So 45 points with Lamela, Aguero, Costa & Naismith to go. I know I should be very happy with that but that itching feeling that I have no Man Utd players is giving me concern

26 points with Aguero (C),Costa,Haz and Naismith without Utd players should give u concern.

51 with Costa, Naismith, Ivan & ADM. Anything could transpire. UTD could run riot. A lot of drama yet to unfold.

    Advice needed please,

    Bego
    Baines-Clyne-Moreno-NTaylor-Moore
    Sterling-Fab-Siggy-Tadic-Boyd
    Welbeck-Kun-Costa

Got 0 ITB and 2 FT. Wish I had gone with my gut and gone for Forster instead of Bego when WC 2 weeks ago. Should I do it now or hold? Forster rising tonight? Wanted to hold and use the 2 to get united cover depending on how they set up tomorrow....

I have good team and was hoping to save my transfer, but.....

    a)
Welbeck unfortunately delivered now so thinking it might be good to jump in the wagon now,
    Naismith => Welbeck?

    b)
Caulker will drop tonight and he needs to go sooner or later
    Caulker => PVA / Naylor

    c)
Just save transfer, Welbeck won't go out of reach next week.

Don't think midweek had too much to do with it. We were atrocious last week as well without having played in midweek. I think the part in brackets is closer to the point and this also proves that Sturridge is absolutely vital.

I wouldn't under estimate the advantage of not playing midweek. Not only the fatigue but the fact you have to rotate, adjust your system, etc. Last season they could prepare all week for the game the following weekend

REPOST (sorry) - Had an absolute horror so far, just the 23 pts. I've got Costa (C), Cesc, Di Maria & Naismith to play yet mind, brain storming few ideas for next week, 2 FT's and £0.7m ITB.

    Begovic (McCarthy)
    Azpil - Pieters - Clyne (Taylor/PVA)
Siggy - Zaha - Cesc - Sterling - Di Maria
    Costa - Balotelli (Naismith)

Thinking - Balotelli > Pelle (v QPR), do I use the other FT or nah?

Full backs have better bonus potential this year
Btw, Clyne has a better attacking threat, as does Bertrand

You only really need 11 outfield players at this stage of the season. Have 2 cheapos - ideally a 4.5 mid and a 4.0 defender - on the bench each week.

Need some advice here: Either shipping out Wisdom or Caulker for Clyne or Williams(Ashley) I already have Bertrand but kinda fancy doubling up on South D with their upcoming fixtures. Should I double up and snag Clyne or go for Williams?

          • 14 Years

I think it's a good principle not to ship out anyone who's been scoring points, so Wisdom to go. Mind you Wisdom's cheap as chips so I'm keeping him. I wouldn't double up on South D myself, so I guess Williams, or Neil Taylor who's only 4.5.

Hmm I could do Ramsey to ADM & Lamela to Chadli with my two free transfers and if I pushed it I would have exactly the right amout of cash to take a hit to do Naismith to Wellbeck. What do you think?

Overall i think it's slightly better but you will miss Ramsey.

Ivanovic needs to get back in the goals tomorrow to keep his streak of scoring every other game.

I'm already regretting captaining Baines over Rooney. Tomorrow will be fun.

Neither have even played yet! 😆 Keep the faith!

I'd expect at least a CS.

Never regret anything because at one time it was exactly what you wanted.

            Cheers Demi, wise words.

One pen and I'll be happy 🙂

The guy who has scored the most points so far for this gw had 79 and has Baines as 1st sub! What! Sanchez not playing will mean Baines comes on. Lucky.
