Tonight we roll out the fourth round draw of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup X, as sponsored by Paddy Power, as well as  look back at the nail-biting conclusion to the Third Round ties.

With a score of 105 points, Made of Stone achieved the highest haul of the round. Given his losing opponent Paul Penney notched up an impressive 84 points, it shows just how tough this competition gets towards the final rounds. Made of Stone’s heroics, which included captaining David Silva and having John Terry and Pablo Zabaleta in his defence, earn him a round four tie against Nordeast.

The Fourth Round sees two top ten players looking to progress further in the competition. Randy Milla sits in seventh overall and faces 1,217th ranked Whalley DJ. Meanwhile, Doctor101 may be a credible 2,431st overall but has the tough task of taking on eighth placed Never Trust Lukaku.

Another name to watch out for in round four is Granville. Our Scoutcast co-host saw off Huddy in round three and will meet Fantasypete next.

Other notable community match ups in round four include Tommy J against Louis Van Goal and Dez against Gimli son of Gloin.

The full list of third round results can be found here, while the fourth round draw in full can be found here.

Good luck to those involved in the weekend’s action. In the meantime, though, if you’re looking for more information on the Scout Cup schedule and prizes available, click this link for a more thorough rundown.

This whole Sanchez & Hazard thing is a right pain in the ringer.

Especially as I have no other suitable captain options.

Costa - Bony - Rooney not options are they?

I'm going for bony ahead of Sanchez and Haz, it feels like the safe option. Costa feels like a pretty safe option too. I've not watched enough of Utd to know what's going on with Rooney though.

If all were fit it would definitely be Hazard though.

Currently on Hazard and Sanchez VC. Bony is an option given that he'll certainly play and had a good fixture, might be wise to stick the VC on him

I still think Rooney is. Deep he is, but his home form is good enough and he's guaranteed the minutes.

You'd think it depends on how their team are doing - if they are needed later in the game. Seems to be it's much more likely Chelsea would struggle this week than arsenal.

Trading out Costa, need some United representation and will get one of their strikers this week or take a short term punt on Bony for the reasons above.

Lost on what to do to this team this GW. Opinions would be much appreciated.

    Fabianski
    Baines - Clyne - Bertrand
    Hazard - Fabregas - Sigurdsson - Downing
    Costa - Rooney - Austin

    (Gilks - Boyd - Wisdom - Hutton) - 2FT - £2.4

Considering Hutton/Wisdom to Zabaleta. Wise? Then downgrade one of Baines/SOU in the coming weeks?

I would probably play him ahead of Bertrand. Seems wise just to upgrade Bertrand maybe? I like to have the options in the coming weeks though. Would definitely want the two SOU lads back at some point. Willing just to hold as I got them for 5.1 + 5.2

This is true. Bertrand to Zabaleta may be a wise move. Hopefully the Southampton lads drop in price for the January sales 😉

    My team for this week:

    Pantilimon
    Clyne, Chambers, Coleman
    Silva, Sanchez, Hazard, Sigurdsson
    Austin, Kane, Costa

    Subs: Begovic, Taylor, Boyd, Caulker.

Is it worth just holding on to my free transfer this week, as I have no pressing issues and my starting 11 have decent games? With the doubts over rotation, he last thing I want is a wasted transfer or unecessary hits.

      What would your transfer be?

I can't see any changes that would dramatically improve your team for Friday so I would say stick.
