A lot of love for ADM. I sold him last week. Obviously a great player but historically not a massive goal scorer. Bit surprised at the amount of hype he has on here, I thought he would be seen as a David Silva type player.

I sold Sterling because Liverpool are looking poor and United equally so.

Suppose he has the fixtures now to prove me wrong in a big way but surely I cant be the only one to think he isnt worth his price?

That's what I thought when he first came to the league, and his early performances didn't have the stats to back up his returns. But since he's been shifted to the wing he's added a decent number shots to go with his incredible assist numbers. Throw in the fact that he's the only elite midfielder who is guaranteed to play every minute that he's fit and I think he's a great pick.

I understand what you mean, the QPR goal was fortunate, as have been 3 of his assist which came via mis-hit shots(I think). But he has a heavy influence in United's attacking play in fixtures like the one coming up, he'll be the one relied upon to unpick the Palace defence and he should deliver, whether that be via a set-play, or in play assist/goal.

Difference is he is the big fish at United and has more freedom to do what he likes, this includes shooting a silly amount and pumping in balls something chronic. But from a Fantasy perspective his greed is a good thing.

Who needs to go here - Cahill? Sterling? Get Aguero / Sanchez in?

    Krul - Myhill
    Cahill - Baines - Clyne - Wisdom - Dummett
Hazard - Di Maria - Sterling - Sigurdsson - Marney
    Costa - Pellè - Berahino

I think they moved that new French boy they got to LB and shifted Vergini to the right. Could have that reversed though. But those two played fullback after Brown was brought in.

Interesting, either way Coleman has to benefit the most from this injury no?
I have feeling all those BPS will be coming his way next week

              • 12 Years
              11 years, 5 months ago

I think you may be reading a bit too much into it 🙂 PvA has the pace to track back with anyone but he also goes so far forward he is often out of position. Coleman is a good option no matter who the opposing LB is I think.

    Many captaining ADM next week?

I don't really see the appeal as he's playing out wide as a winger now.

His purple patch was down to the fact that he played centrally as part of the diamond.

    1. sinik
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

he was played as an LCM and went wide just as often as he was central

      1. pundit of punts
        • 13 Years
        11 years, 5 months ago

Of course he did go wide at times to support the full back but predominantly he was central and made runs from there which got him most of his FPL points.

Now he stays on the wing most of the times and I think that reduces his points potential.

I disagree. I think what reduced his point potential is that they were playing Chelsea and Citeh (With 10 men for more than half the game) and even still he had a couple of real chances to score in both games + all his crosses/set pieces.

Got rid for that exact reason, just too much points potential in attack atm. Lucked in by bringing in Costa & Chambers for Welbeck & Baines and it paid for the hit.

      ADM Tadic Hazard Sanchez Boyd

If Costa , minimum way of getting him for me is
Hazard > Downing this week , then after break
Berahino Cyne> Costa Wilson for -4
Chelsea play WBA so can captain Costa to cover hit

          Yes.

Hazard not a very good FPl player this season.

Playing very well but is not getting any closer to FPl points. Inconsistent returns at that price.

Depends, I think whilst Sanchez is on form Swansea could be tough and after that its United at home. Conversely I doubt Chelsea will be conservative against Pool and after that its WBA so they could be scoring goals.

Alluding to the point above though, whilst Haz is inconsistent he will score a lot of points over the season but this makes him far from Captain material. At 10mil I think you want a player you can trust more so I would stick with Sanchez as he is Arsenal go to guy, on set pieces and more likely to attract BPS in a less competitive side.

Not for -4, Hazard is playing really well atm and I think that will eventually turn into FPL points, is Sanchez really going to keep this up, 3 double figure hauls in consecutive weeks surely that is not sustainable.

Just out of interest: Anyone on here ever captained a player with a negative score, or seen someone else do it?
So normally the player would get -1, but as you have them as (c) you get -2. Always wanted to witness someone do this.

Is it worth playing my wildcard to recover 8 point hit plus getting Baines in for Clyne (via a bit of pruning)?
