Anyone else though that Costa played quite well? Obviously poor in front of goal today but I thought his build up was great.
Also...
Costa to Giroud yay or nay?-
Nay
-
Costa made the fab goal with that run
-
put in a great shift. Hold up play was excellent. Very good performance. All that means nothing for FPL. Wasteful in front of goal
-
Yes
-
No
-
-
Thank fu*k my Chelsea three got the points.
I will take my 54 points after hits and bonuses and run.
Roll on next week complete disaster averted.-
Not one of your better weeks but we move on Pelle!

-
Thanks!
-
where did you find out the top 1k?
-
-
-
76-72 I'm through to next round of PpCup, that was close my opponent had Terry!
-
Nice one
-
That Terry goal early on was a fair scare!
Where we at MJ with hazard you reckon?-
Too early too say although it seems a good excuse for Jose to give him his Xmas rest either way
-
-
-
I reckon the cup specialist could go all the way!
-
As you know it's easier said than done a very high standard in here, I've scraped my 3 games tho I have some experience here, isn't that right Evs! 😉
-
-
see you in the next round
-
-
Really impressed with Bojan tonight against one of the toughest defences in Europe. If he carries on Improving he would make a nice understudy to Silva and his endless injuries. Quite similar in style I thought.
-
Maureen was already tapping him up at the end of the game.
-
Really...tell me more....He's wasted at Stoke, wrong sort of team altogether.
-
Not such more to say. He went up to Bojan and they started talking.
-
He played well against Mourinho the last time they met...
-
-
But owes Hughes a lot for having faith in him.
-
-
-
-
Such a shite week, van Persie(c) and Cesc have killed me 🙁
-
Always next week
-
Thats the beauty, plus its only 4 sleeps!
-
Where my entire team will be on the bench...
-
This 😆
-
-
-
-
Hey lads, what to do with this team?
Forster
Mertesacker - Azpilicueta - Baines
Siggy - Sanchez - Yaya - Hazard - Downing
Austin - Benteke
Bench: McCarthy / Sakho / Yun / Duff
Was thinking of playing it safe and strengthening my bench, Duff --> 4.4m defender, any suggestions? -
2 BAPS for Haz and Azpi wtf?
-
Pls be true. 1 bp no?
-
Read the article 😉
-
sure no
-
they have problems with the bold but you should also use your own brain
-
-
Costa and Siggy out for Giroud and Fab this GW for -4 or wait a week for free?
-
Minute silence for Mark who has just been overturned by Grnaville :(((
-
Wasn't he ahead by quite a significant margin earlier this season? Good effort there Granny.
Anyone got the link to the contributors league?
-
-
Think I may just break into the top 10k! Well FFFix thinks so. 😀
-
Well played, especially today!
-
Cheers
-
-
I'm thinking I might just sneak in too 😀
What's your total points after this GW?-
Brilliant 😀
I think 88-
Great score, well done!
-
-
-
It's always a little optimistic I find. Congrats if so though.
-
I agree. Fingers crossed!
-
Yeah, it gets your hopes up big time.
-
-
Overall total score?
I'll be on 967-
I'm hoping too, fingers crossed!
-
-
-
How do you guys think Austin will do against Arsenal? Stupid to bench him for someone like Sigurdsson?
-
He has a chance to score
Why wouldn't you play siggy? Hey it's not the greatest but he has good chance of a big score -
They are calamitous at the back. But QPR are awful away from home
-
Stupid not to bench him imo.
-
Okay, not stupid, it's just I wouldn't.
-
-
He could easily get a goal arsenal are crap at defending and especially at set pieces
-
I'd leave him on, he's in form and arsenal looked average against a poor Liverpool.
-
Poor Liverpool? They played really well, if they had Sturridge it could've been embarrassing for Arsenal.
-
-
Yes. Form and confidence of his life.
-
-
big red arrow this week even with some pts today
average gone up by 19 pts wtf-
I had 30pts on the bench, plus 22pts tonight, oopsie 😆
-
?
-
Left Austin, Yaya, Dummett, Guzan on the bench while I played Elliot, Hutton, Mirallas, Clichy, so that's 30pts coming on with autosubs. Had Haz(c), Azpi & Costa tonight so that's another 22pts so 52pts added to my score tonight.
-
-
-
siggy 50% ownership, so autosubs + 3 chelsea's and their captains
-
-
Do people really think chelsea will roll over west ham? I honestly don't think they will
-
will be a tough game.
-
1-0 probably
-
I think it will be that or a 2-0
-
-
will be tough without hazard
-
No, not when they have the early kickoff next GW after playing the latest kickoff this GW
-
They won't role them over but even a 2-0 will probably be enough to bring a lot of FPL points to most people.
-
No, West Ham have lost once in the last eleven games. Draw for me
-
-
Am I reading right, are some people seriously contemplating taking out Hazard for Fabregas? I've seen it all now, and before a home game, they need their heads read.
-
He walked off,mnot carried off
-
Aguero walked off
Just saying
-
-
dont they have 1 home game in 4? From memoru
-
A lot of things get written here. No one is serious about it imo.
-
He might be injured
-
Potentially a lot of money sat on the bench when he does not play in 4 days time, back in depending on prognosis after that for the 28th.
-
Injury scare is enough for a lot of kneejerking on here
-
-
Adrian to hart
or
tiote to boyd(Need bench only got hutton and moore) -
Hi guys, what a weird weekend, still wishing I'd had the nerve to captain Austin, but hey you win some you lose some.
I'm looking at my transfer options for next week and think that it might be a good idea to get Zabaleta in for Baines since he was in so many attacking positions at the weekend, but I do already have Hart, so there's that to consider. Or I could also get in Van Persie for Costa and downgrade Baines to a 5.5 defender.
Ultimately, would you go with Baines > Zabaleta, or Baines > 5.5 and Costa > Van Persie for -4?
Could also get Fabs in somehow and get rid of Costa if I wanted to keep Baines as that's my other option.-
Baines is due a penalty, clean sheet and free kick. Home to Stoke. You are brave transferring him out. I'm also an eternal optimist 😉
Captain material to some people.-
Yes that's my issue. I might just wait a week and see
-
1 point against Hull at home was it for me.
-
-
-
Rookie season.
Do we find out out who our cup opponent is tonight or sometime later this week?-
I'd say later this week.
-
2nd one. Maybe even after deadline.
-
PP cup is usually Thursday. I expect with Christmas falling on Thursday, it'd be Wednesday at latest.
-
-
Me daft
I was thinking that tomorrow was Christmas Eve
I've still got 2 days to get the presents in 🙂-
buy vouchers 😛
-
-
Costa to giroud for -4
-
Hell no. Check Arsenal fixtures.
-
Thanks
-
form over fixtures.
how many goals was Costa supposed to score?
they said: hattrick after the international break, he is rested. then new, HUL etc.
-
-
I think no. At least not for next week
-
Thinking the same, but Costa looked good today, just a bit frustrated with being fouled every 5 seconds by Stoke.
-
-
Can't wait for the Scout cast. There will be Christmas one no?
-
There wasn't last year.
-
Yeh Wednesday
-
We're planning on recording and publishing on Wednesday. My throat is sore right now, but hopefully it'll clear up
-
-
Think I managed 16 bonus points this week. Feels like a shed load.
-
How does this lot look?
De Gea
Azpil, Clichy, Zaba
ADM, Hazard, Yaya, Sanchez
Austin, Costa, Kane
Would mean a -4 to get it
Cheers in advance-
I like the look of that team. who's the -4 for? I'm least fussed about ADM there.
-
-
Has anyone got that page/table where it shows you your GW rank according to the points total you got?
-
fpldiscovery
-
-
Nice one.
-
-
-
BBC are saying they understand that Clarke Carlisle's injuries are not thought to be life threatening. fingers crossed although they only broke the story of his accident 15 minutes ago so not convinced.
-
BBC will not go until they have all the facts
-
So good news then 🙂
-
-
-
I'm going to captain Costa
Great differential???? -
Score check? 68 here (about average on here by the sounds of things)
-
63 I think
-
77, possibly 78. Something like that.
-
82, plus 4 baps to come I think (sorry I'm having a gloat)
-
87 here.
-
Well done.
-
What's Mark's? You're bearing down on him at a rate of knots!
-
I'm 2 points behind.
-
Nice work. Hope there's a tasty scout cast soon but I imagine things like xmas might get in the way
-
-
-
-
80 all out
-
-
Tricky decision to make for next game week my squad is as follows:
de Gea
Baines---Zab---Terry---Ivan---Azpil
Downing---Di Maria---Erikson---Nasri---Albrighton
Carroll---Austin---Bony
As West Ham face Chelsea next GW, I wondering if I should do form over fixture and drop 2 Chelsea defenders and play Carrol l and Downing?-
What's your rank?
-
My rank is not good, I neglected my team for weeks and took a monster point hit about a month ago to get most of this team. de Maria is my transfer for this week
-
-
My god, that defence! :O
-
Link your team.
-
Is be dropping one of each to try and hedge your bets? Triple Chelsea is v risky imo...
-
What's the point in having double Chelsea defence if you bench them at home to West Ham?
-
triple!
-
Oh Jesus!
-
-
The fact that you've got Carroll and Downing in your team makes no difference whatsoever to Chelsea's clean sheet odds.
-
Correct but you're missing the point. Forget I own the West Ham players. Would you play all three Chelsea defenders against an in form West Ham team?
-
at home, definitely. better teams than that west ham side will struggle for goals at the bridge. drop baines.
-
Interesting, which west ham player makes the cut?
-
absolute toss-up imo!
-
-
-
-
-
-
that defence is ridiculous, lol.
-
Your defence hurts my eyes.
Anyway, I'd probably go all in on a result rather than hedging your bets. More fun, y'know.
