I think having a strong bench is very useful over this Xmas period with possible injuries, rests, suspensions, etc.

Still nothing solid, speculative reports suggest 4-6 weeks but until we hear from the club we shouldn't assume anything. You just never know, he might have bruised a kneecap (which is painful) and be back in a week or two.
