The Big Numbers – Gameweek 17

QPR’s home hitman hogs the array of impressive numbers on show from the weekend, ably assisted by stellar showings from Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Elsewhere in our regular members’ statistical digest, we examine how Man City’s tactical tweaks influenced two of their key midfielders and analyse how a pair of returning United assets are hinting at major hauls as their minutes begin to build.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Since I can't do Siggy > Downing/Sakho > Austin without doing another transfer.

Thinking Sakho Clyne Siggy > Milner JT Austin for a hit.

    Team is Guzan/Alnwick - Clyne/Naylor/Vergini/Hutton/Yun - Hazard/Yaya/Sanchez/Siggy/Boyd - Rooney/Costa/Sakho. Been floundering for the past 2 weeks, just inside 20k.

Arsenal can't afford to drop points against QPR. I think they will start with almost the same team.

Kos (if fit) on for Chambers
      Podolski on for Sanchez

Also think they will plan to rest a few players if they go a few goals up

    Taken from City's Bluemoon Forum:

" I personally would be very surrpised if there aren't significant changes between the 2 games. Certainly that is the indicator from last year when Pellegrini made 6 changes from the team that played Liverpool to the one that struggled against Palace.

At the back Zab, Lescott and Kolorav were replaced by Clichy, Nasty and Boyata. In the middle and up front Nasri, Ya Ya and Negredo were replaced by Milner, Garcia and Dzeko. He used 3 subs in the game - Negredo, Nasri and Kolorav.

Interestingly YaYa was on the bench and not used. "

Injuries etc this year may influence Pellegrini's thinking but....

A few facts about Santi Cazorla over the past 4 GWs:

    - 9 key passes
    - 13 goal attempts (Most from midfielders)
    - Out of the 13 attempts, hit the target 5 times (Second most from all midfielders)
    - Involvement in 22 goal attempts
    - Received 3 big chances (Most from midfielders) – converted all 3
    - Created 2 big chances (Second only to Stewart Downing)

There is one thing you can be certain, is that Chelsea will play a better game vs west ham than arsenal will play to QPR.

Giroud is not very good, any other team besides liverpool would have destroyed and punished arsenal.

Sanchez might be rested and you dont want to risk a 5 min cameo
