With the fall-out from Sergio Aguero’s injury reverberating around the Fantasy Football community, it’s time to distract ourselves from our return to the drawing board and resume the Gameweek action.

A pair of Premier League encounters await, with events beginning at the Boleyn Ground as Swansea City clash with West Ham. A battle of two in-form teams harbouring top six ambitions, the Hammers go into this match with just one defeat in the last eight, while the Swans’ have also suffered just one setback in their previous six league outings. Fantasy managers will of course be hoping that the 50% owned Gylfi Sigurdsson can help rescue the Gameweek with midfield returns, while Wilfried Bony will likely be auditioning as the potential Sergio Aguero replacement, once the City’s striker’s prognosis is confirmed.

Later today, Villa meet Leicester City in a midlands derby that, while bereft of Fantasy talent, could yet prove of interest with Christian Benteke now presenting an option up top. The Belgian returned to the scoresheet to earn the three points at Palace in midweek and, should he also put the Foxes to the sword, there’s little doubt that Benteke will be another name considered in the light of Aguero’s injury scare.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Top 10k ownership (starting XI)

    Downing 40%
    Bony 21%
    Sakho only 2%
    Fabianski 11%

    44 all out!

Hazard & Baines for Yaya and Clichy was a masterstroke...

    Only aguero injured.

    Team for next week:

    Heaton

    Smalling Clichy Terry Wisdom Dummett

    Sanchez Yaya Jedinak Siggy Downing

Aguero Ings Costa and 1.5 in the bank

IS Aguero to Rooney & Siggy to Hazard the right move for -4?

Just did a player conparison and it might have just changed my mind. Toure seems an obvious move for man city cover, especially as he will need to step up in aguero's absense (and be on pens, i imagine), but i just ran a player comparison with eriksen over last 6 matches (average per appearance) and eriksen smashes him for everything...

    Both have good fixtures.

    1. SuperMario
      • 16 Years
      11 years, 14 days ago

looking at both myself.. you would expect that Yaya will step up tho...
      Costa and Eriksen
      or
      Kane and Yaya ??

      1. Sharkytect
        • 11 Years
        11 years, 14 days ago

Wow, that is a tough one. I think costa is gonna keep scoring and getting 5 points a game.

I'd go with eriksen. I'm thinking i can get yaya in for sanchez next week, as arsenal's fixtures turn bad and he has been shifted out wide...

    Siggy - Sanchez - Fab - Hazard - Yaya
