A day of eight Premier League encounters gets underway in the early kick-off at the Hawthorns. West Brom host Arsene Wenger’s men as they look to halt a slide of back-to-back defeats. Meanwhile, Arsenal arrive in the Midlands having also suffered consecutive setbacks and still smarting from the loss to United in their own backyard.

There’s little doubt that Fantasy managers will be looking to Alexis Sanchez in this one. With both Sergio Aguero and Diego Costa facing tricky away trips, the Sanchez option has crept up to second in our Captain poll and, clearly, there’s a swell of support for the Chilean in today’s encounter. As for West Brom, their Fantasy potential has been limited to the goal output of Saido Berahino – a supply that’s run dry for the last three matches. A hesitant Gunners back four may well be just the tonic to halt the 6.0 striker’s rapid decline in ownership.

A batch of six afternoon kick-offs follow on from this, before Chelsea make their trip to the Stadium of Light to take on Gus Poyet’s giant-killing Sunderland this evening.

        teams havent changed THAT much in the last 2 seasons. football is a game of matchups and history does tend to repeat itself. believe what you want, not here to convince you so just keep rolling your eyes

          Now, the following two quotes are from Jeff Ma who was one of the members of the MIT blackjack team...

          "Not only is (3) games not a substantial sample size, but many different players and coaches participated in those (matches for Arsenal & WBA) over the course of many different seasons. This statistic has no predictive relevance."

          So, if he confirms this type of thinking is bunk then I'll tend to agree...

      Changing the cheap strikers too often is a good way to miss out on all of their points - with WBA fix still being fine I don't think keeping Bera is a bad idea.

      That said I do think he overperformed a bit during his points spree because of penalties.
