After the best Gameweek tally in living memory, I reserve the right for a bit of a gloat. Having risked the Wildcard back in Gameweek 7, the stars aligned and everything fell into place last weekend, leaving my ScoutCast co-host, grumpy Granville, grabbing at straws and smashing TV sets in frustration.

After last season’s defeat, I revel in my moment of glory but still find time to lock horns with Granville over the great Costa debate. Is Jose playing with our minds? I certainly think so but, as Granville points out, I reckon the Lunar landings were fake. I love a good conspiracy, me.

          I don't know. Have got 2 FT's, Costa and Aguero, and no clue what to do.

          Would preferably transfer him out for Pelle (or another striker) and get Baines + other upgrades in, but if Costa is fit I need him in my team.

          I'd always go with the most nailed on player if money was no issue...so Lescott I suppose, although Wisdom is the better pick provided Gamboa doesn't show his hand.

            I don't think Lescott is good value, but you're right I guess he is the most nailed on. Wisdom seems best value, but most threatened. I'm confused 🙁

          Depends who your other defenders and and which cheapies you are rotating. Ive found that if you own Duff, Wisdom and Moore all have at least one solid home fixture amongst the three over the next few game weeks. If you then have two good defenders play them regardless.

          I think the general consensus is that Aguero owners should keep Costa. Is anyone else worth the risk of replacing Costa? Not really. Pelle maybe, but it's 4 GWs before you'd sell him again.

              Wouldn't be so bad having Pelle for 4 weeks before bringing costa back. How tight are funds? Would Coleman do instead? Haven't decided myself yet met but Costa is expected to drop and Pelle rise tonight in case you weren't aware.

          I think the Costa output can be matched elsewhere assuming the funds are reinvested to Chelsea for QPR. Hazard + Berainho vs say Siggy + Costa over next 3 GW? With all the doubt surrounding him people are unlikely to captain him therefore limiting the damage for those who do choose to sell.

        Do I lose 0.1 every time he drops by 0.1 or does he have to drop 0.2 to lose 0.1, the same if he were to rise ??
