Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.

How come no bps for clyne?

    1. World XI
      11 years, 11 months ago

      Yellow card was a factor.

    2. Wrong Captain Choice - Ag i…

I was amazed at that myself!!!

    3. Walsh

The system accounts for a lot more than goals this year and he was pretty rubbish the entire game.

      1. NATSTER
        11 years, 11 months ago

Decent defensive stats as compared to other saints DF though.

        1. Walsh
          11 years, 11 months ago

He looked very poor today to me. His first touch was off countless times and I can't recall a single good cross he sent in the entire game.

          1. Royal5
            11 years, 11 months ago

Can you recall any other Saint player to send a successful cross into the box? Bertrand had the only one.

            1. Walsh

I'm not comparing him to other Saints players.

Didn't see the match so can't say. But whatever the the performance, someone who scores the equalising goal in the 86th min needs to get some bps. System sucks

            1. Walsh
              11 years, 11 months ago

              Perhaps 😀

      2. SpaceCadet
        11 years, 11 months ago

Thanks. But find it cruel that defender who scored the only goal doesn't get any bps. Tough system

        1. Woy of the Wovers
          11 years, 11 months ago

He gets 6pts for the goal!!!

          1. Royal5
            11 years, 11 months ago

Dude. Agbonlahor got 3 points and he is a striker. And he did nothing at all except scoring the goal. The bonus system is fecked.

            1. Walsh
              11 years, 11 months ago

Agbonlahor had a terrific game. Think we may have been watching a different game today, Royal 🙂

                11 years, 11 months ago

Seriously? He gave Clyne the goal by not marking him. Think you need to watch the replays Walsh 😉

                1. Royal5
                  11 years, 11 months ago

But as you can tell I am a bitter man who could´ve needed those baps 😛

      3. Owd Big 'Ed
        11 years, 11 months ago

To be honest I thought he played pretty well. Can't remember him putting a foot wrong to be honest, whipped in a couple of poor crosses maybe, but his general play was solid.

Impresses me more and more each time I see him.

        1. Walsh
          11 years, 11 months ago

I think the goal he scored is clouding the judgement. It was the first time I've seen Clyne and not been impressed, mind.

          1. Owd Big 'Ed
            11 years, 11 months ago

I agree with you with regard to the crossing, but that was the same all around the park for Southampton tonight.

Just checked and 88% (44/50) of his passes were successful, that's pretty decent.

            1. Walsh
              11 years, 11 months ago

Villa park the bus all game and put zero pressure on the fullbacks down the flanks, he better have a pass completion percentage like that.

      4. Royal5
        11 years, 11 months ago

Are you serious? He played pretty well. better than most Saints players tbh

        1. Walsh
          11 years, 11 months ago

I'm not comparing him to other Saints players. He had basically zero defensive responsibilities today and I thought he was poor going forward as a whole, bar the goal. Didn't like the way he looked today, sorry Royal5! Usually I am a very big fan, again, first time I saw him this year and didn't think he looked good.

          1. Royal5
            11 years, 11 months ago

Not saying he was great, but it was a poor game with low quality. And with no clean sheets and him beeing a defender with only two goal scorers he should´ve had 1 or 2 baps imo

            1. Walsh
              11 years, 11 months ago

              Fair play.

    Guzan**Given

    Bartley**Yun**Baines**Azpilicueta**Hutton

I can just afford this no money in bank (I realise that bartley wont play in a few weeks too)

Baines Clyne Moreno Taylor Moore 0itb 1 transfer

    Something has to change.

Who looks like decent to get in?

Main options i'm considering right now is Moreno out for Smalling (He will stay in first team right?), Chambers

    or

    Yun in for Moore

    1. Walsh
      11 years, 11 months ago

I'd prefer Moore out for Yun.

Yep. It looks inevitable that he'll get it before the turn of the year, plus the fixtures are against him. Nothing much in him to hold into. Clyne I can hold a little bit longer..

Yep, this is very much debatable. I'm on his camp for fixtures, #1 striker at the club and peno duties. Ulloa, otoh, doesn't have that (although he took one PK already without Nugent on the filed).

          1. Puyol Pants Up

Indeed. Still got Baines and Downing. And with Pelle out already, I'm only left with Clyne (used to have 3 Saints). Clyne can stay a bit longer imo, City is not looking rock solid at all.

Flair, sure, just have a deep bench as he was getting rotated due to EL before and now with the heavy fixture congestion who knows how Martinez will name is team sheets.

Pelle and chadli > costa/ Rooney and Boyd for a hit make sense? Provided Baines, downing and sakho are ok for the weekend.

Depends if Chadli is your 4th/5th mid. If he is your 4th, then no.
