouch poked the goal in..
-
-
Tadic over Pelle has been a cruel 50-50 over the past two matches. I am hoping QPR can help me out a bit.
-
Colocinii/chester to Burnley/lei/sun defender
Already have saints defndr -
Krul to Heaton
Ferdinand to Bertrand
Eriksen to Tadic
For a -4 yes??-
No..only first 2 if u have to do it..Arsenal is bad deff and Eriksen will deliver IMO
-
-
Is getting in some West Ham coverage beneficial seeing their form?
-
Can't see where I could fit one in.
-
Their attack looks tempting once their fixtures get normal. Valencia, Sakho, Kouyate and Downing on my radar
-
-
See how they get on against Utd. No stand out options. QPR after that
-
I don't trust their defense but they are pressing the opposite the to quite an extent. Could prove to be different
-
-
-
Pelle or Welbeck?
I fancy Pelle to out score I over the next few games but Welbz will be 7.5+ by the time I get him for GW8-
-
-
True, who would you go for?
-
-
Tis the million dollar question.
-
-
I love you Mannone.
-
I nearly started Krul because home v. SUN away.
-
-
Ramsey > ADM
Krul > Forster
All for free, if I have no injuries.
A. Yes
B. No -
Pelle (c)?
-
Not for me. He's not done enough for me to give him the armband.
Costa or Rooney look the safe picks. -
Costa surely.
-
-
42 points so far. Hazard, Costa(c) and Rooney left.
-
Well played.
-
