QPR’s home hitman hogs the array of impressive numbers on show from the weekend, ably assisted by stellar showings from Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Elsewhere in our regular members’ statistical digest, we examine how Man City’s tactical tweaks influenced two of their key midfielders and analyse how a pair of returning United assets are hinting at major hauls as their minutes begin to build.
like sanchez would love a costa and hazard blank 😛
this
You'll be disappointed
Chelsea fixtures are so near, Monday followed by Friday early game.
Possibly their players will be more tired? Should I still captain Hazard? Choices:
Hazard (WHM)
Sanchez (QPR)
Yaya (wba)
Austin (ars)
Bony (AVL)
Giroud (QPR)Alexis might be rested imo hearing how tired he looked.
Giroud if you have himThink most will go:
Sanchez (c)
Hazard (vc)the way Chelsea plays, i fully expect 9 out of the starting 11 tonight to be in the 11 against WHU. They kill games off early and usually play the last 30min in 2nd gear.
Rooney to Falcao? I love Roo, but he is playing to deep... or will go upfront when Di Maria is back for 90 minutes?
Aguero -> Jovetic was a shitty transfer, thank god Jovetic -> Austin paid off.. Must be my transfer of the season
A blessing in disguise some might sayDon 😉
😉
Happy with your GW old chap?
Heaton 4m
Clyne Azpi Baines ( Yun Moore )
Silva Sanchez Siggy Downing Fabregas
Kane Austin Costa
£3.1m ITB
Who to drop from the front 8?
Have already done Boyd ( love you!) to Silva this week @8.8 , anyone else worth a -4 this week ??There's going to be some benching headaches with that front 8.
Nice teamcheers
benching headaches used to be something I would avoid but for me lately it just seems that every week I am badly in need of a strong bench at the moment , luckily Boyd came to the rescue a few times.
Tempted to run with a strong bench till perhaps the end of january wilcard / aguero comes back etc
Nothing needed, assuming no injuries tonight. Lovely team!
What happens to H2H leagues and matches if one of the teams deletes its Premier League account? Replaced by the average?
No idea
The team stays as is inactive and league continues I'm sure
Yeah, that's the most likeliest explanation. They perhaps keep your team till the end of the season and then delete it from their database.
It happened in my h2h league with mates last year. If I clicked on his team where his name used to be it just said DELETED. But I still l still lost a game to him
keep him for Stoke and then get rid is my plan
reply fail
I know its a bit sideways but is Sanchez to Cazorla a good move?
Going on recent stats, I'm really tempted.
Would allow Siggy to Silva.I said no then I saw the caveat...
Sometimes I feel I'm holding on to a player because of the money made.
Siggy & Sanchez bothering me, but also have Baines & Cisse.
boyd, costa => silva, kane (-4)??
Not for me
Heaton (Mannone)
Clyne Ivanovic Chambers (Wisdom, Yun)
Hazard Sanchez Siggy Downing (Boyd)
Rooney Costa Austin
1FT and £1.0 ITB
Any help?Save FT this week then maybe downgrade Rooney and upgrade Siggy for free, depending on how Rooney does and how deep he plays vs Newcastle
Cheers
What do you prefer?
A. Heaton to Panti for free
B. Save 1FTB
B
Hello
Pantilimon is one of the best value for money bargains going at the moment
Had him from the start. 😎
kane
yup, him and Downing
getting him on WC soon
Moore > Vergini
For free?
Gives me a full team for the tough period.Full squad*
Yes
Nice 😀
Yes
Cheers Christmas Pirlo 🙂
Panti and Fabianski rotation is luxury.. Luckily Fab got 8 pts since Panti got 10 on my bench. Panti (HUL) over Fab (AVL) this week, right?
Yup, it's what im doing
Sunderland only keep clean sheets in away matches or difficult home matches.
But Villa have a decent record of scoring away, haven't they? If I play Fab I'm sure Villa will score
how much does falcao cost?
10.5
All week tossed up fabianski or panti, ended going with fabs - only 2 pts difference but feel smug having 2 high scoring GK's, its rare for me to get just the one!
Hi All,
I want to get Austin in (Not till after Arsenal away as his stats away arent great) but do people think a front line of Austin, Costa & Kane is to weak?No - i think it looks good.
No not if you have a big 5
if Kane was 9 million would you still think it was weak?
True, but its his first decent run in the PL so the question is valid.
Thanks chaps 🙂
A guy here had Bojan-Austin-Sakho and rank something like 15k 😀
That upfront isnt week unless those cheapie stops scoring 🙂Good shout 🙂
Mine is Austin, Kane and Bony - and I really don't think it's too weak atm -> Offers me Baines, Ivan, Yaya, Hazard, while the money is there for eg Sanchez.
Too weak, fam. It's one of Austin/Kane for me dude. get yourself a Dzeko (when fit) / Giroud / Bony type player to round it off.
What are your thoughts on having Sterling over the next few GWs? Very decent fixtures but I guess there may be rotation to factor in...
nah, Liverpool are awful
I'm considering for sure could be a good differential
I was thinking the same thing to be honest. A MF up front with decent fixtures - worth a shot.
until he starts scoring goals, i would prefer downing though
Rooney to Kane
Coleman to Zaba
Tiote to Cazorla
Risky?Nope. All ok.
I'd keep Rooney(NEW)
His position 🙁
How did manage to have Tiote in your team??
😆
On WC, had no Burnley slot left and only Tiote was active player for that position 😛
Any advice much appreciated, worried I don't have Hazard so was thinking maybe Costa=>Kane and Boyd=>Hazard ?
De Gea (Elliot)
Azpilicueta Baines Clichy Betrand (Yun)
Sanchez Fabregas Siggy (Downing Boyd)
Costa Rooney Austin
1FT and 1.8 ITBRooney to Kane instead?
Any advice on this team? Thanks!
Fabianski (McCarthy)
Zabaleta jagielka Clyne (wisdom) (duff)
Hazard sanchez Yaya boyd (mahrez)
Costa Austin bonyForster
Chambers, Azpilicueta, Zabaleta, Duff, Hutton
Hazard, Sanchez, Downing, Sigurdsson, Boyd
Costa, Rooney, Benteke
I'd like a selection of Silva, Kane, Milner or Austin. Unfortunately I have no money in the bank and only 1ft
Siggy and Rooney/Costa out I was thinking
Any ideas?Austin can wait next week... You could save the ft and do Rooney for Austin and Siggy for Silva next week
Guzan
Azi,Clyne,Baines,
Downing,Silva,Oscar,Eriksen,barkley
Rooney,Giroud
sub:Sakho,Wisdom,Dummett
Good to go?? 3.7 LBH and 0 FTBaines to a City defender?
that thought running in mind for ages..but having a gut feeling baines will score big when ship him out and not for a -4..
Guzan
Zaba // Baines // Clyne
Silva // Sanchez (c) // Hazard (vc) // Downing
Costa // Bony // Kane
Subs: Given // Boyd // Duff // Cresswell
0FT GTG?Yes
Repost here.
What would you do about this lot? Save the FT as I don't think there's an area that needs urgent sorting out?
Maybe I will be looking at Baines > Zaba or Sanchez > Sterling / Eriksen / ADM / Silva.
Need to get Pants man to rotate with Adrian ahead of tough fixtures.
1 FT, 0.2 ITB
Adrian McCarthy
Baines Azpi Chambers Taylor Hutton
Sanchez Yaya Hazard Siggy Downing
Bony Giroud Austinstrong team (cheap bench) vs benching headaches
benching headaches used to be something I would avoid but for me lately it just seems that every week I am badly in need of a strong bench at the moment , luckily Boyd came to the rescue a few times lately ! ( tho have done boyd to silva this week ).
that leaves me silva, sanchez, fabregas with downing and siggy as my 4th/5th mid , costa kane austin upfront and still £3.1m to spend ( azpi clyne baines at the back)
Tempted to run with a strong bench to cover injuries/christmas rotation etc till perhaps the end of january wilcard / aguero comes back etc any others thinking likewise ?At this time of the year I like to have 2 strong bench options. Other times of the year, I go cheap as possible.
With Duff and Marney in my team, I've not had too many benching headaches lately. With the Christmas schedule arriving, you certainly make me think that Duff out could be right - a strong squad will be handy over the coming GWs.
Is Clark from Villa nailed on? He started even with Vlaar back. I like the lad and I think he has goals in him
Anyone.?.He should play, but Hutton is the better option imo.
Hutton is card magnet and Clark is goal threat. I like the lad. I think he is capable of 15 pter and Hutton just scored for the first time in 3 years or so. Also he easily gets red cards, I had enough of all those red cards this year in my squad
Good points, I have Guzan so I wont double up on Villa defence anyway... Go with your guts and get Clark then? Could pay off!
Yes those are good pts but I am scared of rotation. Vlaar is injury waiting to happen so it is Clark or Hutton, for me. I really prefer Clark but anyone knows why he wasn't playing beginning of the season? He was injured or out of favour? Who played above him?
I'm looking at Clark too
You think we are on to something ?
Not sure, if he stays nailed on he is a good option.
Too much of a risk when Hutton is the same price. When's Senderos back?
Also other question not answered by no one
Any chance Alcaraz to start some of this games due to festive rotation ?
Please and thanksI mean Distin is 100 years old, no chance he plays all those games in a row. Stones and Alcaraz in for Jags and Distin this GW or next one imo
I think Jagielka will play all the games. CBs doesn't require rest.
One of Stones/Alcaraz will replace DistinThank you Sarnab
Really tempted to take a hit just to sort out my awful bench. It's bound to get some action on Boxing Day and two days later so could be more like a -2
Playing Wisdom at the moment with Yun, Moore and Obertan on the bench
0.3 ITB
a) Moore ➡ Hutton
b) Obertan ➡ Boyd
c) Leave it. Not worth a hitI have a dilemma for the bench too.. On the other side I am thinking that everyone will be in the same boat so is it worth it ? Aren't those wasted transfers? How much pts that bench is gonna produce even if it plays?
I think a lot will have Boyd / a playing 5th mid. Hutton has good fixtures and he's nailed on for the festive period
Yun - 0 or minus
Obertan & Moore - 0Well this is good arguments. Go with your guts mate
Thanks
Moore > Hutton a decent shout bro
Cheers. Even for a hit? It will just be a relief to get rid of Moore
Well, he'll shirley play so you're looking at only a -2. And Swansea aren't the sort of team who'll smash other teams and Villa haven't looked too shabby this season so I can't see Hutton finishing with 0 or even minus points. But in truth I'd usually avoid hits unless I've got loads of players out or if i think it's a really calculated gamble that'll pay off with the player scoring, etc.
