Our Friday lunchtime look at the PlayON Player Price List arrives once again as the packed festive schedule continues. As always, we offer a couple of picks per position: one essential weekend target and a left-field alternative for your consideration.

Fantasy managers should be aware that PlayON have now extended the deadline for submitting your teams. Previously, the cut-off point was two hours before the first kick-off in a Gameweek but now you can now tinker with your starting XI right up until the first match in each Gameweek gets underway.

PlayON has Freeroll games and Guaranteed Pot games running each week for the rest of the season at www.PlayON.co. This week they have £350 in Freerolls and over £2,000 in Guaranteed Pots on offer – to get your free entry into the Freerolls just follow them on Twitter at https://twitter.com/PlayON and like them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/PlayON

Goalkeeper – Hugo Lloris
After a midweek defeat at Chelsea, Spurs will be hoping for an easier test at home to Crystal Palace this weekend. The Frenchman has kept a paltry three clean sheets this season but having only conceded a single goal in his last three home appearances, will be hoping for a shut-out against an Eagles side that failed to score at home to Aston Villa in midweek. At 7.8m, Lloris is by no means a budget option but with 12 saves (worth 200 points apiece in PlayON) could still prove worthwhile should he fail to keep out Neil Warnock’s side. Chelsea, on the other hand, registered a fourth successive clean sheet in all competitions in midweek – an ominous sign for their title challengers. Thibaut Courtois may be the joint-top most expensive keeper at a price of 8.2m but the Belgian remains the cheapest route into the Blues backline away to a Newcastle side that has scored twice in the last three Gameweeks.

Defender – Alan Hutton
After keeping three clean sheets in the first four Gameweeks, Aston Villa fell victim to a terrible run of fixtures which forced their defenders off our radars. Paul Lambert looks to have finally steadied the ship again, though, and with just two goals conceded in their last four outings, Villa will be confident of keeping out a Leicester City side that has failed to score in four of their last five on the road. Available for just 6.0m this weekend, Hutton is an inexpensive enabler whose forward raids could yet reap reward in the final third. A home clash with Swansea brings West Ham’s Aaron Cresswell (7.4m) into contention. Big Sam’s side have conceded just once in the last four at Upton Park, whilst the Swans have scored only two goals in their previous four road trips. With a goal and assist in two of his last three at Upton Park, the summer signing looks in great form at both ends of the pitch right now.

Midfielder – Jordan Henderson
Back-to-back wins over Stoke and Leicester points towards an upturn in fortunes for Liverpool as Sunderland pay visit to Anfield. Henderson has only missed one match this season and is starting to pull his weight with two goals and three assists, including a strike away to Leicester on Tuesday night. At 8.3m, he’s a far cheaper option than Raheem Sterling (12.2m) and his defensive work – including interceptions and tackles – is almost smiled upon kindly by the PlayON Scoring Matrix. The essential midfielder this week is Christian Eriksen (10.9m). Despite a seemingly underwhelming season, the Tottenham playmaker has still managed five goals and with two strikes and an assist in his previous three, looks in promising form for the visit of Crystal Palace.

Forward – Nikica Jelavic
Four goals in the opening seven Gameweeks brought Jelavic onto Fantasy managers’ radars, before his season was curtailed by injury. The Hull frontman has failed to score since returning late last month but, after serving up a midweek assist against former club Everton, he’s starting to pick up the points just in time for a plum home clash with West Brom. At a price of just 8.2m, the Croatian looks tempting against a defence with a single clean sheet in eight attempts. The Premier League’s in-form player, Sergio Aguero is impossible to ignore. The City striker now has 14 goals in as many matches and entertains an Everton side that have conceded in each of their last five away trips – at 15.0m, he is anything but budget-friendly but given his red-hot displays, Aguero looks like a necessary inclusion to our squads.

Head over to www.PlayON.co and get your teams in for the £350 in Freerolls and £2,000 in guaranteed pots.

don't get the clamour for Benteke. Villa simply don't create much at all, he made the goal for himself the other night (took it superbly I must say) but Bony / Lukaku must have more chances per game. Fixtures are good but I think he'll still be way off match sharpness until 2015.

this is also true. I am perhaps biased as I brought him in around November last year when his fixtures were awesome, he blanked in every game and was even dropped at one point. definitely a bit of historic bias on my part, I really rate him when he's on form, just not at the moment.

his point is his team don't create enough for a striker like him, he thrives in the box.

if you want a prolific striker in your team, you need someone who has got players around him to create. i've said he's a good player but how many goals has benteke made for himself over the years? he ain't a suarez. he's a penalty box striker. i've already scalded you in the post below so starting to feel bad now.

The Thing is if villa are going to score its probably gonna him. They just won their first game in last 10, I think with or without Benteke goal stats might help.

Sit one behind spurs for chances created over the last 2 weeks. Give or take around the average for a lot of teams, that convinces me. Plus moral with be different with nutjob gone

Villa are the 4th lowest team in terms of goal attempts, 2nd lowest in terms of shots in the box.

Have a look at the last 2, it's a great improvement. I'm not saying he's going to get a brace per game or anything. But the signs are there that the team is improving with him in there

Teams attack vs Villa. You don't need the likes of Silva, Mata, Cazorla to cut teams open.

I shipped him and then watched in horror as he absolutely flayed Spurs in the first half of that match. If he doesn't get that red card he is likely the default third striker around here. The stats are also favorable over the last two matches.

As a Villa fan I must put my ten pence worth in.....I actually put Benteke in on Tuesday night for his goal against Palace Woohoo.

Now I hear what your saying about him not getting much supply but I think he will do well over this run of fixtures and heres why:

      - Decent Fixtures obviously
      - Back fit, well rested, determined to make up for lost time
      - Last season not as good as 1st season but still got 10 prem goals in equivalent of 23 games
      - He played a lot of last season with Injures / coming back from injury
      - Takes penalties, and when Gabby is on the pitch there is always a chance of a Pen
      - Can score all types of goals - Penalty Box poacher / headers from corners / run like the other night / overhead kicks / 20 yard shots etc there aint many strikers who have this ability.
      - He will help us create more as his hold up play will let others get up the field something we haven't had

Wow after reading that he really is the messiah, cue a blank and a transfer request !!

Yaya will play. Sanchez may be on the bench but he'll be fit for the next game. in all honesty Sanchez is more likely to miss the CL game, he'll then have next midweek off too which sets him up for the festive period.

Now even more confused. I am very fond on Kane and he should be good until January. Ings fixtures stiffen after the QPR game.

Also Kane has Swans away next week if I need to do it than.

Also don't like that my forwards are playing against each other. ITs one game. I need to hope for goal fest like in the championship that 3:3 would be great 😉

Kane has a lot of SoT too, that scares me he could explode

I think we'll be better defensively without the clumsy Morgan back there.

      0-0, for me.

Given SOT's lack of mids, what are those with Forster doing? Getting rid or keeping?

What's the consensus on an exit strategy for Chambers when Debuchy is back?

    Assuming value of about 5.0.

    Good to go?

    Fabianski (Elliot)
Azpilicueta - Yun - Hutton (Moore, Pocognoli)
Hazard - Sanchez - Downing - Siggy (Boyd)
    Aguero - Costa - Austin

Defence is weak, waiting for fitness of Santon, will have him in eventually.

G2G or do I need to do something with ADM or Mannone or Man Utd cover?

    Guzan - Mannone
    Baines - Wisdom - Azpi - Yun - Duff
    Sanchez - Haz - Oscar - ADM - Wanyama
    Kun - Kane - Berahino

    2 FT and £0.0 ITB.

    Thoughts appreciated!

I asked this earlier and got one vote for each!

Which one of these would you rather keep for the season starting from now?

    a) Chadli

    or

    b.) Lallana

    or

    c) Tadic

    ???

    Thanks

    A) Duff
    B) Bartley

Need to take one of them out for Hutton, who I presume has cemented his place?

Could I please ask for some advice on what will be a boring decision whichever way it goes! With my FT do I:

A: Swap Krul for Elliot (who I want for the xmas run in, although I would probably want to play Heaton over him this week anyway)

B: Swap PvA for Hutton (which again I want to do long term, although if I play him this week it would be over Boyd)

C: Save my FT, play Boyd & Heaton, then see the lie of the land next week

    Cheers!!!

Looks like Aguero is very likely to start, that's good.
Sanchez's fitness being in the red zone isn't good. Doubt Wenger will drop him though. He IS Arsenal this season.
