After the best Gameweek tally in living memory, I reserve the right for a bit of a gloat. Having risked the Wildcard back in Gameweek 7, the stars aligned and everything fell into place last weekend, leaving my ScoutCast co-host, grumpy Granville, grabbing at straws and smashing TV sets in frustration.

After last season’s defeat, I revel in my moment of glory but still find time to lock horns with Granville over the great Costa debate. Is Jose playing with our minds? I certainly think so but, as Granville points out, I reckon the Lunar landings were fake. I love a good conspiracy, me.

    Usually don't have any trouble making a quick FF decision, but Berahino or Welbeck is really bothering me. I've even taken out site membership for the comparison tool !! (No spoilers)

    Buying Welbeck means losing Downing
    Buying Berahino means I can upgrade an injured Marney or Downing and bank the cash.

    I don't have any Arsenal players and that worries me the most. I think Berahino is the better player and finisher. So, which do you prefer?

      Arsenal really aren't clicking at the moment. And no Ozil/Wilshere this weekend will mean a lot of emphasis on Alexis.

      I wouldn't let the 3 Southampton thing sway you. They're scoring really well and the fixtures are great for another 4 weeks. That said I think Welbeck vs Pelle is still an open question, and I don't really know what to tell you.

    FPLstatistics show about 4,400 more people would need to pick up Wisdom before a price increase. Think you are safe to wait, but there is some risk. FPLstats hasn't been perfect, but pretty accurate.

      Welbeck, but just barely. Lukaku hasn't been that good against the teams you'd expect him to kill ... and those teams are up next. With Ramsey back, Welbz should get more good feeds.
