After the best Gameweek tally in living memory, I reserve the right for a bit of a gloat. Having risked the Wildcard back in Gameweek 7, the stars aligned and everything fell into place last weekend, leaving my ScoutCast co-host, grumpy Granville, grabbing at straws and smashing TV sets in frustration.

After last season’s defeat, I revel in my moment of glory but still find time to lock horns with Granville over the great Costa debate. Is Jose playing with our minds? I certainly think so but, as Granville points out, I reckon the Lunar landings were fake. I love a good conspiracy, me.

    Terry > Baines has been the plan all week, I was happy to wait it out on Costa but with price changes tonight have got me ready to pull the trigger on Costa > Pelle.

    Does using my 2 fts on those and then getting Costa back next week look a decent plan?

          Well Milner is not as nailed on as some other players if that is your factor. Nasri on his way back and pressure from Navas and Yaya likely to take up another midfield spot. I think Brunt could be worth it as a short term option at that price over the next 3 gameweeks

            Coleman could become Wilson to do Barkley to Sterling/Walcott but then the defence would be weak. Hazard over Fab adds to the weak defence as well but I think he's gonna start upping his points game

      Barkely will be rotated, even with Mirallas out. Martinez can't help himself. Also think you need a second keeper that will play when SOTON starts their run of tough fixtures.

    Asked this earlier and the answer I got was Sterling. I want to get a few more opinions before I pull the trigger.

    Should I get rid of Sterling, Hazard or Di Maria to get Eriksen, in order to afford Aguero?

      I wouldn't bring in Lamela ... but assuming you have to do so, i'd get rid of ADM first. This is based on fixtures and potential injury only. Think Haz will kill QPR (esp. if Costa out) and Sterling may end up as lone striker/only valuable Pool player.

    Main reason i am selling Costa is not because of the injury, although that provides the excuse

    Its more that i feel Pelle and Baines will outscore Moreno and Costa over the next four weeks

      Guzan CS vs. QPR likely. Krul CS vs. Spurs not going to happen. I'd pull the trigger. Only tough fixtures upcoming for Villa are Spurs and Pool, but of which are home.
