While Gameweek 15 is shaping up to be one to forget for many Fantasy managers, our analysis of the weekend’s statistics for members offers some insight to distract us, notably the growing influence of Yannick Bolasie and West Ham’s efforts to maximise the formidable weapon that is Andy Carroll.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I wouldn't want Mangala AND Kompany in my team, just wait for pressers and see Kompany's status

I kind of like Yun. He won't hurt your team with fouls. Solid player, right?

Ok, I think I narrowed down my transfers. Thoughts are appreciated.

    1) FT: Aguero > Bony (I can field 11 with Boyd and no ManCity cover)

    2) Aguero + Eriksen > Bony + Yaya (-4)

    thanks ahead

Thanks Walsh, the only thing is on my mind is a ManCity attacking cover for their run of fixtures

I agree with this, but you can survive for one game and if he picks up a yellow after bringing him in for a hit that would be very troublesome. And if there is anyone who will pop up with a double digit surprise after looking like a piece of shit the previous week his name is Christian Eriksen.

    Option 1: 3-5-2

Boyd + Aguero > Yaya + Austin (bench Kane most weeks)

    Baines / Azpi / Wisdom

suprised people still have so much faith in costa

some great cheaper options doing as well if not better recent weeks

bony, benteke, sakho, dzeko, austin, kane

all of the above have potential to score well, alot of money invested in costa and handicapping the team imo

I'm not sure whether to pick him yet but with those fixtures I do wonder if there's a hattrick in there somewhere.

Also, is Sakho a rotation risk now with Carroll and Valancia starting upfront?

    4. ALegendJ

I agree, I owned him all season so far, I wouldn't ditch. But I wouldn't go out of my way to get him neither

    5. Zasa
      11 years, 10 months ago

Indeed, I'm fine with Hazard for now during the home games.
Currently with Oscar & Hazard though.

If I was in the top 1k, I'd consider him. Poor BAPs, loose cannon, but has the chance to tick goals over a certain period of time.

Not for me though, bad value, bad form. That in mind though, he seems to be the safety blanket for the Aguero trasbfer

kane has to be a fad for me. carroll should be added.

totally agree tho, bony/benteke/austin all look like going toe to toe with costa and a lot cheaper. bony is the one tho. think he will score more points than costa here on in and 2.6m cheaper.

    7. Lizard Lips
      11 years, 10 months ago

think its the fear factor of others owning him and not having him.

      1. Reedy
        11 years, 10 months ago

Yeah that'll come in to it too. Easy to forget he's 50% owned! A scary stat but not while he's just plodding along like he is.

    8. Reedy
      11 years, 10 months ago

Have to agree, he doesn't seem to be worth his asking price at the moment. I can only think people appreciate having a fire-and-forget, consistent performer - he's a bit like a forward version of Fabregas. But you can't really captain him, he's not explosive enough.

I can see a rest at home to west ham, with southampton away two days later. If you bring him in now, he basically HAS to get you points vs Hull.

  8. Rafinho

If i'll do Aguero -> Costa:

    Forster - (Guzan)
    Bertrand - Azpilicueta - Hutton - Baines
    Sanchez - Hazard - Siggy - Downing
    Costa - Bony
    Subs: Guzan, Boyd, Chambers, Austin

    3,1 ITB

Is there a need to take a hit? Chambers dropping 0,1 won't change his selling value anyway

  9. Waterboyd
    11 years, 10 months ago

    Still unsure of this transfer.

Sigurdsson -> Yaya Toure. Aguero -> Bony for -4.

Other mids are Eriksen, Hazard, Sanchez, Boyd.

Not keen on moving Boyd as I'll have to think about benches every week. Not keen on Eriksen, because, well, Eriksen.

He hasnt had a proper run of games yet... LVG seems to be managing his game time quite well, easing him back, he is a world class striker, with a better record than either costa or aguero for the last 5-6 years... He will have a bearing on this season when back fit...

Ok lads if Kun is out for a month We can transfer him out and plan our WC to bring him back in correct?

In light of this I need to get rid of him obviously for hit! Who do you reckon?
    A) costa - obvious choice but i enjoy watching others who have him be frustrated by his shortcomings, however limited they are
    B) benteke - this is where I'm leaning
    C) Carroll

Thinking that I will do Fabianski > Hart and Aguerro> Rooney(-4) and play 4-4-2. Normally wouldn't flip goalies but I think Hart can generate enough points to offset my -4. If Silva does well during the week I may do Fab-Silva for a -8. Not a 100% on YaYa especially with 4 YC. This is what my team would look like:

    Hart,
    Bertrand, Clyne, Taylor, Hutton
    Boyd, Hazard, Sanchez, Siggy
    Rooney, Costa

    McCarthy, Fab, Chambers, Austin

Make sense or any other recommendations? I have .6 ITB

Cheers. Me being a non owner and you an owner, would you bring him in this week? Can also go for Sakho (or any other of the budget options) instead of Kane

Looks pretty solid ... amazing front 8 although you'll have benching issues with that midfield and Aussie back in the side!

Having said that. It's probably a good situation to be in with too much talent rather than not enough.

Age old dilemma though ... if you downgraded one of Siggy or Downing to Boyd you could upgrade a striker when the big boys start hitting their straps (i.e. Benteke, Lukaku, Rooney, etc.)

Yeah that's what I wanna to, but it's which striker to bring in for Aguero that I'm not sure about. Initially was all for costa, but now I'm thinking Dzeko or benteke would be a better shout.

If it doesn't feel right, better off saving. Especially with United still to play & UCL + EL games.

    Best Aguero replacement?

    A) Bony (best form)
    B) Lukaku (best fixtures)
    C) Rooney (best player and team)
    D) other ?

Other strikers are Costa and Austin

So consensus all week has been toure for city cover. I can afford him but thinking of going nasri instead. Article draws attention to the match he had this week. Anyone with me?

    1. Walsh
      11 years, 10 months ago

Not I, Zan. However, I am feeling like Dzeko over Yaya. My midfield has been so tidy, feels silly to shift anyone out at the moment.

Any thoughts in regards to the best option?

    1) Aguero Fabregas Boyd --> Dzeko Toure Eriksen (-8)

    2) Aguero Fabregas Chambers --> Rooney Toure Azpilicueta (-8)

    3) Aguero Downing --> Bony Toure (-4) keep Fabregas

I already have Hazard, Costa, Sanchez and currently 6 players injured/suspended.

Don't get rid of Downing if you can help it. (Or Boyd)

Look at Kun and one other (Fabregas) and get Yaya and Bony til Acon.

Cheers man. I noticed that Fabregas may be about to go down in value tonight, which would mean I could not go for plan B. So that was my choice and I now have Rooney Toure and Azpilicueta. Aguero better be injured and Rooney/Azpilicueta better not get injured this week, otherwise my risk taking will have been a disaster 🙁

I'm right with you on that one. Currently looking at a team with Fabi, Chamb, Fab, Kun and Austin.

Thinking Hamer(reserve GK), Fabr, Kun --> Pantilimon, Yaya, Costa/Rooney but need to move soon!

    Best looking move here fellas?

    A) Krul -> Foster/Pantillimon
    B) Krul & Aguero -> Hart & Rooney/Lukaku/Bony (4 points)
    C) Krul, Chambers & Aguero -> Hart, Baines & Lukaku/Bony (8 points)

    Elliot
    Terry, Wisdom, Hutton
    Sanchez, Hazard, Eriksen, Siggy, Downing
    Costa, Kane

    Krul, Yun, Chambers, Aguero
