The ScoutCast – Episode 142 – Tight

There was just a wafer-thin point separating myself and Granville in Gameweek 11, despite my rivals decision to ignore the force of nature that is Alexis Sanchez.

In a svelte but packed episode of the ScoutCast, my co-host and I discuss the Chilean’s “essential” charms and pile praise on the reborn Stewart Downing and the new, reliable Leighton Baines v2.

Around the usual regulars, we drop in on some old favourites, as Aleks Kolarov discovers new methods of running Granville’s Gameweek and I somehow manufacture a way of snuggling under the Van Persie duvet. We also carry on nudging the Harry Kane-wagon, run our teams through the Gargatron computer and go on “Warnock Watch” once more.

Squeeze into this episode out via this link or sample its tautness via the player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Foster
    Baines, Clyne, Chambers
    Fabregas, Di Maria, Sanchez, Downing
    Costa, Aguero, Berahino

Do I play Wisdom or Chambers? Captain Aguero?

Thanks all. I would play Wisdom but I feel like I'm taking too much of a risk on WBA. Foster, Wisdom and Berahino. If they lose 1-0 it's a big coverage of loss.

    Still on this!

    Current squad...

    DDG Gilks
    Clyne Chambers Wisdom Colo Chester
    Sanchez Fabregas AdM Downing Marney
    Aguero Costa Sakho

But TAKEN 8 POINT HIT TO GET THIS

if I PLAY MY WILDCARD I can GET MY 8 POINTS BACK and integrate BAINES....

    Foster Myhill
    Baines Chambers Wisdom Dummett Yun
    Sanchez Fabregas AdM Downing Boyd
    Aguero Costa* Sakho

*i could also possibly take Pelle instead of Costa for a week and then switch back

    WORTH MY WC?

    Thanks 🙂 .

I've already taken the 8 this week though. Could recover it with WC but it's marginal.

Never kept WC post January one (or even this long) so don't know whether it's really worth 8 points (+ Baines) later on or not.

It's tough. I think I'd stick at the -8 and save the WC for DGW. You'll make better use of it, or it will be more valuable then.

    ______ ________
    Baines Wisdom Yun Saylor __________
    Sanchez Adm Downing Boyd Oscar
    Aguero Costa Sakho

    A) Fabianksi + Jakupovic + Vlaar/4.5 (Jaku covers the next 2 tough fixtures of Fab)

    B) Foster + Myhill + Alderweireld(Naylor in a few weeks)..

Both options leave just enough cash for Oscar to Wally in 2 weeks.

Could do Sterling>Downing/Diame/Chadli and then keep the funds for the Int break with your 2FTs.

Depends how you think he'll do against Chelsea.

I have almost the exact same team..
Exceptions: Foster for Elliot, Duff for Wisdom, Chambers for Chester, Bertrand for Clyne.
Would you rather have mine or yours going forward?
You beat me by 3500 in Rank..

What a tough decision for captain this week..... im stumped

    A) Aguero
    B) ADM
    C) Sahko
    D) Costa
    E) Sanchez

Please help me choose. Aguero against QPR who have conceded the most goals so far, ADM against a weak crystal p side, sahko against an awful villa team without benteke then theres costa against a liverpool side who are not in form and how can we forget sanchez! Hard times
