Definitely! Had the perfect WC team in GW3. Had Shawcross and Moreno lying in it at 4.6. Didn't sell them because I had the money to spare - not gonna happen again.
Now I'm desperately trying to find a transfer or two to get rid of them haha.
Around 150k overall, so I think I'm still fine right now. Need a big week or two though (last two were not so good).You'll get there absolutely, just keep with the sensible choices and moves. I find it's better if you don't aim for a massive week but just a good week, it's still at the point in the season where simply being 10 points above average can give a big green arrow.
Agreed. With my team I'm kinda expecting a "good" week every week. 50-60 points. Waiting for that one week where it goes boom though, that helps in making that big jump.
Haven't got my captains right much so far so it's mostly just about getting that right a couple of times.

For a total spend of 30.5m, so basically almost bottom of the barrel stuff. I didn't really bother with rotation. Briefly had Moreno for 2 GWs but went back to another 4.5m.
6 GWs in and I have had 10 CS from a possible 24, that's a 42% success rate.
Very pleased with that return on investment.Yep cheapo defense is working pretty well so far.

Here's my thinking:
a) Arsenal will create more chances + have some great fixtures in a week or two. Welbeck will start putting more chances away. Ozil starting to warm up potentially.
b) SOT in great form, with Pelle leading the line. He's got a great goalscoring pedigree and SOT are creating lots at the moment.
concern re: B is how long will that continue. Coaches will be scouting how they play etc and start shutting down their (new) dangerous players. Over the medium/long term i expect ARS to score more goals than SOT. That said I'd prefer to have Walcott over Welbeck longer term, so maybe i go with Pelle for now and assess later down the lineGone for Welbeck, the Arsenal midfield is a minefield so i'd rather have the man that taps them in 😉

Cabella and HBA are the same. They seem to 'think' they are goalscorers, but theyre not.
They should take a leaf from Mendieta's book, he ALWAYS played the pass cos he knew his shooting was poor. Its teh fact he knew it that made him so good at what he did....
If HBA played the right pass everytime he skinned a defender instead of shooting from 30yards he'd be playing at a top team yrs ago....
I digress from Tadic but I think he's a similar type of player. Will grab assists and a few goals but not likely to suddenly become prolific, lacks the killer instinct

If you see a noticable deterioration in his performances or southamptons play then swap him for Welbeck but right now its Pelle for me.
