Granville’s lackadaisical approach to the new campaign might just explain why he’s treading water. Missing deadlines and price rises, my ScoutCast co-host badly needs to introduce some organisation into his season if he’s to keep pace – the man needs a PA – get your applications in.

With Granville floundering, I’ve decided to lay down my Wildcard to potential rub further salt into his wounds. Is it a chronic case of “jerky knee”? Granville certainly thinks (hopes) so.

We chat over my Wildcard revolution, analyse how the heavy-hitting midfielders are failing to pull their weight and rinse through the usual regulars in the same disorganised fashion.

      6 points for 12.2 million (or whatever he is) isn't great really. If he starts looking like bigger hauls are on the way, then absolutely but I think City have been quite poor really and the knock on effect is fewer goals for Kun.

      I had a look at the stats, and apart from Bertrand's high number of crosses neither of them rank highly compared to other fullbacks in loads of categories. Definitely one where the stats are abit misleading.

      In anycase, the advantage used to be with Bertrand for being cheaper but it's a toss up.

        Will be the same as mine. I agree with him about the value in midfield. Fabregas and ADM have tough fixtures, are expensive, and only do assists.

            Can't put that much faith in fluke goals and class. For 10m a midfielder needs to have significant goal threat as well as assists.

              Guaranteed goals and assists is too much to ask for in my opinion. ADM provides a fair guarantee of assists plus a goal every now and then. Though, there's ideally only room for one of him and Fabregas.

                    Every season there are bargains. Best to jump on before they get away. If you continue with blind faith that the more expensive they are the better they are then you will miss out on the bandwagons such as Ramsey last year.

          Fabregas is a big time player, he will deliver despite fixtures and he is second in the midfield rankings so far by 1 point!

          ADM has 30 points in 4 games! And is central to everything United will do going forward, especially now that Rooney is out.

          Sterling is on fire.

            Yep I own Sterling so I'm happy with him.

            I would argue that ADM has been very lucky so far, his numbers aren't great and he isn't going to score with every shot on target.

            Fabregas I do like but has played very deep of late. He's like another Gerrard at the moment. Just not my cup of tea. I already have Ivan and Costa and with those fixtures I'm not keen on tripling up.

          Sanchez isn't starting and Wally is still out. ADM has tough fixtures and hasn't got a great record when it comes to goals. Too expensive for just assists.

              Walcott is the only one I'm serious about getting in. Will need to see how he reacts to the injury however. Some suggest he will have lost a yard of pace which might prove to be significant.

                A minefield Ryan. Wally is a great player but then look at all the others...no slouches. Even Ox is playing really well. All I can see is a lot of rotation no matter how good some of those Arsenal mids are.
