Just a final reminder that entry for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup X is set to close at 9am tomorrow morning. Once that deadline has passed, we’ll process the results and will then announce the qualifiers and First Round draw on Wednesday afternoon – while we’ve yet to analyse the draw, we can tell you that Mark and Granville’s ScoutCast team earned 62 points last weekend and look like going through, so get your teams in for the chance to take them on.

To enter, simply fill out the entry form here. You will be asked to verify your FPL team ID – note that, if you fail to confirm your ID, you will not be entered. You will be sent a confirmation email to verify your entry. You can also check that you are entered via this list.

As mentioned previously, the First Round is set to take place over Gameweek 15, i.e. this coming weekend. If you’re looking for more information on the cup schedule and prizes available, click this link for a more thorough rundown.

        I am not worried about Costa. Him not getting BP denies his captain potential IMO. YYT is on the rise and will play every fixture. I am not sure that Costa will start every game during the festive period. Also, when Yoyo scores he gets BP. Have Hazard Sanchez and Kun for captains so I think I am good to go.

        Selling Costa is still a risk but a calculated one. It all depends
        Chadli plus Costa or
        YYT plus Kane and extra money at the end

        In ml that i play, player is locked when he is selected in 5 of 20 teams... Di Maria is currently on 5 so if i sell him i must get him back next week so others cant lock him... Its complicated coz i cant buy Sanchez or Fabregas from the start of the season, so Di Maria is one of few differentials left...

    Playing my wild card this gameweek - have always gone heavy on forwards over the tears and that has usually served me well. Currently 11k and had almost the cheapest defence possible all year long but now going for this until winter WC in GW23.

    Part of me still tempted to get Rooney and restructure the defence but the logical part of me brain is pretty content with that team though as soon as 7.45 hits tomorrow I'm sure some glaringly obvious omission will hit me. Thoughts on the above team please?

      Too much in defence. Gives you selection problems each week as well. The 2 cheap forwards causes you problems if a big forward hits form. Downgrade one of chelsea def and clichy and upgrade forward

    Hazard should be a good captaincy option this week.
    Spurs will probably lose 3/4 nil and Hazard will be the focal point with Costa out.
    Kaboul, Vert, Fazio etc all prone to giving away penalties too..

    Man City scored when they got pushed by Southampton.
    Sunderland will not push. They will just sit back and score on the counter.
    Sunderland always (last 4 PL results) win 1-0
