In light of Sergio Aguero’s knee injury, we delve into the data to highlight a number of forwards’ weekend displays. Wilfried Bony and Robin van Persie’s fine form arrives under the spotlight, whilst we also assess Diego Costa’s recent toils for Chelsea. The Gunners’ weekend scorers and Tottenham’s in-form Dane are also amongst this evening’s topics as Fantasy managers look to spend that left over budget from the Aguero fall-out.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

He's been very lucky to get goals last few weeks and didn't really play that well imo. I almost took him out after that performance vs Soton. Also with ADM fit, his place is in question.

If it wasn't for the fixtures I would probably say Walters at this moment in time. I would however probably prioritise a keeper as you don't want to be relying on Hamer week in week out. Panti looks ok, Guzan looks good after this week

He is. But without Kompany City's defence are weaker. On the plusside without Aguero they have to be more solid at the back to win games. Can't depend on him to give them 2 or 3 goal headstarts.

This too in a way, Oscar is also similar too Hazard in the sense that Oscar is a home performer this season.

In a sense, it puts a limit to my 3rd mid ceiling, when I can have an Erkisen or a Silva there with great home fixtures next week. While the former Oscar is likely to blank away again.

Depends what you are looking for.

For an out and out striker, Gary Taylor-Fletcher would be the choice for me. Guaranteed returns and a great differential with the big lad that looks like your dad.

Instead of the overly expensive Yaya, I'd actually go with the underrated Andy King. Always gets a few minutes for Leicester at the end of a game and the potential for points in those 4-5 minute periods is phenomenal.

      Good luck.

Dzeko and Azpi out cost me dear. PLaying with 10 men this week. Dropped well back. Hopefully Baines and Yun can drag be back up a bit.

One good thing about this GW is my cup opponent seems to have had a nightmare. He brought in Dzeko AND Jovetic this week

You really want to focus on the striking power of Andy Johnson or Gary Taylor-Fletcher. Both absolute monsters in front of goal and likely to score more than Roon dog, Bony M and Eddie D put together.

      Good luck!

Hamilton's achievements perhaps fresher in the memory? I really don't get the hype around the award as a whole. What does it even mean?

The award is pretty meaningless I suppose. But still, Rory won 2 majors and the Ryder Cup. Hamilton was given the best formula 1 car and beat his teammate. Ridiculous.

thats what i mean, he always gets 6-7 points whenever he scores, never more. those extra potential baps accumulate a lot over matches. whereas someone like downing will always get the 3 baps even for just an assist

As a striker you can't really complain with one BP, especially when there are other scorers in the game.

And no, Downing gets 1-2 BPS for an assist, not 3.

My point being, be happy that he is actually getting bonus points unlike Costa when he scores

      In a word, more "commanding".

DDG is the best shot stopper, but Courtois controls every inch of his box, especially crosses

The chance to be a shot-stopper is the key point.

Everyone raved about Mignolet at Sunderland, Marshall at Cardiff etc. for the same reason.

That said DDG is very good, just not as good as Courtois.

I think Courtois looks more like the finished product. He has been at a higher level for longer plus we've seen him in Athletico and Chelsea - two awesome defences. DDG has been part of a transitioning Utd team while also developing in front of us. Or it could be that Courtois just looks a bit bigger and safer than DDG.
