A day of eight Premier League encounters gets underway in the early kick-off at the Hawthorns. West Brom host Arsene Wenger’s men as they look to halt a slide of back-to-back defeats. Meanwhile, Arsenal arrive in the Midlands having also suffered consecutive setbacks and still smarting from the loss to United in their own backyard.

There’s little doubt that Fantasy managers will be looking to Alexis Sanchez in this one. With both Sergio Aguero and Diego Costa facing tricky away trips, the Sanchez option has crept up to second in our Captain poll and, clearly, there’s a swell of support for the Chilean in today’s encounter. As for West Brom, their Fantasy potential has been limited to the goal output of Saido Berahino – a supply that’s run dry for the last three matches. A hesitant Gunners back four may well be just the tonic to halt the 6.0 striker’s rapid decline in ownership.

A batch of six afternoon kick-offs follow on from this, before Chelsea make their trip to the Stadium of Light to take on Gus Poyet’s giant-killing Sunderland this evening.

      last time i captained costa at the last moment taking it off frm sanchez, that was the gw when sanchez scored 2 and costa didnot and today i captained sanchez at the last moment taking it from costa. KARMA?

        A herd mentality does tend to prevail here & sometimes drives sub-optimal decision making. On another day, Sanchez scores a brace though, so at least it's only 3 days till next GW 🙂

      funny thing is I have Sanchez (c), ADM (v) and was going to change it as I was falling asleep so I could just root for my United player but was too tired to open the computer 😆

        he will come good again but a lot of money if you only just got him...i got him in for one good gameweek and two blanks....will give him more time but at least he is easy to trade out for ADM/Haz possibly YaYa too

      For those who captained Sanchez is was a good choice. Costa, Di Maria, etc. can easily blank too so don't worry. Not owning Chambers is destroying me in my ML but I refuse to get him since Debuchy will be back soon...
