Any chance Chester starts vs Palace?
-
-
🙁
-
-
-
Last Man Standing safety score to rise quite a bit as half the teams around the danger zone had Begovic.
-
Please not above 34!!! 😥
-
Will be around the mark. 36 for me & I'm not sure that's enough.
-
😥 😥
I'm not ready to leave so early!
-
-
-
Am I in danger with 42?
-
No.
-
Thanks
-
-
-
Just wondering if I am still in it mate... 🙂 How do I check?
-

See you next round 🙂-
Cheers! 😀
-
-
-
-
Mike W. looks and sounds like Pardew, IMO !
-
Anyone see Caballero as a long term prospect?
-
Na, Pelli said that Hart would be back.
-
na. think you'd be as bald as hm within a month with all the stress over every team sheet
-
Lol, indeed. 🙂
-
-
-
wohooooo 1 bp for bego!!
-
something ridiculous
-
I don't know why but I 😆 'd
-
I just figured I don't get taken seriously anyway, so I may as well post something ridiculous
so I went literal
-
-
-
Is there a chance that both Rooney and Ramsey drop tonight? If they do then I'll be 0.1m off my preferred transfers
-
-
I'm sorry for doubting you Wilsonnnnnn. I'm sorrrrrrrrrry.
-
I think the FPL gods feel sorry for me cheering on Begovic saves all night so they give him one bap anyway
-
You've done something different with your hair... haven't you!
-
cheering on saves is such an fpl specific thing. you will the oppo forward but as soon as they get too close you get worried and will them back out the area.
-
You want harmless shots from outside the area. The type that Coutinho specialises in.
-
-
You took my advice and got rid of that awful grav then!
-
Sold Moreno and bought Falcao. Had to be done
-
Good move
-
-
-
-
on WC which looks best?
A) Chambers & Wilson/van Aanholt
B) Clyne & Dummett
C) Kaboul & Duff/Hutton
Have Forster in nets-
I'd do A personally.
Your grav also had me confused for like 60 seconds thinking "when did I post that?".
-
-
Who has everybody settled on for their Rooney replacement then ?
-
Kun, but not settled.
-
Begovic
-
Haha that made me laugh 🙂 glad to hear you're coming around, and with your sense of humour intact 😀
-
I'm not coming around. Stoke are still horrendous.
You're like a gnat.
-
-
+1
-
-
Aguero as long as he stays fit!
Otherwise Pelle -
Aguero
-
What they said
-
Is there a way to get a poll? Similar to the captain one..?
-
Kun
-
Wow. Everybody has got mad bank to afford Aguero 😯
If he explodes I'm in trouble-
I keep captaining him hoping he will incite panic.
Perhaps this is the week. -
would rather get injured midweek!!
-
-
-
-
Them sweet CS points
http://cdn.desktopwallpapers4.me/media/thumbs_400x250/2/12871.jpg-
oh piss orf 😛
-
I swear. Doubling up on stoke has been hurting for a couple of weeks. Needed this CS.
-
Doubling up was a few seasons ago for me, wouldn't have went that way this season... yet 😉
-
Yup, regretted it. Silly stuff really.
You live and you learn.-
Aye aye, early part of the season is the time to make these mistakes really!
-
Definitely! Had the perfect WC team in GW3. Had Shawcross and Moreno lying in it at 4.6. Didn't sell them because I had the money to spare - not gonna happen again.
Now I'm desperately trying to find a transfer or two to get rid of them haha.
Around 150k overall, so I think I'm still fine right now. Need a big week or two though (last two were not so good).-
You'll get there absolutely, just keep with the sensible choices and moves. I find it's better if you don't aim for a massive week but just a good week, it's still at the point in the season where simply being 10 points above average can give a big green arrow.
-
Agreed. With my team I'm kinda expecting a "good" week every week. 50-60 points. Waiting for that one week where it goes boom though, that helps in making that big jump.
Haven't got my captains right much so far so it's mostly just about getting that right a couple of times.
Fun stuff 🙂 Hope yours is going alright too?
-
-
-
-
-
-
I know how you feel. I 'only' had Begovic, but I was starting to lose faith in stokes defense. Top defensive performance today, so reassuring going forwards
-
Yup. Plus the casuals will stop transferring him out. That should save his value.
-
-
-
-
Right risking it - holding off Rooney transfer till tomorrow. I look forward to checking the prices apprehensively tomorrow morning.
-
Dropping Lamela to get Welbeck for -4 really didn't go well 🙁
-
I started the season with this at the back ;
GKs 4.5m, 4m
Def 4.5m, 4.5m, 4.5m, 4.5m, 4m.
For a total spend of 30.5m, so basically almost bottom of the barrel stuff. I didn't really bother with rotation. Briefly had Moreno for 2 GWs but went back to another 4.5m.
6 GWs in and I have had 10 CS from a possible 24, that's a 42% success rate.
Very pleased with that return on investment.-
Yep cheapo defense is working pretty well so far.
-
Impressive
-
Thanks 🙂
I've just read it again and it sounds a bit show-offy but it was meant to highlight the perceived wisdom about "big" defenders in early season.
-
-
For an extra mill you could've had 15 or so
-
Possibly. With who though?
-
-
-
Best Rooney replacement (other strikers are Costa & Pelle)?
A Falcao
B Ulloa
C Wellbeck
D Dzeko
Don't have the cash for Kun unfortunately...-
In the same boat, ignoring the option of taking a hit for a Aguero (something I'm considering) I'd say either A or B for the coming GW although C from GW 8 looks decent.
-
-
Any big name misses expected in the UCL games this week?
Doing my UCL team atm. I know that Ibra is out.-
Will Kagawa actually play this week?
-
No idea.
Didn't start at the weekend.-
Wishful thinking on my part. Thanks!
-
-
-
-
Seriously struggling with who to bench next week:
Siggy Chadli Pelle Ulluo Fabregas
Leaning towards Chadli but can't bear to witness any more benched goals. Any thoughts?-
Ulloa even!
-
Fab
-
I fancy goals in the Arsenal game
-
-
I've benched Siggy for the last 2GW's for Chadli. No regrets. Selling next week.
-
Siggy at home to Newcastle may be too good to miss
-
Even thought Siggy's got Newcastle and Chadli's got Soton?
-
Yeah probably. Chadli was away to Arsenal and Siggy away to Sunderland and didn't make much difference.
-
-
-
I would do Chadli.
-
I would do his girlfriend, but whatever you're into....
-
-
-
Begovic becomes my second highest scorer this gameweek(if you count Costa as 6 not 12)....
-
Same here. Massive boost
-
Costa Bego and 2 defenders only ones to score more than 2 for me this week :/
-
3rd highest for me behind Pelle & Bertrand 😎 thanks for the opportunity to boast
-
Begovic is my highest. 😐
-
30% of my points came from Wisdom and Bego. Unexpected.
-
Same combo 😎
-
-
-
#pardewout
-
Surely the time is now.
-
#MoyesIn
-
It couldn't be a better fit really. Sweet perfection.
-
-
sounds like mating call
-
-
Downing
Silva
Tadic
For the next 2? -
Why does every U2 song sound the same?
-
Why is your grav missing a leg?
-
😯
-
Have you not read the story?
-
-
they know what their fans like 😆
-
Yeah they're shit and Bono is a pretentious nob.
-
Cheeky bar stewards put their new album on my I pad without asking. Needless to say I deleted it without a listen.
-
-
Thanks DemelB for your answer last page. Anyone else got a view on Pelle vs. Welbeck?
Here's my thinking:
a) Arsenal will create more chances + have some great fixtures in a week or two. Welbeck will start putting more chances away. Ozil starting to warm up potentially.
b) SOT in great form, with Pelle leading the line. He's got a great goalscoring pedigree and SOT are creating lots at the moment.
concern re: B is how long will that continue. Coaches will be scouting how they play etc and start shutting down their (new) dangerous players. Over the medium/long term i expect ARS to score more goals than SOT. That said I'd prefer to have Walcott over Welbeck longer term, so maybe i go with Pelle for now and assess later down the line-
Gone for Welbeck, the Arsenal midfield is a minefield so i'd rather have the man that taps them in 😉
Tadic in for Saints cover, folk on here seem to rate him, stats look good, just needs to explode.-
Tadic is another of those players with lots of creativity but he's just not a goalscorer - not yet anyway.
Cabella and HBA are the same. They seem to 'think' they are goalscorers, but theyre not.
They should take a leaf from Mendieta's book, he ALWAYS played the pass cos he knew his shooting was poor. Its teh fact he knew it that made him so good at what he did....
If HBA played the right pass everytime he skinned a defender instead of shooting from 30yards he'd be playing at a top team yrs ago....
I digress from Tadic but I think he's a similar type of player. Will grab assists and a few goals but not likely to suddenly become prolific, lacks the killer instinct
-
-
Pelle for his form and fixtures atm.
If you see a noticable deterioration in his performances or southamptons play then swap him for Welbeck but right now its Pelle for me.
And for what its worth I dont think Welbeck is suddenly going to become prolific, his finishing/composure is just second rate...-
Thanks both
-
-
I think both
-
-
That unexpected moment when you realize that Wilson+Wisdom+Bertrand + Krul have outscored Siggy + Di Maria + Hazard + Sterling + Aguero + Welbeck in your team
😯-
Wisdom and Bego outscored Siggy, Fabs, Sterling, Rambo, Rooney and Ulloa for me...
-
-
i can't remember who but someone on here got pieters off their bench against man city (remember how awful his assist was too). i think tonight was karma for that. sorry for anyone else who got sucked in to tonight's pieters related events. knowing that guy though he probably had scott dann 1st defensive sub
-
Karma's a bitch
-
-
An Aguero injury midweek would suit me to be honest. Nothing serious, just a tweak.
-
-
Classy.
-
You moral crusader!
-
-
lol. ditto. Who did you buy instead?
-
I am waiting. Will prob get Aguero if he doesn't get injured but I'd quite like Pelle.
-
-
Why? If you want to buy him then just do it.
-
-
Wtf happened to Moses' BAP?
-
it got squished
-
he wont get anything
-
-
which one out for the next round?
clyane
wilson
vanaholt -
I think I am gonna start to play 4 3 3. This looks like the key this season. Only defensive players delivers. Also winter is coming and the CS's will increase..
-
Has Pardew been sacked yet?
